Food was good. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are huge. The menu is also huge. So many options. The fajitas are really good. The birria tacos had a unique smoky flavor, I liked it. Service was fast and polite. The restaurant decor is pretty cool. Overall, a nice place to grab some food without spending a lot of money.

This place is incredible. This has to be one of Mobiles best kept secrets, I have never in my life had better and more authentic Hispanic food. Everything in this place is cooked perfectly and tastes so so good. The atmosphere is amazing and feels very welcoming. The staff is always super nice and helpful, the menu makes sense, and the prices are phenomenal. After eating here I will never be going to a Mexican food establishment besides this one. If you haven’t eaten here yet you have to. The nachos are incredible as an appetizer, and you can’t go wrong with fajitas but it doesn’t matter what you get because it will not disappoint. The first time I went I ordered a Horchata not sure what tie spect and by the end of the night I had ordered three of them.

The steak street tacos were absolutely amazing tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fresh cilantro, onions, and lime made each bite perfect. In addition to the mouthwatering tacos, the rest of the menu was equally impressive. I also tried their guacamole, which was fresh and creamy. The margaritas were the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. The tortillas were soft and perfectly complemented the savory filling.

Beyond delicious! This is my second time visiting this restaurant in one week. The customer service is excellent. Food is fresh and well seasoned. The margaritas are strong enough to give you a buzz but allow you to still function lol. Definitely not my last time returning!

Great food and service. Greeted and waited on quickly. Chips and salsa were complementary. We had a party of nine and everyone loved the food. They are located close to the University of South Alabama. We've been there twice lately and I got the tacos mexicanos both times with corn tortillas.

I entered to pick up my order. First time going to this establishment the hostess made eye contact with me 3 times and walked pass me twice said nothing. I was the only one of color in the restaurant.
So I stopped a waitress and ask for assistance he gave me my order then the hostess want to stop him saying the cheese wasn't in there.
But never said anything to me.
So I will NEVER

Give them coins.

As a frequent visitor of this establishment, I really feel like the food and service have gone downhill. I thought maybe we kept catching them on an "off" night, but after several disappointing visits, it's time for a review. The latest visit included cold, chunky cheese dip (parts of cheese wasn't melted), cold food, forgotten items, bad drinks, inattentive service, and an overall unpleasant experience.

IDK what the people on these reviews had but ABSOLUTELY NOT. I don't understand how a so called authentic Mexican spot has zero seasoning on they food. Ordered birria tacos, no spice, no seasoning and the half full cup of console they give was surprisingly not enough to bring this bland dish to life. Meat def not marianated. Also ordered a steak quesadillia, again nothing. Maybe a pinch of salt. I should've realized the majority of people in there are the typical people who don't know seasoning outside a pinch of salt & sprinkle of pepper. Got a burrito and the chicken inside simply grilled, bland as ever which tells me if all 3 dishes have the same issue, it's not their practice. Nice portions, nice prices but unfortunately the food is severely lacking.

I have been to Agave many times and it never disappoints. The food comes out quickly and all tastes delicious. Servers are attentive and friendly. My favorite dish is the El Combo. The cheese dip on top is 🔥

Good prices and plenty of food. Taco Tuesday has $1.50 taco's. Queso is really good. lunch menu has large portions and is serve 7 day a week 11am-3pm!! Lorenzo is the best authentic mexican cook in Alabama. Ask for Lipika, she will give you Great Customer Service with a Beautiful Smile!! RTR

The Bistec A La Mexicana was very good. Rice and beans could use a bit more flavor and the steak had maybe 2 small pieces of gristle across the whole plate but I’m not complaining. Excited to try more of the menu.

Bunch of college students, so it's a weird atmosphere but they can't help that. Food is normal. Service is bad. We keep getting sat with a guy who always tends to other tables. We may see him twice, once for orders and once for checks. Sometimes, we have to ask other workers to bring us things. We can't tip on these conditions. Music is hardly ever Hispanic. It's just random, lol. Margs are great. I only continue to come back because of their prices.

Went with some coworkers for lunch. I got the Texas Fajitas, and they didn't disappoint as it was very good. I don't recall seeing it on the menu but when they brought it out they used a little alcohol or something on it and literally lit it on fire! No need in mentioning that the plate was hot! Service was prompt and the food came out fairly quickly once we ordered. I will definitely be going back again.

Affordable Mexican food that is good. I sampled the beef nacho, chimichanga, and fajita nacho. Every meal was delicious and reasonably priced. Although they didn't supply enough cheese in the nachos and the cheese dip was a touch too thick, I didn't like it. I'll return to sample more because the cuisine is delicious. I visited on a Saturday and found it to be uncrowded and welcoming.

This place has the best Mexican food in mobile. There's also lots of off menu stuff. I got crawfish enchiladas and they were the perfect amount is spicy for me. Enough to bathe me go oof spicy but not so spicy that I didn't want to eat it. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food.

The atmosphere is great and the staff is incredibly helpful. Went for my birthday and had a group of about 20, they sat us right down and worked their butts off for us. The food was pretty good. I love the crawfish fajitas! This restaurant is probably the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at.

Ordered the chicken soup (I am a soup lover even in 100 degree weather) , came with a side of rice, it was absolutely amazing! very savory with fresh Pico and guacamole on top, even my 5 yr old enjoyed it. also ordered a beef taco, cilantro and onions of course! and the beef was so tender and flavorful, my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Mobile!

Very bland and overcooked. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas and the shrimp were like bullets and the enchilada sauce may have been Campbells tomato soup. Restaurant was too hot and they were playing loud "party" music for lunch on a Sunday.
