Wonderful meal tonight at Mi Casa! The chicken fajitas were excellent!!! The beef burritos were equally delicious! We rolled in the door just before closing to order takeout and were greeted with smiles and an incredibly professional team. The entire staff was friendly and took excellent care of us in 10 minutes!

I WAS NOT HERE, I was at Walmarts and it picked up the Mexican place.
I have been here years ago. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner at that time and he encouraged to let him know if something was not right to let him know.
The food and service was great! 😃👍

The restaurant had a bad oder when I arrived. I sat down and got chips but had to ask the waiter for salsa about 5 minutes later. I ordered Taco salad...by far the worst I have ever tried to eat. It was filled with soupy beans in the bottom, wet lettuce, chicken that had been soaked in some type of sauce. The bottom of the Taco Salad shell was leaking so bad the plate under it was filled with brown greasy water! I tried 3 bites and truly thought I was going to throw up! NEVER again! Worst Mexican restaurant I've ever tried!

When the owner is here service is good but when he's not it's the worst, My wife and I have eaten here many times but have come to the conclusion that if the owners not on the floor we will go elsewhere.

So nervous to eat my food; they got my order wrong twice. They don’t wear gloves, and I saw one of the workers licking his fingers as he came out of the kitchen. They attempted to serve me food in a broken carry out plate which was dirty on the outside. Wow.

I thought I loved this place. But, we are staying in Groove Hill. We drove to Jackson to pick up an order. 2 PLAIN steak burritos and a taco salad. When we got back to the hotel. The order was all wrong. So we called they said to bring everything back and they will redo the order. Will that would have been another 30 minute drive. I just don't understand with gas prices like they are we can't afford to go back and forth. So of course they didn't get eaten. What a waste.

My family and I were in Jackson, Al for their annual Fall Festival and decided to eat here. The service was good and the staff friendly. However, the food was not great and was over priced. My wife and I each ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla with a side of rice. We also ordered cheese dip and guacamole and 2 sweet teas. The quesadillas were mainly cheese with very little chicken. The cheese was not completely melted and the whole quesadilla was about room temperature. The rice was also about the same and was very clumpy. After all that the bill was $37 before tip, and yes we did leave a tip because our server was good. The reason for the higher price is everything was a la carte.

VERY VERY SLOW SERVICE and they weren't busy. Had to ask multiple times for beer. Never got drink refills. Waited for the check but finally had to walk up front to get it where all the workers were just hanging out.

We ordered a variety of food and the food seemed to have been heated in a microwave in the plastic to go plate for which it was served. Our food was all smuched together in the plate, presentation is everything. We also noticed that the waiter/waitress were sitting around drinking soda when we entered the restaurant. We probably won't eat there again.

The service is good and fast. I love the chips and salsa. Their salsa does vary though. When it's made right, it's good and has a little heat to it but sometimes they make it and it tastes as if it came from a premade salsa. I wish their salsa was consistently good with that little bit of heat to it. Anything I've ever ordered there I've enjoyed. I love going there for my birthday, wearing the Sombrero and my shot of tequila!

There's not many sit-down-and-eat places around here. That alone makes me appreciate Mi Casa. The food is good. The service is usually really good. And, it's a peaceful family oriented environment. The cost is average for a place such as this, and there's plenty of options to choose from including foods my kids will eat. I give it 4/5 stars because sometimes it's better than others. But, usually i have no complaints.
