Such a peaceful and delicious place to visit. We sat outside on a gorgeous evening this weekend and had tacos, margaritas, and chips & guac.

Everything on the menu is crisp and fresh. Service is great, we were given recommendations by the girl that took our order at the counter and I’m glad we took them!

Mercedes margarita is the absolute best, and I love their build your own bowls/salads option. Very allergy friendly!

Taco Mama is NEVER a disappointment! We had the judge in a bowl with a side of cheese sauce and guacamole.
During the season, make sure to try the watermelon margaritas! They are mouth watering.

WALK OFF RBI TO CLINCH THE SERIES!!

What a great little Tex Mex joint. I popped by here for lunch while traveling through Huntsville and was really impressed.

The place is lively with lots of natural lighting and a great atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and always attentive. Dannie and Candy made me feel welcome and regularly checked on me to see how the meal tasted.

The food was exceptional. I had two tacos with chips and salsa and Mexican street corn.

The tacos I ordered were The Mayor and the Alabama Redneck. Great combinations of savory meat each with the "holy" foursome of salt, fat, acid, and heat. The street corn was a train of flavor town with cotija cheese, cilantro, and roasted corn.
I would absolutely come back for a burrito and a fresh made margarita as well. Loving it!!

I got the sizzler on hard shell the first time and every visit since. We often visit Huntsville for business and stay in the adjoining hotel. It was very pleasant to sit out on the patio on a cool day and share some tacos. I love the big tray of chips and a side. The queso is delicious, the tacos were good. I would suggest warming the corn tortillas longer because they tended to split mid-bite. BUT they were tasty nonetheless. Highly recommend!

Had Taco Mama today at our corporate luncheon. It was worse than I remembered it being. I remembered it being bland, but it wasn't anything that a little salt and/or salsa couldn't fix, and the chips were usually stale. True to form the chips were stale. The chicken, beans, and rice were seasoned (yay) but the chicken was so dry that it hurt going down my throat. The beans were so dry that they came off the serving spoon as a blob. The rice was chewy and strangely seasoned.

The meat taste as if it was boiled.. it lacks any real flavor. I find it difficult to understand the popularity of this restaurant. In addition the food is over priced.. average $20 for what equates to a meal from Taco Bell. If your are looking for *Good* Street Tacos this is not your place..

Love the location and the atmosphere is great. The food is solid as well, although not something that will blow you away or anything (particularly if you are in town from TX, CA, or other similar areas). Next time I'm visiting, I would definitely eat here again though - it's a great option when you're staying in one of the nearby hotels.

Always consistent and good. Ordering tip of getting nachos; order chips on the side. You basically get a bowl with chips that don't get soggy from toppings. Also get queso and side and now you have chips and queso.

My only suggestion is that if something seasonal is on a chalkboard and the restaurant will no longer serve it anymore, then erase it. Why let customers ask for it just so the employee can say, oh sorry it's out of season.

Corona, Limeade, and Sprite?!? 🤢 have no place in a margarita. Too sweet, too bitter, too sour, and somehow still weak.

I'm not sure where all the high reviews are coming from. To be upfront I had just tacos and guacamole last night so maybe I'm just an outlier. But the food was not appetizing at all. The tuna in the ahí tuna tacos was grossly undercooked. It was more sushi like. The texture was akin to a semi hard jello. The sizzler taco was no better. The cooking of the meat was on the opposite side of the spectrum. It was overcooked to a bland taste and tough texture. The guacamole was also bland lacking cilantro and lime juice. The staff was friendly so I have nothing bad to say there except the seemingly inexperienced cashier opened up a lite Corona when I actually asked for s regular Corona. When I pointed this out she stated "Sorry but that's all we have" after which I pointed to the fridge where there were several bottles of regular Coronas. She did offer to exchange it but I hated to waste the beer already opened and told her to not worry about it. I should have gone to Chipotle. At least there I know what I'm going to get.

Honestly food is pretty bland. Nothing about it tastes good or authentic. They dont even toast the tortillas it tastes like those taco kit tacos. But thats my opinion and nice for social gatherings

We stopped by the area for a quick walk about and grew hungry. A short line at peak lunch time, but well worth the wait. The burrito I had was The Judge, flavorful chicken with rice, black beans, chips and salsa and a side. Honestly can't wait to frequent more often, lots of selection for burritos and tacos. Their Margaritas looked great also, but the weather was pretty cold, so next time for sure.

Space inside was kind of small, but handled the brief lunch rush for a Sunday. Once the weather is warmer outdoor seating will be most desirable. Keep up the great work Taco Mama, your friendly staff and warm atmosphere was excellent.

I love the Taco Mama in Providence! The service is amazing. I went to pick up my online order and the waitress showed me where my food was waiting. I frequent Taco Mama and have always had a great experience. Until today, I ordered at the counter with a lady in a red polo shirt, I am assuming she was a manager, only because she was dressed differently than other employees. My card was not working and this lady had a horrible attitude towards me. Luckily I was able to get it working and the food was great as usual. It was just disheartening that I was treated poorly because of an error with my card. I understand everyone has a bad day, however I was very disappointed today.

I absolutely love coming to this location, Irving or Gabe have been our server every time, these young men are fantastic, They are always very kind and ensure we are always taken care of. They go above and beyond with customer service, even after the store closes we still see them serving guest. The service and food is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food is always hot and fast to get to our table.

My brother took me here to give this place a try because he enjoys it so much and let me tell you Taco Mama did NOT disappoint! This place is located in a great little part of town with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was phenomenal! I got the build your own taco with chicken and they were soooo good! My brother got the same but with steak and his looked just as good and I will be trying the steak next time for sure. The meat was so flavorful and packed FULL! They don't skimp when it comes to the meat which as a consumer I really appreciate! The service was outstanding! We sat outside and generally when I've sat outside at places you feel forgotten but that was not the case here. They (multiple people) would pop out just to check on us and see if we needed anything. They also came and cleared our trays for us when they saw us about to do it ourselves. We weren't sure so we were gonna clear it ourselves just in case but they beat us to it because as soon as we stood up to leave they came out and got our stuff for us! Highly recommend! 10/10!

Service is great, employees are quick to assist you and are knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is great, everyone is very friendly and laid back, great for all ages. Table service is amazing too, servers come by to check up on you, but not too excessively. The food is always great and exactly what I ordered, never over or undercooked every time I’ve visited. Cleanliness of the restaurant is awesome, bathrooms are always clean and neat, and the tables and floors are kept clean as well. Over all, this place is 5 out of 5 for me and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Waited a long time to make the trek, and I don't have to make it again. I'm in the minority here - very popular joint. The food was generally bland. The chorizo was spicy and nothing else. The taco toppings were better than the meat. The pulled pork is overly sweet - like a KC BBQ pork. Just wasn't a pleasing meal.

I just recently moved to Huntsville. I stopped in for lunch a few months ago, while visiting, to see if I wanted to call Huntsville home. This time I came for dinner and experienced the same quality of food and service. I had the quesadillas for lunch and burrito bowl for dinner. I can’t say anything bad about either of them. The staff is great, you are never waiting on service. The indoor/outdoor atmosphere is pleasant touch with the magnificent weather right now.

I always have a great experience at all the Taco mama locations. I come to the Providence location a lot. But I haven't been in a while and the cashier said. "I remember you, you always get your frozen drink swirled." (margaritas and pomegranate) Then she said, "You haven't been here in a while! Where have you been?" I thought that was sweet that she remembered me and remembered how I liked my drink. 100% A1 top shelf service always.

Went to Taco Mama with a large group of people. It was perfect for such a situation. It is counter service so everyone can easily pay for their own tab, the food was exceptionally fast, and the service was wonderful. I got a steak burrito with the Mexican mac & cheese and a skinny margarita. Very good! I loved the consistency of the chips and the different jalapeno options. I will be back!

We had a great dining experience, with the food amazing as ever! I wanted to leave a review to share that they’re not only a great place to eat, but trustworthy! I accidentally left my purse on the back of a chair when we switched from the outdoor area to the inside. When I realized I didn’t have it, I checked where I had sat for a few minutes, and it was gone. I went to a staff member, to see if someone found a purse, and she smiled and handed it to me. They have marinated tofu and it was good! I created my own tacos with beans, cilantro, pickled jalapeños and a couple of other fixings. I had my mind set on the guacamole, but they have sour cream as an ingredient in their guacamole. I have never heard of that. I had to omit the side of guacamole for that reason.

Ordering takeout from Taco Mama was a great experience for me. My order was ready when I arrived. A kind young hispanic gentleman helped me get my order and then helped me check it to ensure it was correct. He should be given a raise. He was super professional and polite.

The food tasted great. The taco was fresh, light, and delicious. The salad was also good. I'll definitely return a few more times before I leave Huntsville.

A great place for tacos, and very reasonably priced! Never had a bad meal here, and you get lots of food for your money. You can get a taco platter, chips & queso, and a beer for less than $20. Excellent service from the folks working here. Can get crowded and noisy sometimes, but that’s kind of understandable given the good food and reasonable prices. Taco Mama for the win!

Food was awesome it honestly only got 4 out of 5 stars because we had eaten at the original in Bham and it was better than the Huntsville location in taste. Honestly if I could give them a 4.5 I would because it was really close and they were very friendly. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. It is only that the BHam location has better food.

Steak and shrimp quesadillas with cheese dip oh my goodness. The food was delicious the service was excellent we sat outside it was fantastic. Thank you Taco Mama for a great meal. Can't wait to come back. Glad to be back again another trip and steak Bumble with Mama and Joel it is always a great thing to come here because the quesadilla with the steak and shrimp quesadilla with cheese dip all over it the white cheese dip so good. Thanks to the Bender for always doing a great job.
