The food was absolutely amazing. As was our waitress. She was so accommodating and sweet even though she was super busy. I enjoyed every moment. I must also note that the food is fresh and hot and cooked quickly to perfection. The bathrooms are also clean and I like the privacy provided in the rest room as well. I took my daughter her for some quality time and it was absolutely a blast. I can't wait to come back

It was pretty gross. The guacamole seems like it's been frozen or something. I ordered the chile rellenos and they were just odd. The cheese on top seemed to have been microwaved or something. I sent them back after a couple of bites and they still charged me for them. Whatever, I'll pay it this time but I'm never coming here again and I hope you don't either.

Typical americanized mexican. Server was good, they never give their name though. Food is boring, bland but not bad. Most of the staff is standoffish. It's food.

I always love coming here! The Chimichanga is my favorite. Guacamole & cheese dip never disappoint either! Stiff Margaritas and the only restaurant with a smoking section.

I rated 4 stars because the food is the most important thing for me. The food was great. I got fajita mixtas and cheese dip. Salsa was very fresh. My food was very fresh and delicious. The service was very slow, we had a party of 6 and it took about 30 minutes after our entire party arrived to get our orders placed. They were quick to take our drink orders just not the food orders. There was a party of 2 that arrived after our entire party was seated that ordered and received their food before we were even asked for food orders but that may have been because they ordered their food as soon as they ordered their drinks possibly. The atmosphere could use updates definitely but I’ll take good food over good atmosphere any day personally. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Lanett and valley area in my opinion if you care about good food over a pretty restaurant like I do. I have had not so great experience with them in the past with to go orders but if you’re dining in this is the place to go for good fresh food.

This place wouldn’t serve me at 8pm on a Wednesday. They told me this because I was alone. I was waiting on my wife. There was one table table with group of people occupying it, eating and enjoying their night. Along with that there were 3 employees up front. So if I had one more person with me they would’ve served me? Ok

Dinner was Ok. Nothing fancy just ok. Order was messed up several times. Drinks went empty and without refills several times. And when the check came we were charged $20 too much per ticket. When asking for explanation of the said overcharge we were directed to the owner who said basically pay it or don't. Come again or dont. He was really rude and did not act like a professional at all.

For us this is the all around best Mexican restaurant in town!! While we live in a small town, there are still more than five options in a 15 mile radius. El Jimador has an awesome crew who are always welcoming and the food is always fresh and delicious, not to mention the portions are insane!! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

This place is a very good lunch spot. I eat here at least once every two weeks because it is less than a mile from my office.

The lunch specials are a good portion and always well made. Their margaritas are also great.

I'm going to give my honest opinion. This is definitely not traditional Mexican food. The guacamole has a bad taste almost like it came from a prepackaged container. To me it's just food. Nothing really to write home about so to speak!

Chose El Jimador after reading reviews for local Mexican spots and we were pleasantly surprised. The exterior of the building left alot to be desired, as it sits in an old strip mall building, Valley Plaza. We are unsure what this area of town is like.. but there is a beauty supply store and a chinese resturant in the same strip mall. We ordered chorizo dip and a few Mexican beers to start. The chips, salsa and dip were excellent. Giant bowl of chorizo cheese dip for $6! Salsa was fresh and chips were the perfect thickness for dipping. Food portions were generous but was average in flavor for Americanized Mexican, definitely not authentically spiced. All in all, food was priced very reasonably and met our expectations.

Great place for a late afternoon lunch and very much reasonably priced. I had the Chicken Taco Salad and they must have used a whole chicken, the chicken was plentiful. Chips and salsa flow nonstop. Definitely one of my favorite places.

My friends and I went last night and the waiter brought our checks before we were done with our food and drinks. After that he never came back and checked on us. We decided we wanted another drink so we had to track down him to order it. Once we ordered it he adjusted or amount or our checks and asked for us to pay. This is over a hour before they close. We felt like we were rushed out. They even started flicking the lights out on us 30 minutes before closing. Then they proceeded to turn the lights COMPLETELY OUT. I don’t think i will ever be going back. They were so rude and they clearing didn’t care about our service.

the ground beef in the tacos was watery. The peach margarita was actually good on the rocks with Jose cuervo. the frozen ice cream fried tortilla tasted stale. There were soggy corn flakes all throughout the ice cream. It was busy and our waiter had too many tables to wait on. I had heard so much about this place and was very disappointed.
