Update: I'm dropping back in to say you can't go wrong with this place! Today, I had a steak taco salad and requested chorizo to be added, and holy smokes, it is the best taco salad I've ever had. The salsa is always great, not too spicy and not too bland. My kids approve! Give this place a shot!

Food is served quickly, and it is always good. This place has my favorite salsa! Servers are always friendly and prompt. Great spot heading out of the Baldwin County towards I10 on 59, just after Loxley on the right

My husband and I had to dinner here. The waitress recommended the special margarita. I had one and had decided I wanted more salsa and drinks to finish the large margarita I had. My husband asked the waitress for a second serving of salsa and chips. The waitress brought us a Togo box and Togo bowl. We then asked her again and she stated the price for the salsa. We only wanted a serving to finish our beverages. She assumed we wanted a free salsa and chips Togo. This is waitress was very judgemental. NOTE: THEY ONLY WANT YPU TO HAVE ONE SERVING OF CHIPS AND SALSA HERE!. we removed our tip. Left the salsa and chips there! We NEVER WANTED ANYTHING FOR FREE!!.

Best place around for Mexican food. We had the seafood enchiladas, seafood burrito, shrimp chimichanga and chicken tacos. The free chips and salsa were very good too! Had a late lunch, early dinner and was the perfect time for our party of 4 +1 baby.

We met friends here. The waitress was non existant. The food was no better than taco bell. The rice was terrible, ibe had rice a roni mexican rice that was better. The white cheese dip was so thick u could cut it. I will eat waffle house close by before I eat here again.

My family and I love this place! The food and drinks are fantastic!! Service was prompt for being a little busy and everyone is friendly. The seafood enchiladas (pictured here along with the hot and spicy burrito) is my absolute favorite dish! My son and I split it and still had lunch today from the leftovers! Get it if you haven't, it a must try!

Average Mexican eats is best way to describe this. Almost a corny style of decor, but staff was very friendly and fast. Nothing bad to say, but aside from our waitress, nothing great to say either.

The idiot guys in the place couldn't keep their eyes off my wife. The food wasn't good and didn't even get the order right because they couldn't keep them from staring. I will not be back and I would suggest no one else go there either.

Had fajitas they needed more spice and seasoning. Chili Relleno wasn’t good at all, soggy mess sauce was tomato red sauce. But served was king and good I was hoping she would come back so I could ask for salsa.

Food was very bland and minimal. The margaritas were tasty and refreshing though.. Service was decent, took a while to get our order taken, we were gunna get queso but by the time they took our order we just wanted food. I won’t say we won’t come back but there is no rush.

He got the chicken and bean nachos and I got the steak fajitas for one. I’m not sure how they do their refried beans but they tasted like water and powder. I’ve never been a fan of pile nachos and there was nothing special about these… fajitas were tough and flavorless. Edible but again not a favorite.

Awesome! Great entrees, chips, salsa, good service, great pricing. Love the chili con carne, as well as the tacos. Tostada was excellent, as well as flauta and quesadilla too. Beware-the mucho grande burrito is really what the name implies. We have eaten here a lot and never disappointed. Lunch portions are really large. This place has gotten crazy busy in the last few years. Parking can be tough. Closed on Sundays.

the first sign of a good mexican place?: full parking lot at 130 in the afternoon. second sign of a good mexican place: 8 mexican cement workers at the big table as you walk in. third sign of a great mexican place: nasty bathrooms. it had all the signs of a great mexican place. but it wasnt

i ordered texas fajita nachos. how could you mess that up? heres how: pile old overcooked meat and onions on a pile of thick hard chips soaked in what used to be cheese but now is only cheese grease. serve. what you end up with is every shade of brown and just one flavor.

my wife, a texas girl who knows here way around a chimichanga, got the enchilada plate. what came out was an honest to god exact recreation of the photo on the 1977 menu photo from el fenix. and the accompanying taste.

My friends and I went to National Margarita day. The table was leaning very badly. The concrete goes down a lot. I know it's for flooding issues. Plus, wobbled. The service was not the best. The margaritas were not frozen. Barely cold. No salt on on glass. This is the 1st time I've been this disappointed. At the time we were there. It wasn't that busy.

We went once a few months ago...my husband liked his food but I did not...finally he got me to go back again today and this time we were in agreement...this place is not for us. I have tried the chicken tacos and the bean burrito and he liked the enchiladas but not the tameles.

Choriqueso dip and salsa were unbelievably good. Enchiladas were excellent and my pork tamal was remarkable. Service was great (thanks, Jessica M) and the margaritas looked huge. Highly recommend! Worth the short detour of I10.
