Very clean, spacious and relaxed atmosphere. The portions we're gracious, including the beverages. I had the #55 Steak Quesadilla with a side of refried beans and cheese. Everything's was seasoned well. Very flavorful. We will be going again.

The food is mediocre at best. flavor fell flat, especially the rice, bland and dry. and the protein is over cooked and chewy. but it is cheap. The service is lacking. Either they hover and annoy the hell out of you or when you actually need something there's no one there and trying to flag them down is a pain in the butt. Also the last 3 times I have been there we were put at a booth under this cactus that is just covered in cobwebs, so much so I expect a torrent of spiders to come cover the tables, I've pointed this out 3 times now and it still hasn't been clean. If that's in the dining room I'd be terrified to see what their kitchen looks like. Really I think 2 stars is very generous. I only go there with one friend who likes it. Personally monte alban #3 has better tasting food and better atmosphere the just cost a bit more

We have been going here for years. It is always clean and friendly people.
The food is always fresh hot . Even when I pick up to take home it's great.
This is our #1 pick for mexican food.

The overall atmosphere was enjoyable. It was a family friendly yet young adult compatible environment. The immediate welcome and service with a smile and warm intentions set the tone for an enjoyable experience. The food is prepared quickly and is good. It may not be the highest end but good none the less. Would definitely recommend to others.

This is the best Mexican food east of the Mississippi. Legitimately worth driving a hour or so out of the way. I cannot say enough about how fantastic the service, food, and overall restaurant appearance was.

Salsa had a weird texture, food needed and qeuso, the waiter never refilled our chips, and it had a decent atmosphere. Overall probably whouldnt eat here again.

I visited this restaurant in Lanett Alabama with my family, a party of about 15 people. The restaurant is spacious so they were able to easily able to accommodate us on a walk in. It's just not a fancy place which adds to the charm. It seems to be family run and everybody there is friendly and cordial very attentive to great service. The chips and salsa keeps coming just for the asking. I ordered the vegetarian Fajita and it is just the way I like it, hot, the veggies crispy and almost more than I could eat. If you are in the Lanett area you would do yourself a favor eating there.

I’m not sure if they have new owners or what, but we were served a cheese dip that was so watery last night it was ridiculous. We asked the server about it several times, had eaten less than 10% of it and asked for it to be taken off the bill. We were harassed and treated very poorly by management when we approached them about it. I’ve been eating at this location for six years, but after last night I won’t go back. Such a shame.

This place is HORRIBLE. Me and my family arrived (party of 8) and told the hostess how many was with us, she took us to a booth and I explained to her that wouldn’t be enough room for 8. Her attitude was horrible about the situation to the point she was forcing us to sit in a booth with 8 people. We left and will not ever return to this restaurant with all the racist employees!)

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. One of our weekly favorites. Everything on the menu is good. My favorite is #101 with chicken and steak add jalapeños. You won’t regret it. My wife loves their fajitas el Rio.

We went after bowling, the food was on point! Hot , and down right delicious, the owner didn't sit in an office, he was constantly walking around ensuring staff was on top of everything, only issue was drink machine was down, possibly due to the storm, but did have cold 20 Oz. Coke products available, prices are very reasonable, I would suggest trying them out!

Food was pretty good. I had the Rio fajitas with the steak, chicken, and shrimp. Wife had the chicken quesadilla. Portions were big. I couldn't eat all of the fajitas. Cheese dip and chips were great.

Not even going to waste my time filling out the other stars. When this place can start getting my order right then perhaps I will revisit this review. How hard it is to get simple things right about an order is beyond me. Soft shell tacos are exactly that not the hard shell that falls apart when I try to eat it. Not to mention the previous mess-ups on takeout orders. This place needs to become more consistent with getting my order right.

Had a very racist experience here. The owner does not care for African American people. He was very rude and as i was standing right in front of him at the register he told several white customers to come in front of me (at least 10 different customers that were not in the same party) then when he finally addressed me he told me he wasn’t going to fix my food that was prepared wrong unless I paid for it. I’ll never eat there again but I will say the restaurant is the most up to date aesthetically in the valley/Lanett area so if that’s most important to you then you may wanna eat here. Also the food isn’t good to me either. I’ve eaten here about 3 times over the span of about 10 years and I’ve usually only chosen them because of convenience (closest to where I was living) or because someone else was having a dinner there. They aren’t anything special that I’d choose because I really want their food.

The white waitress was one of the rudest I've had in over 83 years. She was disrespectful, did not refill drinks, when ask for more napkins she provided 3 the number in our group, and then told us we couldn't have more than 3 carry out dishes. She then accused my daughter in law whose 57th birthday was yesterday of hiding a drink and told her to empty the glass! My daughter in law drank all of the drink and told her to keep the empty cup! I have always loved this restaurant and have told others to go there, the Mexican staff have always been polite and quick, however this white mean waitress was slow, rude, slamming food on the table, and just plain nasty! I won't be going back!

This place will be your favorite Mexican restaurant and they always keep your glasses filled up and the food is fresh and hot so be careful the plates are very hot and the food is very good and when I'm in the area I always stop by and eat and they are always open even on weekends.

Chips and salsa half way through the mill and my NSA security clearance was not deemed worthy of their public Wi-Fi password.

Although I do compliment them on a lax Wi-Fi security to gain access when you need to access on your own.
