Casa Blanca Mexican Restaurant

I fell in love first time inside... Took my lunch here since it's basically next door and everything was great. Decor is simple but well done. The drinking bar looked pretty cool though I did not make use of it. The food was excellent as was the service. I will be going back at some point in the near future. Check it out, y'all!!

Went out with the familia to get some Mexican food. It was quiet and inviting. The staff was super friendly and seated us quickly. The server was prompt and friendly and got our drinks and immediately took our orders for dinner.
The margarita was cold and delicious and the chips and salsa helped tide us over. I suggest ordering one of the combo platters. I had the number 1, which is a taco and 2 enchiladas with rice. Food came out super quick and was hot and fresh. I have to say I was really impressed and would definitely come back and would suggest even if you want to do an order to go.
It's a great spot to go if you want a more laid back atmosphere and the food will speak for itself.

Visited here for the first time on Saturday around 5:30pm. There were quite a few diners, but no wait time. We were promptly seated and provided chips and salsa. Enjoyed the salsa, but didn't care for the chips. They were dark, overcooked.

The Don Cruz burrito is huge and awesome. I'm tempted to get it again next time, though I know I should explore the menu.

I grew up going to Casa Blanca and have countless memories spent with family and friends at these tables. Every year, this was the restaurant we had my birthday dinner at. We went here after games whether or not our team won or lost. Any special occasion meant dinner at Casa Blanca. Sometimes my mom would take me just because, sometimes my dad would. When I finally got old enough to drive, I took my friends here at least once a week so we could gossip over cheese dip. When my dad passed away, this was somewhere I could return to and think about him and all the good he had done for me. I’ve moved about 4 hours away now so I don’t get to eat here often, but when I am in town, this is always the first stop. Thank you for a lifetime of comfort food and memories.

Both times with the family.
Both times service and food was good, even better and more flavorful.

We went to the hwy72 location in Madison around 2pm. At first I was like WHOA!! these prices are crazy. I order the El Galan and then I was like WOW!!! I'm never going to finish all of this!! It was way more then what I expected and definitely worth every penny. So come hungry! I can't remember the drink I had but, OOOH MY!!! it was gooooooood!!! 😀 friendly server, great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

The food prices have gone up so much at this location. My last visit, the beans and rice were lukewarm and a meal without a drink cost almost $20 without the tip. I won’t be coming back often with those conditions. This used to be one of my regular restaurants.

Food is great. Prices are insane. Ask for sour cream? $2.50. All meals close to $20 so you’re better off splitting a meal.

It's a great place to eat. Outstanding food, very fast to the table, and the staff make sure everything is great. Very reasonable priced. Skip the glitter on 72 and take the side road. You will not be disappointed. Come hungry, and you will walk away fat and happy. The Don Cruz is my personal favorite.

My son took me here for Mother’s Day dinner. The atmosphere was nice. I actually loved everything about the restaurant. We were seated immediately and the server was super attentive and friendly. I had the Super Chimichanga and my son had the deluxe quesadilla. The portions are huge, definitely worth the price. The was seasoned to perfection and I had a raspberry margarita that was delicious. We will definitely be back. It’s my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Huntsville!

My family loves to try out different Mexican spots and this is by far the best. Great seasoning on the rice and meat. They also have huge portions. Nobody was able to finish their plate. Staff was very friendly and kept out drinks full.

This restaurant had literally the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. Our server was amazing, service (including food prep) was tremendously fast, and the decor is really nice. 10/10, will definitely be one of our regular spots moving forward! ♥

I ordered the chorizo and eggs very Bland more eggs than chorizo, my son ordered the chicken nachos again very Bland three maybe four pieces of chicken more nachos than anything extremely pricey for two lunch meals, service was poor had to constantly get service attention for something to drink. Maybe they'll do better next time

The food is consistantly good at this Casa Blanca. The service was great. The food is pretty pricey and on this instance of dining there was a large party with young loud children zipping around the restaurant.

Worst quesadilla I ever had! Grilled chicken in a tortilla, with one tiny speck of cheese, which I had to really hunt for. Chicken was dry, tortilla was dry, no sour cream was served. I told our waiter that it was horrible, and he asked me if I wanted a to-go box. When I said, no, it was terrible, he said nothing and just walked away. He did not notify the manager of a customer complaint, he did not ask me if I wanted something else, he did not offer to take it off the bill, he did not do anything. Another person in our party ordered a shrimp quesadilla, and he brought her a chicken quesadilla. I will NOT be coming back.

Perhaps they are having supply chain issues but our last visits have been terrible. The chicken was poor quality and although we ordered a burrito it was made with the ingredients of a fajita. For people that don't like large chunks of onion or green peppers, this is not a good thing. Just poor quality at this point, but hopefully they can fix it.

One of my worst dining experience. I ordered a steak taco. The steak was over cooked with too much seasoning. The food was very salty and I now have a headache. The waitress seemed to be the only waitress for the restaurant that was 10% full who we hardly saw. The food took well over an hour to deliver 1 of 6 meals and another 10 mins per meal to be delivered. then we waited over 30 minutes to get the check.

This is by far the most disgusting restaurant I have been to in all of Madison. The restaurant was using a portacool fan indoors, mold was present in multiple places and it smelled like mildew. The queso con carne was clearly made with 95% water and completely inedible. I’m not sure how this restaurant is in business or passed a health inspection.

A definite step up over the typical family style Mexican restaurant but without getting into the "trendy" territory. Great service and I really enjoyed my food. Margaritas we're very good. Need to fix their sign though, it looks dumpy from outside but inside is quite nice. Very clean.

I’ve been to this restaurant a lot over the years and always loved it but I haven’t been there probably since Covid started. Last night I decided to order something from the menu and bring home for me and my daughter. For some reason the meal had a fishy smell to it. I had ordered fajitas Conzumel and I realized that the smell was coming from the sour cream. Unfortunately I’d put everything in the one take away dish on top of the chicken making the whole meal fishy . I scraped away as much sour cream as I could and ended up picking out the chicken and binned the rest. My daughter had the chicken Taco Salad luckily she doesn’t like sour cream so I told them to not add it on her plate because otherwise that would have been ruined as well. I think I spent roughly $43 with the add ons and it was the worse meal I’ve had in a long time. I wouldn’t normally complain but it was absolutely revolting . I’m sad to say I’ve always considered this place the best Mexican in Madison but after what they dished up last night I’m a little hesitant to go back.

This restaurant is very surprising, kind of like a best kept little secret.
The area is in a mostly abandoned strip mall, and not fancy At All.
However, once you get there, you see cars parked in front of this restaurant.
Once you get inside you will see "regulars" happily eating their favorite items on the menu.
Food options on the menu are the typical Mexican restaurant choices.
Their seemed to be a lot of confusion on the waiters part bringing other people's food to our table 2 or 3 times, but, once OUR Food got there, it was very tasty.
If you live in that area, you may want to add it to your places to eat at regularly list 🌮 🌯 🌮 🍺 🍻

I had the chicken nachos on my latest visit. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture of them. I am glad that I have finally found a place that doesn't hold back on the toppings. There wasn't a naked nacho in the bunch! The chicken was tender, juicy and well seasoned.

My mother and I went to this restaurant at noon on 11/17/2021. My mom is on oxygen and has difficulty walking around and sometimes gets confused.
I was extremely happy and impressed with our waiters professionalism and empathetic nature/accommodation towards my mothers special needs.
We are not wealthy and planned for this day of eating out for over a week. She has COPD, stamina problems, and sometimes confusion (which sometimes makes people upset toward her). Luckily, she has me to protect her with everything I am.
The only issue we had was that we spent near 50$ During lunch hour. The price may have been so high due to the 2 giant margaritas my mother enjoyed very much.
All in all, I was happy to see my mother so happy at this restaurant. I love her so much and when I see her happy, it fills me with warmth, joy, and love.
