First time diner. The atmosphere is so fun. It’s a full sensory experience with all the colors, lively music surely a place for gathering. It was a busy night for the restaurant. We counted at least 5 large tables when we walked in. We added to it with our party of 12. For 2 hours we were there, we heard the birthday song 5x. It’s loud, however so fun as most of the diners were clapping with the servers to celebrate. The food was wonderful. I got the sampler which may have been one of the more pricier things on the menu and it was great! I needed something gluten free and this dish delivered and then some. It was enough for 2 people to share and we still had left over food. Service was wonderful. For a table of 12 our waitress was great, food came quickly and we even requested they turn a specific game on the big screen and they happily obliged. I cannot say enough about my first time experience here. I’m not from Mobile, but plan to eat here on my next visit. Thanks for a great evening.

This is sad, we were sitted with no menus! Then they finally came to take our order. True didn’t take long for food and service was ok but I think all waiters and waitresses took a lunch or even left the building! We sat for over 30 minutes waiting just for the ticket!!!
What made me really upset is while we were eating they were everywhere just standing at computer like they were a little gang of teenagers hanging out! This is ridiculous. And as I’m typing all this we still can not find anyone that works here!!!
I will never be back!!!

I had the absolute BEST experience at Aztecas in Mobile, all thanks to our incredible server, Emily! From the moment we sat down, Emily was sweet, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. I even nicknamed her "Bestie" because that’s exactly what she felt like – she treated us like close friends and made sure everything was perfect. Not only did she check in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, but she did it all with a genuine smile that made the experience so memorable.

And shoutout to her awesome manager, Krystina! She was equally fantastic, even going as far as charging my brother's phone for us. It’s rare to find such a warm, helpful, and accommodating team. Aztecas is lucky to have Emily and Krystina – they made our meal unforgettable. If you’re ever there, ask for Emily – she’s the best!

Had to give this review now . My son and his gf just went there, was seated and was brought there chips and sala. Well literally 25 min later and still no one has even came to take there drink order. My son's gf is pregnant and needed her water and my sons mouth was on fire from adding hot sauce to the salsa. They were not busy, and the waitresses were just standing there on there phones the whole time. They looked right at them and the waitress , never acknowledged them . Guess there phones were more important. They finally just walked out after over 30 min of waiting. We were actually otw in to have a birthday dinner,but plans have changed. !!

The restaurant is very nice. Its been years since we have eaten here. The service was good. It was just the food, wasnt good. No flavor or seasoning on the steak, no sauce or marinade on the Pastor, or pineapple for that matter. The sopes which my kids and I normally love were soft and soggy. Will try again but not with a big group maybe date night. Drinks were good.

The food was decent, however the service was horrible. The hostess was super sweet and got us to a table, but the server was gone majority of the time and we never got her name and she took $.61 out of our change when returning money. We were celebrating a birthday and towards the end we had to ask another server to find our server. It took almost 5 minutes till she came to the table. Afterward when paying, she proceeded to bring back $12.00 instead of the whole $12.61. We did still leave a tip however this is not okay in the food industry.

We don’t eat out a lot due to dietary restrictions, but decided to order Mexican through Uber eats as a Saturday night treat. We live way across town from the restaurant so it took around an hour to receive our order.

However, the food was amazing, especially for being delivery. Probably some of the best takeout I’ve ever had. Everything was packed well and everything we ordered was in the bag plus extra chips. It was so good I ate my entire entree. For people who eat with restrictions and don’t splurge often, this experience really made our night. Highly recommend!

I catered from this restaurant for a group of 150 and the service and food were fresh and well made. Rosie and Eric the caterers, did a wonderful job and made everyone happy. One person liked it so much that she's thinking of getting her wedding meal catered from here as well in January. We will also keep them in mind again for our future catering needs. The restaurant is clean and that is what stood out the most for me.

From the hostess to the servers, horrible attitudes. No menus, told if we wanted to see a menu we could scan a code.

Server acted like the last thing she wanted to do was wait on us.

The music is so damn loud it might as well be a nightclub. Not enjoyable for dinner.

Terrible i wish I could give zero stars the food was nasty it had no flavor nothing about this place is “authentic” if “authentic” Mexican food is what your looking for this is NOT the place to go. Will not be returning. Waste of money . Prices for the kind of food being served does not match .

Really good food, friendly staff, prices are reasonable, and the food comes out fairly quickly. The only things I don't like were scaning the QR code for a menu, and the lighting in some spots could be better, but those are minor issues. This was my 2nd time eating there, and both times were great.

Wow. No words can express the amazing quality of this restaurant. My server, Ford, was extremely attentive and kept our crazy family of four laughing all night! They have lost their touch street tacos are always dry and they charge you for price you pay for big tacos at our real mexican food spot down the road they know where I'm talking about regardless of the meat, and the tortas might as well yell out subway bread wasn't even Slightly toasted at all it was the size of 6in sub on white bread very disappointing when I asked one of my fellow ken folk that work there and showed him the torta his response was its because of the white people who go there they keep changing the way they cook to cater to white people which in turn i just laughed and I won't be coming back to this taco bell restaurant again.

Restaurant is very attractive and beautifully decorated and that is basically the appeal. The food was not as good as taco bell, and it was in my opinion extremely over priced. My food tasted as if it was not prepared in the kitchen on a grill or oven range but instead was microwaved from a frozen box. My entire party did not finish their meal but instead ate the chips and salsa which was actually good even though they were reluctant to refill them or our drinks. My margaritas were 90% mix ...and expensive.

My husband and I visit this location at least once a week. We also tell people about you guys when they ask for recommendations on good places for Mexican food. I let them know that you guys have great food and even better customer service. Tony M. Was our server this visit. Today my visit included my friends and I. Most of us close to 40. We gave our ID. He inspected it and held it up to the light like they were fake. Looked over it again once he took it away from the light. I was confused but didn’t say anything. When he brought our drinks, he dropped them off and walked away. Didn’t check if we were ready to order or not. I asked about a new item on the menu and he seemed annoyed with me for asking. So, I just took a chance and ordered it. He never came back to see if we needed anything or to refill our drinks. We had to go find him to get our checks and to go boxes. My friend ordered a picture for our table. He put half of it on my check even though she ordered it. She decided to just pay for my check instead of having him fix it because we were over going to look for him. She handed him both checks with her card. He scanned the top check, folded up her copy and gave it to her. He then aggressively asked where’s my payment for my check like I was trying to leave without paying. I told him to look under the other check. So, he unfolded it, and cashed that one out. He handed me my friends card and walked off. Out of our entire visit, he barely said anything to us. I didn’t even want to finish my food. I was ready to leave. I’ve NEVER experienced anything like that from this location. Customer service is the biggest part of his job but his customer service skills are horrible. That was my friend’s first visit there. She said she’s never coming back. That’s not ok because she didn’t get the great experience that I told her she’d have. Hopefully you guys can help him with that.

I ordered online. Chicken and rice with cheese sauce. The dish was $15 plus tax and tip.
My order was ready a few minutes after the website said it would be 15-18minutes

Once I received my order it was in a nice Aztecas paper bag with handles. The bag was taped up sorta like they are with door dash orders.

Once I opened the bag I immediately felt ripped off due to the portion size being kinda small. I was given a small cup of cheese sauce for my dish.

I went back in, showed the host and she said they’re usually that small.

The chips and salsa was good. Salsa was a little spicy but still tasty. The chips were hot and crispy

The food wasn’t that flavorful but it wasn’t nasty. I usually go to hacienda Miguel on schillinger and let’s just say I’m not cheating on them anymore. I get a bigger portion and more cheese sauce.

I may try this restaurant again at the saraland location but it’s gonna take me forgetting how I felt when I seen the portion size for me to give this location another try.

If I do, I’ll definitely be ordering cheese sauce and chips only

I have always expeienced exceptional customer service with great eats and drinks. I decided to celebrate my birthday at the Azteca's Airport location last minute. Let me just say Walter, Aspen and Austin took extremely great care of me and my 20 + guests. No long wait on food or drinks and food was served fresh and hot. Kudos to the entire staff! Thank you for making my birthday celebration a success!

Food didn’t taste to good came after my graduation waiters didn’t even know she had our table noone told her we had for so long until they notice us to take our drink order my food came I order the fajitas they were and taste burnt didn’t feel welcome idk see what the hype is would. It be coming back should have went to my normal Mexican place then there score was a 88 on the wall my baby had the kid meal chicken rice the meat was hard she could not chew it and the rice taste old my meat was stuck to the pan and burnt you could see the blackness stuff on the food

I came here for my boyfriend’s birthday. We didn’t want anything special just a nice lunch with the two of us.

My servers name is Savannah. Placed an order with her for a cheese dip, some drinks and entrees.

The food arrived before the drinks (a milk and water) and the cheese dip (which was supposed to be like an appetizer)

We ordered the birria tacos and a chimichanga and the chimichanga was alright but the birria taco was mushy and flavorless.

Ordered a pina colada as she was serving the entree and never received it till I was presented with the bill and saw I was still charged for it.

The pina colada arrived with a bug in it.

See, I understand if a thing or two would go wrong while it was a rush hour or if the restaurant was understaffed, neither of these issues seemed be the case.

And to top it all of the server, Savannah would just keep talking instead of leaving the food and going to do whatever else she needed to (like making sure her tables received their food in an appropriate manner?! Maybe?) Not saying servers shouldn’t have a personality, I’ve been one and understand you need to talk to customers to build a relationship with them but no one wants to hear all of the opinions and experiences you have had while trying to eat their meal, Savannah. It might help you in life to learn a little self awareness.

It was just an extremely poor dining experience, the food was pretty gross over all, and I was told I would get a refund on my pina colada in 2 days (which is pretty unusual since I let her know as soon as I was charged)

I have frequented Aztecas on several occasions, maybe 6 or 8 times now???.... Both vey late at night after a performance (11:30 pm plus), and during more normal hours of operation. 1. Never had a bad meal, ever. 2. Never had bad service even after 11:30 at night. This evening - more normal hours of operation - I had a great service experience with Ford as our server. ( A. ) Sincere. (B.) Caring (C.) Responsive (D. ) Polite and professional. There are numerous Tex Mex type restaurants in Mobile. Why go anywhere else? I highly recommend this establishment ! Steak Fajitas were off the chart good.

Ordered 3 chicken sandwiches and a burrito loco. The BL was great, my son ate it up. As far as the Chicken sandwiches go, they USED to be large, thick and overhang the bun. Now though, they opted to raise the price and make the chicken thin sliced. This is a 15.00 sandwich.. save your money and go to chic fil a for 5.00 and get a better sandwich. Rediculous!! Not even filling, except the bread..

Went for late night and the food was room temp and the drink I ordered had mostly ice. This is the amount of ice left inside my cup after finishing the drink and it sitting untouched for about 10 minutes. Disappointed. Usually not like this. I paid $20 for this “drink” I mean flavored ice.

Wow! My friends and I have gone to this place ALMOST once a week! We have had multiple servers and all have been great! HOWEVER, tonight we had Julia and she went above and beyond what a server does for their tables! We had a weird and rude moment with a food runner but the woman that is management, was incredible! I got to celebrate my birthday with the people I love at a place that does a phenomenal job! If you go...get Julia as your server OR Emily! The staff is just standing around chit chatting and not checking in their customers. If you stop any of the servers and ask for something, most are extremely put out it seems. I have watched the staff stand over by where they pick their orders up and just play on their phone. Let's not mention that the menu you scan and the menu they give you are different. I just ea two 2 streets tacos as the menu said you could get them single I order them amd they told me I could not. I had to get 3 or 5 of the same kind.

I’ve never had birria tacos, so I looked EVERYWHERE around mobile for them until I found out about this place. Needless to say, they were everything I ever imagined they would be and then some. I should have bought 2 plates just so I could have had something to eat at home. I’ll know next time, lol. The salsa is the best salsa too, fresh vegetables were used and it was actually spicy and flavorful, just like the birria. I also had the desert cake, and that was the best thing ever too. The atmosphere is amazing and so was the waiter!! Definitely coming back!!

I just ordered a carry out steak chimichanga the cheese is missing. It’s raining outside and I expected the complete order. The manager instructed me to come back 20 miles tonight in the rain while it’s dark outside and Christmas traffic with gas $ high and that’s all they can do.

We came for my great grand child's birthday gathering...it was packed & we waited at least 30minz for 8 or 9 of us..but what was the best thing that happened..we were kept up on the situation & the hostess was very helpful plus the servers were on their jobs...which made the whole night not so bad at all..& this was my 1st time ever visiting there..I say...a must go & visit & the food was great as well...keep up the great job guys..I will come back for sure!🤪😝

Came in on a Tuesday for lunch one afternoon!! No wait and was seated immediately which was nice!! We were quickly greeted and asked what we wanted to drink!! We ordered our adult beverages that were good then we ordered our entrees!! We asked for soft shrimp tacos, shrimp quesadillas, and a quesaburrita!! The shrimp taco was quite good!! The shrimp quesadilla left much for the imagination and had hardly any flavor!! The quesaburrita looked nothing like the picture and was nothing but a soggy soft nasty shredded beef taco!! Our server wasn’t bad but I could tell he was new!! The atmosphere was nice and the restrooms were clean!! However, this was our second not so great food experience that we spent $60 plus on!! Probably won’t be going back!!

My experience at this establishment was awful. I had ordered some wings to be specific they were buffalo wings, and Sopa de pollo which was absolutely awful. My wings were burnt with no sauce. The soup was absolutely awful. Also, the vegetables within the soup were not done please think twice before you go to the establishment do not go. If I could give them a -0 I would.

We came in Saturday night to place a to go order we stood at the hostess stand for atleast 25 minutes two women were behind the bar one with purple in her hair and the other dark hair never once acknowledged us left us standing at hostess stand the purple hair girl walked pass by us several times Never even a hello until the cook behind the glass and someone else walked in finally went to the back and got someone to help us. Long story short we left want be back and have Terrible customer service I had to give a star to review or it would zero-

The chili relano was saucy, not a lot of meat, I couldn't taste the beef. The rice was good and the chips and salsa were good, fresh and about the right spicy heat.

I had a lunch with a close friend and we were not disappointed! I highly recommend this restaurant. This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants i have been to in years....... The restaurant is very clean. The atmosphere was very nice and inviting. Everything was perfect from the hostess to the waiter to the food. I will definitely be eating at Aztecas Restaurant soon!!!!!!! P.S. the Beef Chimichanga was amazing!!!

It was awful. 10 people to celebrate a birthday. The music was so loud we could not talk to each other. 3 times we ask them to turn the music down. I do not think they ever turned it down. It was a miserable experience. Never again. 👎
