I was not expecting this place to be so good! The service was great and the food was flavorful and affordable! I loved my chimichanga plate and the fact that they give you 2 instead of 1. The edges were crispy and the inside was soft, cheesy and chicken was juicy and actually had some flavor! The only thing I’d change is our rice was a little dry. But everything else was great, and I’d definitely come back. Open later than all the other ones too.

Had dinner with some family at this restaurant yesterday and had the worst experience. Not only was our food disgusting we got the most simple things i would say off the menu (2 chicken and rices, and a singular chicken quesadilla) plus we had 2 orders of sweet tea, and margarita with a large side of cheese dip. Not only was our bill with 3 meals on it $85? which the quesadilla wasn't a meal it was ordered by itself. the large queso alone was $16! and when we asked about why it was so expensive since the menu has a different price for the large queso, they told us the charged up for chips and the extra chips? which correct if i'm wrong chips when dining in are free? They also charged us for 2 refills on the sweet tea when we only got one? which WE DIDNT ask for which in the end was $6 worth of tea? (i could buy a gallon of tea for that price)! i would seriously never recommend this place. Not only again, was the food disgusting but for that price i would just go to a 5 restaurant!!!? We got way too many great mexican restaurants for them to be charging that much for mediocre food like that!

Excellent dinner! We got the giant margaritas that were delicious but $$ everyone’s dinner was delicious. The flavors were great and not out of a can! Service was wonderful! Chile Colorado, Cameron’s Mexicali, chocolate cake and flan! Delicious!

This establishment is a nice place to eat authentic Mexican food. It offers a wide variety of options. Their chips and salsa to start you off are very tasty. The food comes out pretty quickly and always hot and fresh. The servers are very nice.

I go for lunch… it’s pretty good and the prices are good. I did order fajitas for 1 the other day and I got 3 meats out of it so I was happy with that. Queso is overpriced but really good!

This restaurant has gone downhill. They have shrunk their portion sizes and raised their prices. Also, more than once, we have ordered to-go, arrived before our order was ready, and gone home to cold food that we had to reheat (we live about 4 mins away).

*Specifically, if you order choriqueso, you’ll pay almost $9 for a cold pan of about 1/2-3/4 cup of dip.

Los Arcos may not be the best of the Mexican restaurants in Madison, but it’s always warm, delicious, and decently priced. I see where others are saying it’s too expensive. I disagree considering rising food costs. The large cheese dip is $16.95. It is HUGE. Please consider that before you order it. I have never dined in, but this restaurant is always a reliable go to for when I’m craving Americanized Mexican food from door dash ;). I usually order enchiladas, rice, and beans. A medium cheese dip is more than plenty for a couple or a family of four (parents and two little ones).

Maybe it’s because I worked a long hard day in the hot humid Alabama sun… but this burrito California I’m currently eating is INSANE. SO GOOD. Best burrito I’ve had in a LOOOONG time. Pairs well with the modelo. Also the wait staff, is very welcoming and nice. Also they are the only place that’s open until a reasonable hour on a week day. Most places close at 9, but these guys are taking in the stragglers with open arms. I had a very nice time eating here :)

My first visit here, it’s apparent the owners take pride in this restaurant. The food was made fresh to order (time/heat/taste apparent), the decor was custom, new, extra padded, and they even had a live singer. It’s small, informal, and high quality. I expect it will take off!

We were very impressed! The food was delicious! Very quick and efficient service. Mexican is my go to food and I have to say this is the best I have ever had. I love mexican rice and theirs is outstanding! We had the Coctel De Camaron, mexican cocktail, and it was very good. I never eat all my food, this time I did for sure! The cost is also very reasonable. I'll just say, you won't be disappointed if you eat here! 5 stars for sure!

Los Arcos sirve buena comida sabrosa pero no tiene ningún factor de sorpresa. Lo que más me molesto de este lugar fue que te cobran cinco centavos hasta la muerte. Yo quería una salsa más picante y te cobraran $1.75 extra. La mayoría de los restaurantes mexicanos, si no todos, te traen esta salsa extra picante gratis. Los frijoles con mi almuerzo no eran más que jugo de frijoles con quizás 5 o 6 trozos de frijol. Cuando les conté sobre esto, amablemente trajeron una orden de más jugo de frijoles y también me cobraron $1.75 adicionales. Maldita sea, si tienes tanta falta de dinero, incorpora esos costos a la comida. La pechuga de pollo que comí debió provenir de un pollo enano dado su pequeño tamaño. Estaba cubierto aunque con cebollas, tomates y champiñones en una salsa sabrosa. Personalmente, no creo que este lugar esté entre los 25 mejores restaurantes mexicanos que no pertenecen a cadenas en el área de Huntsville/Madison. No creo que yo vuelva. Esta es una vez hecha para mí. Sus resultados pueden variar.

Los Arcos serves good tasty food but has zero WOW factor. What pissed me off the most about this place was that they nickel and dime you to death. I wanted a hotter sauce they charged and extra $1.75 cents. Most is not all Mexican restaurants bring this extra hot sauce free. The beans with my lunch was nothing more then bean juice with maybe 5 or 6 pieces of bean. When I told them about it, they graciously brought out a side dish of more bean juice and charged me an additional $1.75 as well. Damn if you are so hard up for money build those costs into the meal. The chicken breast that I had must have come from a midget chicken given it’s small size. It was covered albeit with onions, tomatoes and mushrooms in a tasty sauce. I personally do not thing this place is in the top 25 Mexican non chain restaurants in the Huntsville/Madison area. I do not think I will be back. This is a once and done for me. Your results may vary.

My fiancé just went tonight to place a to go order and he came with my food and his. And literally his food was amazing!! His to go dish was PILED and filled to the brim with food. He got the loco nachos. I however, got the pechuga con chorizo. And I literally had not even a cup of rice on the side. My fries were wet and soggy. And my entree? Man. There was barely any food in my dish to begin with which is crazy cause my food cost more than my fiancés. My chorizo was burned. My chicken wasn’t even cut up. And I didn’t have any cheese sauce. I was highly disappointed. Will not be eating here again.

Would not recommend. Was not busy at all and they didn’t come back to check on us after we ordered. Water sat empty for quite a while, they brought out my wife’s food 10 minutes before mine then when mine did arrive they only brought half of it. The only thing that was half way decent was the chips and salsa. Even the margarita was all syrup and tasted gross. Couldn’t even drink half of it.

The food in the restaurant was OKI set in a bar that was uncomfortable. The service was really good for the ladies. Just know just that the servers paid a lot of attention to the ladies. One shot was bigger than the other I got two shots. I brought it to the bartender's attention, He asked me if I wanted to filed I just looked at them and changed my mind on the shot. But I will say, each shot was $9 a piece. Evebthough I said its ok, instead of asking me he should have just changed it.

Los arcos has the BEST stuffed peppers and really great nachos. I suggest trying multiple dishes here - some of my usual go-tos weren’t my favorite here, but once I stepped outside of that box and started getting things I don’t normally order, I found some of my favorite Los Arcos dishes. We get food from Los Arcos regularly. Definitely recommend.

This place was great, not as decorated as other places I have been, but a very inviting atmosphere. The server started out with a joke almost immediately upon taking our order. That won me over on service and he was a good server the rest out the time we were there. The food was great, I could actually find the burrito. It was a generous size compared to other places I have been in this area. This was my first time, so I will update after second visit. Overall, this place could be overlooked easy in location and reviews, but that would be a mistake I recommend trying Los Arcos

First, our waiter was good. He definitely needs to find a job at another restaurant where he can serve good food. The atmosphere was blah. Most Mexican restaurants I've been to are pretty awesome inside, cultural music, decor, etc. This place was pretty boring. The food. Good grief. It was more bland than if i got tortillas, refried beans, etc at the dollar store. I'm so surprised that this restaurant is still opened and people are still paying to eat food like this. Weird.

I stopped in this restaurant around 12:00 p.m. for lunch. The restaurant was clean and the air conditioner cooled the restaurant nicely. I was greeted and seated in less than 3 minutes. Tortilla chips and delicious homemade salsa was brought to the table before I ordered. I looked the menu over and was surprised to see pricing similar to what we saw before covid 19. I decided to go with Lunch Special, #4, for $7.50. It included a chile relleno, beef taco refried beans and guacamole. I also ordered a glass of sweet tea and lemon and the tea was fresh. The food was the best Mexican food I've had in this area. My total bill with taxes was $11.11. Very affordable and delicious. I will most definitely be back.

Never had worse Mexican food in my life,the beans where brightbrown and watery, I ordered the shrimp fajitas, again never have I had fajitas come out without sizzling:0 They tasted like old shoes. The staff didn't care only said sorry and came with the check and said that's all they can do. Never again.

Los Arcos' food isn't anything special. It is pretty basic Mexican food. Where they shine is their service, particularly at lunch. Our food was ready about 5 minutes after ordering and it was hot. Nachos didn't have tons of flavor but for $9 I wasn't expecting it. Restaurant seemed clean. Menu was decent size. Would eat here again if I want a quick lunch.

I paid $25 for a medium cheese dip, 2 small chips, and a shrimp chimichanga meal. The beans tasted expired. The cheese dip was extra watery. Fairly disappointing meal. To top it all off I found need in my shrimp chimichanga.

Started out great. Friendly staff. When food came I had to find napkins. Toquitoes were greasy, fried in old grease and soggy on the bottom. I ate the ingredients on the inside. Didn't get refill until ready to leave, then server switched out my bill for a higher one. Charged extra for sour cream I requested instead of guacamole. I paid with cash and was shorted $3.00. I didn't complain, didn't say anything about wrong change or the soggy food. I won't go back or recommend.

I really hate to leave bad reviews. Stuff happens sometimes we are not perfect we make mistakes. I went last night to eat with my family. I woke up the next morning sick as a dog. I received food posion from this place. Another people complaining as well about their food not being cook well
