Place seems a little run down.
Food was ok. I hade biaria bowl (stewed meat on rice with a couple of cheese quesadillas).
Bottled beer was cheap and cold (happy hour)
Staff was civil and effective.
It was walking distance from my hotel.
Probably wouldn't do it again.

If i can do 0 star i would. First of all the outside seems like they didn’t pay their power bill. Second, as soon as you walk in fan is blowing because the AC is not working. Third is the server doesn’t take notes of the order so ofcourse our orders came in all wrong! Lastly the food sucks! Overall everything just sucks. Save you some time and $$ and go somewhere else. What a waste of money. Seriously! NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

We arrived late about 930, greater immediately but it went down hill from there. The server messed up the order. Repeatedly and then over charged me, without removing the messed up food. He charged full price for kids meals and charged for the kid drinks because he was out of lids. The food was good, but lukewarm when it came out. Service was quick tho. I ordered a top shelf margarita with no salt and it came with salt and tasted not too shelf. There was no floater and honestly, they seemed watered down for 12.99 each. Overpriced and underserved, I was disappointed to say the least for how much it cost. Plus the air was out and there fan blowing everywhere. It was the closest to our hotel and extremely disappointing 😕

I was staying at one the nearby hotels, so I thought I'd go over for a beer and something to eat. The beer was fine, but the food? Not so good.
They brought out chips and salsa, and the tortilla chips were actually pretty tasty without being greasy at all. But the salsa? It was more like a marinara sauce than anything out of Mexico. It was pretty much plain tomato with maybe a touch of onion.
I ordered the ceviche, as I wasn't terribly hungry, and a nice ceviche would go well with the beer. What they brought, though, did not resemble ceviche in the slightest. Yes, it had seafood bits, but not a hint of citrus to be found. They might have boiled it for all the flavor it had. And while it hadn't gone bad or anything, it certainly wasn't at all fresh.
I will say that the staff was friendly and attentive, so it's not their fault. The owners need to hire a cook that has tasted Mexican food beyond Taco Bell. Hell, even Taco Bell food is more authentic than this place!

Chimichanga, beef with rice/beans, plus side order rice.

Not sure why someone would be petty enough to complain about how a menu was made. Anyway, we stopped in today for lunch. At the time we were the only ones there so our service was fantastic. The Chips and salsa was really good and the cheap aren't greasy like some places and came our warm and fresh. I had the Carne asada street tacos, they came out hot and fresh with large chunks of steak. Surprising on how much meat was on them. The rice was good and the beans as well. Would definitely recommend this place.

Stopped a LA Cocina on our way through town. Parking lot was very big, and they did not seem too busy (it was early for dinner) so it made a great stop after a long day.

The atmosphere was what you would expect. The chips and salsa seemed fresh, and we got the pablano queso. Everyone should consider that mandatory. For less than $7 you get a huge bowl, ad I love that the pablano were huge pieces, not small diced peices that disappear flavor wise.

I got the Pollo con queso. It was good, but I asked for no rice, and had it served with the Pollo con queso over the rice, so I had no choice but to eat the rice. I also tried the house hot sauce, which was great.

My son had the fried shrimp po'boy wrap and loved it. My wife had a chimichanga that looked small when it came out, but turned out to be more than enough.

My daughter had the fajita taco salad that turned into fajita-queso soup from all the juice for everything in the shell, but she said the flavor was awesome, and she didn't mind it at all.

Overall it was a good stop, and I would highly recommend. Our server was very nice.

The menu was made from cheap plastic and was a reflection of what was to come. The chips and salsa were good, and my food came out fast. The chips were not greasy, which i liked. The atmosphere was ok.. there were people at the bar belittling the waitress, doesn't seem like a very nice work environment! Kind of off putting when you are trying to enjoy a meal with your family. There were also several homeless people lingering around the area and we got bombarded on the way out for money and cigarettes (which we had neither). The area is a bit sketch, we also noticed a man walking in the back door with a beer in his hand that he had brought from his truck. Again, a bit sketchy!

I'm super picky, and being from Texas, this was not even close to mexican food, but I do understand where I was at the time. The server did an amazing job.

Stopped in for dinner. The food was awesome. Nothing bad to say about it. 4 star just because it could use a little updating but the food was on point.

Best Mexican food I've ever had. Service was fast and so polite. If I lived here I'd eat here every day.
