What a awesome little place!! Literally right across the road from our hotel. Beautiful ambience and our host, Dillon, did a perfect job of waiting on my wife and I...I had the MUSHROOM fajita which was fabulous and a Crazy Limonada to drink... Y'all gotta try this place...I think you will love it... If you do, please give me a like😁

1st time here..seen a few of them around ...food is quality. Service was good. Outside seating(which is my preference) was closed but looked amazing. Place appeared clean and well maintained. Very convenient to my hotel. Staff seemed nice and well mannered...more than I can say for the ladies seated in front of me...they complained(more like gossiped) about everything and everybody...people at work..home..kids...then the food..drinks..blah blah blah..however the staff that took care of them did with a smile and brought them all they asked for...including 5 different mixed drinks that they complained about...So HUGE PROPS TO THE STAFF..

Husband and I go here at least 3 times a week! Never have a problem with service and the food is good. We are well known and get treated like family. The servers are very attentive, especially Angel. She remembers our beverages and knows that I like extra salsa, so I don’t even have to ask her. She just brings it out. Love the morale and attention they bring to their customers.

We chose to have my daughter's birthday party there. The food was so good. The service was awesome at first, but as it went on, lacked a bit. All in all my baby was fine with it, but the miscommunication with the checks, and my baby wasn't even offered the complimentary dessert that I had to ask for in the end was not cool. Seeing that other 2 parties already had theirs.

At the risk of sounding like an old western novel. On a cold January night Azteca was just what a weary traveler needed. Thee food was hot, and tasty. I had the 5 carne asada street tacos (yummy) and the wife had Victoria's bowl. We both enjoyed our meal. The waitress was great, the restaurant was clean. And the prices were fantastic.

We're probably spoiled living in Houston where really good Mexican restaurants can be found every few miles, but I would say this restaurant is good, but but great. Nothing was bad but nothing was amazing. We had the beef and chicken fajitas which were decent but nothing to write time about. The service though was excellent and really enjoyed all of the staff.

Steak quesadilla was essentially a taco but all the cheese was dumped in the bottom and then steak on the top. We ordered guacamole and were given puréed avocado. Black beans were served cold. Server was nice and fast but food was incredibly disappointing.

Food, service and atmosphere are always great at this location. It's a busy location, to be sure, because of this. Sometimes they are out of something I want to eat but their entire menu is delicious. I love the fish fajitas, my favorite.

What a find. Being Mexican-Americans, my wife and I are always unsure of trying Mexican restaurants in the south.

When we pulled in the parking lot looked pretty full so we assumed the restaurant was really busy, not so much! The place it’s self is huge so there were a few tables but not nearly as busy as we thought. We wanted margaritas so we asked for the menu…..seriously $16 for a margarita in mobile AL? Am I still in Vegas??? Ice Tea please! Ordered a salad with fajita style veg and wanted to add grilled chicken, the server said it’s a vegetarian salad I don’t think you’re allowed to do that? REALLY??? She said she would have to ask. I got the chicken! My biggest pet peeve at a restaurant is our server or any server walking by our table and not taking out empty plates away. 4 times …..but you had time to go grab my bill when you saw the credit card on the table, set it down and still not take my plates away? Brings the card back with the bill and a pen to leave a big tip and still leaves the dirty plates sitting in front of us! lol we live in a mediocre world. I can’t not tip, personally I wouldn’t do that. I left her 18% but will not go back.

Well here recently I was wrongfully evicted with no warning due to my roommates new habit .Secondly my truck was stolen.while I was moving around town hoping to spot my truck I got so hungry that I called aztecas and told them my situation. Wasn't 30 minutes later the manager and a sweet waitress approached me concerned brought me a full meal and a drink .I wish I could remember there names but I was so hungry I didnt.so God bless and these are good people and the food was great .thank yall so much because there are so many in this town that don't care that when someone legitimately needs help that the others has ruined it with there ways .I was close to giving up .I called every restaurant in tillmans corner and was pretty much hung up on .so if you want to go out to eat and give your money to someone who deserves it .I promise they do so God bless and thank you again.

I was on vacation and we decided to celebrate a birthday here.
The food was fantastic!! The service was great, too.
I'm not sure I agree with how close the tables were to the booths. It made it a bit of a struggle to expect people to rearrange their seats to accommodate walk throughs.

Passing thru from Florida to Texas stayed at Hampton Inn. I asked the front desk for recommendations on good food and margaritas. The restauramt was convenient, food delicious , margaritas fabulous. We sat and ate at the bar- Austin was fantastic and took good care of us.

Wow very impressed wasn’t expecting much but it was a great experience. Monica meet me at the door showed me to my table took my drink order and food order and checked on me from start to finish. Food was served hot and fast. Was on par with what I have had in Mexico and Texas. Monica if you’re reading this thinks for the great service!

Talk about a rare, rare unexpected treat.... My truck broke down so I was stuck in town for a couple days.

Noticed every night strong traffic at the Aztecas so,,, gave her a try.

Wonderful atmosphere and superior staff. Happy as a lone dinner I was given a proper table and not pushed and forgotten to the back...

Quick service and friendly. Started my trip to Mexico with a strawberry margarita that a triumph of ice , fruit and tequila. Refreshed me from top to bottom and I knew this was going to be good.

I ordered the San Miguel platter and I'll offer this, any foody or super picky person,,, if you don't find this one of the most delightful Mexican culinary experiences, Rate my review as Zero

The most wonderful Mexican dinner i have ever had,,,, and as a retired airline pilot, I've had them all.

Dont waste your time in Cancun because this food is not there. You'd have to go to an upscale restaurant in Mecico city to get get something on par.

For yall everyday folk like me, means enjoy the first class salsa,, but don't rush it. I ended my dinner with little used , the dinner needed no help and was just wonderful as is.

5 stars all day long....

The bartender Austin was the nicest person we have came across for more than 1100 miles. We are from Southern Texas where hospitality runs deep and we yet to find it along ours travels until this stop. Austin is worth every penny. He has made our night turn completely from "we are over this whole trip," to " this was a good night." Thank you Austin if you see this and you deserve a raise .

We stopped in as we were passing through Alabama and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was pretty busy but we were still seated pretty quickly and our server was very attentive (I can't remember her name but she was young and was wearing glasses). I ordered the burrito loco and chose grilled chicken as my protein. It comes with rice and black beans in the burrito as well as a guacamole salad and pico de Gallo on the side. That burrito was HUGE and definitely worth the price. It was very delicious and it tasted fresh which I did appreciate. My partner got nachos that he said were good as well and our daughter ordered barbecue wings that were so big she couldn't finish them all so she took it to go. Our server made sure our glasses were always filled and made sure to check on us to see if we needed anything. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend going there for dinner.

My husband and I are in town for a seminar and had 30 minutes for lunch. This place is next door so we popped over and glad we did! We had the grilled chicken Victoria bowls and they were loaded with fresh ingredients! Anna, our server, is so kind and got us in and out with excellent fresh food. Thanks Anna!

I ordered barbacoa tacos and they tasted so gross that I sent it back for asada tacos. Only one taco had two tortillas and the cup of salsa they bought looked used. All The food was cold. Not authentic and just unsatisfactory, especially for the price.

I ordered the Lamb Tacos De Barbacoa. The food was not fresh. $23.95 to be irritated and ripped off. This place used to be alright, not sure what's the dilemma. Folks really need to grow conscience and decency when it comes to food service. I will never return!

I'm from Texas and I don't see many Mexican restaurants with this much Mexico feel. Food is more like what we call tex mex or cali Mex . Waitstaff was pleasant and prompt. Enjoyed my visit well done guys ,if I come back through her again this will be a top priority stop.

However, the food wasn't up to par and most of the 6 of our party ended up with the bubble guts... and not like after you normally have Mexican food either but... wow! My great niece actually barfed a few times throughout the rest of our day. Everything, but the food was great.

Could change the regatton and Shakira music to some Chalino sanches or Vicente Fernandes. Some dishes that are known to have tortillas included didn't come with tortillas. The camarones a la Diabla could look so much better. The ceviche not so good like they just grinded everything together. I think naming it an Aztec restaurant is really far fetched. Who plays pop in a Mexican restaurant.

Tillman's Corner was a stop on our travels. We arrived hungry & noticed Aztecas had great reviews and was right across the highway from where we were staying. What prompted our ordering from Aztecas was the street tacos. I had the Tacos El Pastor. Sorry...no pictures. 😁
If their to go food presentation looks this good all the time, can you imagine the beauty of the plate in the restaurant?!
Did I mention how good everything was?...well, take my word for it. They were absolutely DELICIOUS!!

The weather was perfect for sitting outside, though we accidentally picked the table under a speaker so we mostly vibed to the music and enjoyed our food instead of struggling to hear each other talk. I was surprised by the lack of meat-free options, but it wasn't a total loss. We ended up with plenty of good food at a decent price near our hotel, which is a win in my book.

Dined in during my lunch break. Ordered chicken chimichanga meal. Cut open my meal to bite, found 2 roaches in the chimichanga. I immediately got sick on my stomach. Alerted my waitress. She immediately began to grow a nervous smile on her face and I asked for the manager. A gentleman came over to ask me my problem. I showed him the roach and roach remnants of the first one I believe I actually ate. He said "I'm sorry" took the plate and walked away. The waitress asked me if I wanted another dish. "Side eye". I asked to be excused and went out to the parking lot to puke. Never going back. SN:Silverware can use a better cleaning besides the roaches. Will be calling health dept soon as they open Monday morning.

Customer service was the bare minimum. I paid $21 for 3 Beria tacos The meat was tough and lack seasoning. The chef surely skipped some steps in preparation. The bartender poured heavy, So my drink was good. but not heavy enough for Those tacos too hit like they were supposed to.

The blandest Mexican food I've ever tasted. The salsa was so bad I'd rather just eat the chips plain. The server rang in our son's food wrong and when it arrived at the table we asked about it. They said the only thing they would change is cutting it up and adding cheese sauce on top so we just kept it. So when he overcharged us for a kid's steak and fries and then we asked to have it changed the manager said no you already ate it. When we explained we had said this when the food first came out and would have just changed it if this was going to be the case, they played dumb and pretended we never said anything. It was appalling. Don't waste your time or money here.

Two stars because my husband food was hot. And yes, we do leave 18% tip

Carnitas were very dry almost like leftovers from the previous day the Azteca up the road on hwy 90 near Winn Dixie has always been excellent. When we told our waitress she just apologized and said "maybe next time they would be better" REALLY! No next time for carnitas at this location, sorry! Otherwise the margarita was very good, service was just okay. $60+ is an expensive lunch for 2 margaritas (small), a Speedy Gonzales, & Carnitas!!
