This was my first time there. I got steak and chicken street tacos on a flour tortilla. These were so good. That green sauce has a light kick to it that just heightens the flavor! The staff were friendly and my food was prepared pretty quick!

The food is delicious and comes out quick. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, and make for a great dining experience. If you’re looking for good Mexican food and don’t want to break the bank, this is the place to do it and you won’t have to fight for parking. The only thing to beware of is there is a service charge if you pay with credit card.

I dropped in for lunch, and the service was prompt, and timely throughout lunch. Shelton was friendly, informative and accommodating. He made sure that I got my order the way I wanted it, and everything was delicious and exactly what I expected. I had a full plate lunch with chips and salsa for $9.99, complete with exceptional service, so I will certainly return 😋

Me and my partner really enjoyed the food. We have been to a lot of Mexican spots and the cheese dip and salsa was great. My partner doesn’t usually eat salsa but he ate there so that says a lot. I also had a strawberry (frozen) margarita it was good considering a bartender was not on sight so the waitress made drinks which is why it wasn’t in the right glass. I went to try the birria tacos since a lot of places only sell them on certain days. However, they sell there throughout the week. It was good you can taste slightly cinnamon or star anise flavoring. I would have liked a little spicy but still worth the try. My partner had a steak quesadilla was nicely cooked and not greasy. He said the beans were alright and rice could’ve had more seasoned. Will be going back to try other menu options.

I’ve yet to come here and be disappointed by the food! Always cooked to perfection with a hint of flair (I see some of your cooks). Or favorites include the enchiladas and the chorizo queso (don’t let it get cold though).

Great food, tastes fresh. My first time there our waiter was busy but nice. Our second time, Lester was our waiter and he was super friendly and interactive with us and every table he served. That kind of service with great food will make our decision easy to return again and again. We highly recommend. UPDATE: We continue going occasionally and they never disappoint us. I tried something new and ordered the Pollo Deluxe. It was great, I couldn't eat it all so took it home for lunch the next day.

Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Waited longer for our check than we did getting our food. Ordered two margaritas and rheybwere so strong couldn't even drink them, when asked to take one off of our check the manager stated “he wasn't having it”.

First time here, we ordered food and drinks. The drinks were not good, the machines went down after one drink. We had to ask stop the waitress several times for condiments and she couldn't answer any questions about the menu or drinks. Not a very good atmosphere to me. We were there but we weren't to the staff.

This place is great! Love the happy hours especially Taco Tuesdays. Al pastor tacos are my fave. Fun and cute atmosphere, very attentive and courteous staff, great prices, and the food is some of the best Mexican I've had. Outdoor seating is available as well. It's a winner all the way around.

I can only review the chips and salsa because if you can't make it past the chips I don't hold a whole lot of Hope for the rest of the menu.... we sat down and were given the usual chips and salsa and the first chip that went in my mouth was absolutely disgusting so I called the waiter over told him to please get us some fresh chips he returned to the table with a another basket of chips and told us the cook said they were all cooked today I explained to him that was the problem that they had all been cooked in Old burnt oil. the next chip out of the second basket was even worse.... we just left disappointed and hungry.
If you can't even get the chips right it absolutely confirms no one is tasting what is leaving the kitchen.

I’ve yet to come here and be disappointed by the food! Always cooked to perfection with a hint of flair (I see some of your cooks). Or favorites include the enchiladas and the chorizo queso (don’t let it get cold though).
Staff is generally very good. Some are much more lively and attentive than others. None of them are bad, but you can tell who’s enjoying their shift and who isn’t sadly.

I have just gotten queso and cheese and had a leftover quesadilla from my friend. They were all pretty good only complaint is it’s quite pricey but that’s okay because most places are nowadays. it looks like an excellent place to eat in and my true rating is a 3 1/2 stars to be honest. id recommend it for someone looking for some Mexican food if you live in Midtown.

Ordered off the lunch specials… chimichanga, shredded beef +$3, hot sauce +$.50 credit card free +$1…. $19 for a lunch special on top of it being really bland. First and last time I go there.

We ordered a shredded chicken quesadilla it was bought out to us watery and they said it was cooked in a red liquid not sure what it was but it did have any flavor. We spoke with the manager and he said we had to get something else, he couldn't take it of the check. I asked was that in writing on the menu he could not show it to us. He stated so many people return food until they just stop doing it it does not matter if we didn't like the meal really bad business we will not be returning.. we had to order nachos and everything that goes on the nachos is sold separately The servers were very nice but the manager wasn't any help at all. We got the check everything was sold separately nachos and two drinks$48.91
.very disappeared 😒I'm sooo pissed off Ricky the manger is horrible the worst customer service EVER!!

Today, Sunday, January 28, I went for a cash meal. I only had $15. I forgot my wallet at home, but I had my phone on my phone. I have a contactless payment wallet. It was my turn.I only bought some tacos because when I asked the person who helped me that I was sorry but they don't have to charge with a contactless POS. I'll be honest, I felt a little angry because I needed to buy my partner lunch and they don't have the money to pay.. For example, they only need a cell phone with NFC, an application to which they can charge people who use contactless cards or use g pay.

The chicken soup....oh my goodness, you must try!! Delicious and homemade tasting as though they have their grandmother back there cooking! They put in avacodo and lime, shredded REAL chicken, rice, stewed tomatoes, diced onions, and potatoes. On the spicy side, it is not too much spicy.
Staff has always been very friendly, never a wait, and the food comes out just about when you would expect it to!!

Took forever to get waited on. Our server was bartending and waiting all over the restaurant. When we finally did get our food we were being rushed to finish because a larger party needed our table. I live I. The neighborhood and I will never go back.

We always come to Bariachi for the service that we always get from Nesto. He was at another restaurant before yours and when he left that restaurant we asked where he went so we're here because of the friendliness of Nesto.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Mobile. The food is delicious and the servings are huge! Our waiter was amazing! He interacted with us throughout our visit and even made a special dessert for us! I also would like to add that during shut down during COVID, they offered curbside pick up and gave a fresh made loaf of bread with every meal that was picked up. How awesome is that?

Ordered a shrimp and a chicken taco. There was no seasoning AT ALL. He chips were oily with no seasoning too. I had to add seasoning. Food NOT GOOD at all. This is my 1st and last time getting food from this place. 🤮 The only recommendation I make is choose another place to dine.

We sat at the bar and got there at 7:00 and they had just gotten slammed full of people otherwise we would have sat at a table. The bartender waited on us his name is Ricardo, we found out later that he was also the owner. He was very apologetic because he was in the weeds, restaurant talk for extremely busy, and he couldn’t wait on us right away. We had a couple beers and a chimichanga as well as the taco trio, 2 beef 1 chicken. The food was good but bland. I added salt and it was delicious. The employees made the experience awesome and because of that we will be back regardless. The customer service was impeccable aside from the hiccup when we arrived

Probably the BEST Mexican food in Mobile! Service was phenomenal! The birria tacos were unbelievably delicious. I had the big margarita, and it was fantastic! I can't wait to go back.

I don’t know where to start- with the food or with the service! I was greeted and seated immediately and Nestor, my waiter, was awesome!! Friendly, very enthusiastic, made great recommendations, and I could just tell he absolutely loves his job. His happy attitude was contagious and much needed during my lunch break from work. He also provided very quick and attentive service. Kudos! Now to the food, these were the best birria tacos I’ve ever had! The shells were crisp, the meat was sooooo tender and seasoned to perfection, and they did NOT skimp on portions! I can usually eat 4 or 5 tacos, but I was full before I could finish my third taco here. I wish I had thought to take a picture of the inside of the tortillas but they were stuffed, I promise. The consume was flavorful! I took off one star because the margarita I chose wasn’t the best (strawberry mixed with peach) but it was still refreshing and because the chorizo dip had way too much chorizo for my liking. I’m here in Mobile for the week due to work and I’m contemplating going back to Bariachi before I leave. Thank you Nestor!!

I'm not sure who's rating this place 4 stars but it's not even close. More like 2.5. service was lackluster at best. Waited 20 min for our drinks after we ordered them and never got a drink refill once. They brought out the cheese dip and no chips to eat it with when our were visibly empty from waiting so long! Apparently this place can't keep employees because our waiter was also the bartender/waiter for the entire restaurant during lunch. Props to him for trying.

The person taking to go order on the phone was not paying attention and talking to other people when I was trying to order and then had an attitude when I was correcting her when she was repeating my order back wrong. The food was good and the staff was friendly when I picked up my food.

Should've bought a frozen pizza. Service was absolutely fantastic, but food was under-seasoned, overcooked, and underwhelming. Jalapeno margarita was far more jalapeno than margarita... 🥵...be sure to grab a chaser! Totally unbalanced, but the salt on the rim was good 😬 (honestly in hindsight should've put that salt on the carne asada!)

What happens to this place. 6 months ago I would have given it 5 stars, but today the restaurant was a wreck, the floor look like they havnt been swept all day. The salsa was just ok.(it used to be some of the best in mobile) I could buy better salsa at Walmart from a jar. It also took over 10 min just to ask what we want to drink. The fajita recipe seems to have changed as well, it was way too salty to enjoy.

This is one of our favorite places to go to in the Loop because of this one particular server and makes you feel you are the best customer ever. He is always happy! While we were there, they had TWO Birthday parties with singing, desert, and traditional sombrero. I got hooked on their fresh guacamole ceviche. Their salsa is tasty. I ordered their Bariachi dip and was freshly made, chili poblano, and chicken enchilada a la carte. Portions were large and taste was good, but not extraordinary which is not a deal breaker. The best part was the server who has regulars cone in and they talk about each others family. Community is cool.
