Monte Alban #3

We ordered steak tacos and chips & salsa. The tacos weren’t good at all, the steak was definitely off- possibly old? The salsa wasn’t great either. I was hopeful having read a few positive reviews but I honestly wouldn’t go back. Price was fine.

Food is great, atmosphere is decent but you never know what you're going to be charged and it's always more than the menu states, prices subject to be much higher than stated.

Very simple aesthetics, wonderful food. The best Mexican food I’ve had in the LaGrange, Columbus Auburn region so far. Attentive staff though you don’t know until you receive because there’s no call back of your order. I’m perfectly ok with this, it’s just not as common a practice as it used to be & will be worrisome for the controlling type of customer.

Great place for Mexican food. Try the Rosalyn dinner. You can’t beat it. Enough food for three people. Chips and salsa can’t be beat. Get the habanera salsa when you go. My favorite Mexican place.

tiny little place that is worth the drive. the food is delicious, very generous portions, and most importantly the tea is PERFECT

You can look at my reviews and photos and see we enjoy a variety of Mexican restaurants. Out of all of the ones we frequent, this one has the BEST chips. Theyre thick and crunchy and taste good by themselves, but with the cheese dip or house guacamole, they are out of this world. Sometimes we come here just for chips and dip and margaritas. This place is a gem.

I go there for lunch regularly its very quick,the employees are nice and do good job.. place has good food and is clean dining area.
Ribeye Loco is very good choice.

They had no water one of our people get sick. If you ask for extra lettuce or tomato or anyting your bill got racked up I won't be going there again

Very nice people, 2nd time eating here , the steak burrito had so much fat it was not edible. The chorizo dip was good but it had so much grease it was difficult to eat.

This is one of my top favorites. It opens for lunch and then closes for a few hours to get ready for dinner . The food always on point . The steak fajitas are my top choices, the meat is tender and mouth watering 😋 must try . I travel from the valley just to eat here .

Not enough parking spaces, The food was salty and most drinks were too strong and didn't taste good, but they wouldn't remove them from the bill even though they didn't drink them. Will NEVER return!

called to place Togo order put on hold for 8 minutes then someone answered an hang up called back but when I got there order was not ready had to wait in car about 20 minutes no they were not busy at all food was very good

Worst food that I ever tried, they use Mexican food names but what they serve its no even close, the serve me a chile rellenos but what they did was put ground beef on a dish cover with melted cheese and a little piece of bell pepper, what!!!!!!!!! Then they serve a burrito which was exactly the SAME ingredients but inside of a cold flour tortilla, That's a offense to mexican food, plus the grand beef was salty super grease and bad taste, I wish I had some pics, but I don't, I would like Gordon Ramsay visit this place.

Out of all the Mexican restaurants we've tried in the Auburn & surrounding areas, Monte Alban #3 in Lafayette, AL, is hands down our favorite. We've never been disappointed in the quality of their food. The mayor's special is great!

Went here after visiting a high school basketball game and had a nice dinner. The menu is expansive. Food came out quickly and correctly. Only issue was it took a long time to receive our check. The restaurant was pretty busy.
