Wow! I was on a long and perilous journey across the south to get to my destination of Florida. Just when I thought that I was going to give up and my bleak car ride would drive me to misery, I happened to stumble across this fine establishment Los Reyes. At first, I was skeptical because there seemed to be no patrons (I later found out that this was due to my late arrival of 8:30, thirty minutes before they close.) But, I was quickly put back into positive spirits when I received my QUESADILLA RANCHERO! Absolutely delectable. Perfectly grilled tortilla, flavorful chicken, and perfect queso. Let’s just say that I left this fine establishment in good spirits and confident that I could complete the rest of my drive.

First time at Los Reyes Grill, really enjoyed everything, but, I ordered the grilled shrimp and brown rice, the rice and vegetables were great 👍. The shrimp, not so great. It was overcooked and stuck to the skewer. I had to really work to get it off the stick 😩. I would come again, but maybe not so soon. The server and the rest of the staff were very helpful 👍. The restaurant was very clean, maybe a little worn, but nice. Nuff said...

Hands down the best mexican food within 50 miles of Jasper it's not even close! Carne asada was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The al pastor was as good as it gets. The salsa was good the chips were warm. Great service great vibe 10/10 would recommend. The food was so darn good I didn't even remember to snap a picture! If you like spice like me ask for the spicey hot sauce it's really good.

Very nice place, has 2 sides to it. The fajitas where seasoned and tasted really good. They where not just grilled meat and peppers. Just right out side from the jasper court house downtown.

We had our class reunion on one side of the restaurant and they set up the buffet of a variety of Mexican food for us to enjoy for $15 a person. They also had an open bar for those who cared to inbibe.

Hands down the best mexican food within 50 miles of Jasper it's not even close! Carne asada was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The al pastor was as good as it gets. The salsa was good the chips were warm. Great service great vibe 10/10 would recommend. The food was so darn good I didn't even remember to snap a picture! If you like spice like me ask for the spicey hot sauce it's really good.

3 of 7 ordered chimichanga. The meat was said to be beef. What we got was the same meat they served on tacos, tasted like tacos. I called to complain and manager admitted the same and said " we are covered up I don't have time for this" and hung up.

All around great experience and the best Mexican food we have had in the Jasper area. Parking can be somewhat of a challenge but worth a couple of trips around the block until a close space opens up. The service could be a bit better as out waitress couldn't tend to her tables because she was too busy having to clear off recently vacated tables.

This was such a nice place to eat. My friend Ron and myself ate lunch there one day and the food was really good. I'd recommend this to anyone. They have all kinds of good food plus a nice kid's plate.

Ate her multiple times while visiting family and is clearly a locals' favorite choice judging by the scores of people waiting to get in, especially the after church crowd. Restaurant has a spacious interior corner old brick building location with ample free parking nearby. Prices are very reasonable and service seemed okay (the bussers can turn over tables quickly). Ultimately it's about the food though for me, which, truth be told, was slightly underwhelming due to being bland (especially the chicken) over multiple dishes even. Would still come back, but I expect more from my Mexican food taste-wise. Prob just me though. These reviews are all slightly overrated.

Service: Waiter was ok but the person who brought out our food was very rude. He would quickly mumble the dish name and then throw it at us. He didn’t want to be there and it showed.
Food: everything was grocery store bought and the shrimp is so small it’s like salad shrimp size. The fajitas were these tiny thin strips of meat, looked mostly like meat for soup. The fried shrimp and chicken fingers were hard hard, my kids didn’t eat them at all. The food looked nothing like the pictures from previous reviewers and it was one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten. We’re from Texas, I guess it’s different here in Alabama, but don’t go here.

We have been to this restaurant several time now and the work staff attitude is cold and unfriendly for most part. The cashier crew is rude, specially when asked about “Military Discount”, her reply was NO! before you can finish the sentence with her typical frown. Food and drinks are OK, but the attitude will definitely score them low. Cheer up Reyes you are in America now! 🇺🇸

For Mother’s Day we decided we would have Mexican and we went to Los Reyes Grill in Jasper, Alabama. Our server was very professional and accommodating our group and was able to get us seated and drinks on the table quickly. Our food arrived and an appropriate amount of time and was very tasty. The salsa was just right, not too spicy yet not to bland. It was an enjoyable meal for our family.

It was disappointing to pay almost $600 and be unable to take more food from the buffet because it was already removed. We love this place and always have. We will continue to dine in and get to go orders when in town

Me and my wife went for lunch. The pork and pineapple quesadillas were absolutely delicious! We also ordered the platter that comes with flank steak chipotle chicken and shrimp. We had to send it back because the steak and chicken were both completely overcooked and bone dry and to my surprise wasn't even seasoned ☹️ it was like cutting into a dry boot I really have to say!! I have had flank steak all over the world and it's supposed to be well marinated and seasoned with a slight char to it. We also had the avocado dip which was absolutely wonderful! The queso cheese was also wonderful! The waitress was very polite 👍 they did take the meal back and we got the pork and pineapple quesadillas in place of it. Sorry to say it did ruin the entire experience 😩 me and my wife were looking forward to this for about a month as my company gave me a $50 gift card for Christmas to go here. 2 stars because my whole experience was RUINED.

Really good place to eat Mexican food. The interior has a nice upscale vibe and the staff were good and helpful. All the food we had was good and the majority of choices are traditional Mexican restaurant fare. My only real nitpick is the lack of imagination on the menu (a common complaint I have when Mexican restaurants). With all this place had going for it the traditional fare choices stand out because you expect a little more. However, the food is good and the overall experience is very good. Lots of TV’s on the walls as well with plenty of viewing options.

I made a mistake and got the fish tacos. They were just fish in a soft shell- no special seasoning. And it came with a sauce that was like a tartar sauce. The grilled veggies were really good.

Amazing food and great staff! My only critique is me wanting more lemon juice in my margarita! 😂 The environment was upbeat and lively and you could tell everybody was having a good time, even the people who weren't there for the birthday party were enjoying themselves!

This was a great Mexican restaurant with wonderful food and very friendly and helpful staff. We went midafternoon and it was not busy at all. But don't let that fool you. It was worth our time to eat here. We then strolled the square to see some history of the town.

First, we are relocated from Houston (Texas not Alabama!) so our taste of Mexican food is totally different!
Service here was great! And the food was good. I got #35 - chicken enchilada, small chimichanga and cheese quesadillo. The enchilada was really good. While the other 2 were tasty, they weren't what we would necessarily call by those names. Hubby had the steak fajita and enjoyed it but flavors were not as a Mexican restaurant in Houston would be. Their Pico de Gallo was definitely different. We are used to Pico being tomato, onion, jalapeño and cilantro based - without the cilantro it just wasn't as good.

Overall, it was a nice dining experience - just not the flavors we expected. If you aren't spoiled by Texas Mexican flavors - you will probably find this a very good place for Mexican food.
