Moe's Southwest Grill

I ordered a burrito on yesterday through DoorDash. Over half of the ingredients that I asked for were not in the burrito. It was literally only ground beef and corn. I called to speak with a manager about my order on yesterday and the young woman who answered said her name was Kayla and that she was the manager but no resolution was reached. I attempted to resolve the issue today because I figured she wasn’t being honest about being the manager. Well, I was told today that there was nothing that could be done because that was yesterday and they have no manager named Kayla, but this is why I called back. I also have my receipt of what I paid for. It may not mean anything to the manager and employees at Moe’s on McGregor Ave but I will not be patronizing their establishment again. Yes my money was wasted. I get it, you don’t need my money or my business and that’s okay but treating me with disrespect and as if I don’t matter is not okay.

This location sucks. When I walked in, no one greeted me. The girl decides to finish her conversation before serving me. Because apparently touching all over her face to talk about a piercing was more important than. Then the wanch didn’t wash her hands and just put on gloves. The other employee just stood there and watched. No one said anything about her behavior or at least start making the food for me. I don’t know if it was an insecure thing or what. But I don’t get why you would be rude to someone you don’t even know. Like what’s the point. Never going here again. I never have any problems at other locations. I recently visited moes, at different location, and everyone was friendly. Throw the entire location away.

I had an edgy bowl and my friend had a quesadilla. There was a generous portion, the food was hot and tasty. The service was quick and friendly. As this is a chain store, the decor is fairly standard and the restaurant was clean. I would eat there again.

Tonight was by far the worst tacos I've ever had in my life. The ground beef and chicken meat were both ice cold and flavorless. It's like nobody in there knew what seasoning was. Never again will I waste my money at this location. If you want some good hot tacos go across the street to Tijuana Flats. Lord knows the food is better then this crap I got tonight.

Moes was absolutely TERRIBLE 😔. Placed a online order rat the Mobile AL. Location, and even though the food was prepared while I waited, some how the burrito and it's contents were still cold.

The contents themselves were very bland and tasteless, as if the chicken had no seasoning whatsoever! Also the rice lacked any semblance to cilantro lime, I guess that's best left up to Chipotle.

In fact this has certainly reinforced my loyalty to Chipotle, as I can actually TASTE their food. The only redeeming factor that I can give them is their QUESO dip and chips. Hard pass on future visits to this chain altogether, but for those who are content with the blander side of things, have at it! 👎🏽

Took 15 minutes to order. 10 minutes to make the food. All because the crew was worried about preclose all while the line is just about out the door. Foods good if you wanna wait 25 minutes for line and assembly line.

She knew I was coming to make this so I hope she sees this
1st Moe’s is a go to especially with the deals now Moe’s probably didn’t think some would notice but the size of their bowls are smaller (you know how chipotle is giving smaller portions Moe’s has smaller bowls now)
2nd if there’s no meat on the line why make people get something they don’t want bc you don’t want to do your job? I was in yesterday and the little girl working the meat must’ve wanted to go home
The couple in front of me got scraps of the adobo chicken and when I asked for some it was a 10 minute wait or so she claimed
As she took the rest of the chicken out for the couple in front of me she decided not to cut it but give them the scraps that were left
And when I asked she had someone else cut the chicken and I was told to chose another protein
Chose that nasty tequila lime mess (leave that where it is that was nasty af) I started to walk out of the line after not being accommodated, but because the other girl stepped in and helped me, I went ahead and paid for my food and left
Now mind you last time I had this issue because that is a popular chicken. They went ahead and made my bowl while someone else was cutting up the chicken and then topped it with the chicken I wanted that is what you call customer service and accommodations.
It’s just that if you don’t want to work in customer service like with people then dont
Some people Just want a quick meal after a long day of work with no problems
She was sweet, just inconsiderate
So be mindful when you want your protein make sure there’s enough to not cheat yourself and if they have to do their job to cut the chicken, make them if that’s what you want

Rude staff, no customer service, judgemental looks, and slow. My burrito wasn't even wrapped correctly, when I removed it from bag everything just fell apart inside the bag. This location is too "woke" for me, they get offended when you want to add something on to your order. Staff does not want to be there, and it shows. Meat not cooked right, staff just rushes to get you out of there.

I already loved Moe’s but the service is a 10/10. Specifically the employers named Kayla, Conner, and Jy. They were attenative, great listeners, and also sweet genuine people. I always loved coming to this Moe’s but they just made it even better.

Accidentally put Guacamole on a Homewrecker bowl thru an online order...... called to request to have the Guacamole removed from the bowl as a minor adjustment. Was told that it could not be removed due to it being a part of the bowl. When clearly on the app you can modify the order to not have Guacamole added. I just did not realize it until my order was made. Worker was very rude when she told me it could not be done. I'm not understanding why. It's not like I asked for a different order just to remove one item. Ended up canceling my whole order. Customer service was not satisfactory at all

There was not one clean table in the whole place. It was 2pm. They were not busy. The floor had trash and spills. The dining area did not invoke confidence that the rest of the cooking area was clean. Such a decline. Used to be such a cool place.

Only good for a penny pinching meal. All of the tables were dirty, there was outdated music blasting out of the speakers, and children having tantrums. I ordered a steak burrito, and the steak had the texture of a breakfast sausage. I was given stale, greasy corn chips. The vegetables were nowhere near fresh, neither was the guacamole. It was brown and bitter. Taco bell is better to eat than this place.

the last two times i’ve doordashed from here, they have completely forgotten things that I’ve ordered. it’s very disappointing. i’ve worked in fast food and it’s really not that hard to just read off a ticket or receipt like a checklist before it goes out to make sure you get everything. it’s very disappointing.

Thus place was absolutely amazing for my first time. The workers were so kind and friendly, it was such a stress relief that they were. I ordered the Adobo Chicken Burrito and it was fantastic, I couldn't stop taking bite after bite.

We were a party of 8 today, so the wait while they were filling online orders wasn't the problem. The food was absolutely horrible today. I have never had bad food at Moe's. The queso tasted scorched, the chicken was dry and the steak tasted bad. There was also a hair in one of the parties food, and the manager could care less. Just an overall bad visit.

Worst Moe’s I’ve ever been to. Only reason they get one star is because the salsa and drink were decent. The employees look scared to even put a single full scoop of anything in whatever you get as if God himself said he’s going to strike them down if they do. One lady ahead of me had the wrong meat put in her bowl and the girl literally just took her hands and dug into the bowl and picked out the chicken and put it back in the container. The chips they give barely cover the bottom of the bag and I asked for extra because there’s two people eating them and the girl looked up confused and scared to do it then turned around to the manager and asked what should she do.

I wanted a burrito combo, but the cashier totaled everything separately. Charging me $3 for a drink $5 for queso, & $8 for my burrito. Ridiculous. Eating out these days is no longer enjoyable & expensive for no good reason.

I've been to numerous Moe's locations over the past few years and have been fond of the food and brand. After multiple terrible experiences at this location with food quality, portion sizes, and their awful customer support, I can't in good conscience recommend this place to anybody.

I walked in to order and there were three people ahead of me, they served those three people then left me standing there for 20 minutes while they filled online orders. I understand those orders have to be filled but they never acknowledged that I was standing there, never asked me to hang on, never spoke a word. Service and food quality of Moes has become equal with McDonalds. Just far more expensive.

Ordered online for delivery. Ordered nacho's - white meat chicken, extra chicken and toppings. Received order - completely messy and thrown together with minimal effort. Hardly any toppings on top of a pile of chips. Very little chicken - which was not all white meat as ordered and hardly any toppings as requested. Made it a meal and they put a empty drink copy in the bag and told the driver "They didn't know what I ordered". Totally unacceptable. I could have received better from Taco Bell for 5.00. Ridiculous. Called the store to complain and no one answered.

Save your money and order elsewhere unless you can be present in the store to make sure they do things right.

This place used to be great, but as of summer 2021 they've changed their menus and remodeled their dining area to mimic Chipotle. The portions were smaller and i had to ask several times to add more ingredients. I was a long time customer but lately I'm not considering this place much anymore.

2022 Update: I gave this place another try and was pleasantly surprised. Food was fresh and the portions were generous. Changing my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Would've been 5 if the tabletops had been clean.

The food was good but there wasn't a clean table in the entire restaurant. Seats were dirty. Floor was dirty. Food service area was totally trashed with a pile of chips on the counter and queso spilled all around. Pop machine was a syrupy mess. Sneeze shield over salsa was covered in dust and the entire drink area was dirty. All Salsa bowls were low and salsa was slopped on the bar. The kid that made our food didn't seem to want to be there and he threw our food together in the bowl like he couldn't care less.

I don't know what happened here but Management needs to crack the whip on these employees. It used to be fantastic. I hope these problems are addressed.

There isn't much that we have to say about Moe's, other than if you try it you'll love it. Moe's takes grilling to the next level. Wonderful job guys. PS can I get extra Chicken on my next Bowl. LOL what you give me is enough.

This Moe’s always has great food and service when dining in. However, I’m giving three stars because ordering on the app and picking up at the restaurant has been a hassle. I’ve ordered from the app close to 20 times this year (2021), but it has never been ready at the time proposed on the app. I’m not sure if this is an issue with the app or with the order filling process at the restaurant, but I’ve decided to stop ordering on the app and just order at the counter from now on. And it’s not just a few minutes, it’s been 20 and 30 minutes. Great food, but mediocre at filling online orders!

It seems like Moe's Southwest Grill , like the workers are afraid to put enough food in your bowl ! The bowl gets only like 3/4 of the way full . Well times are hard now and people don't get really full off of a $12 dollar bowl that 3/4 of the way full . So I'm not gonna eat there as much anymore because its way too much money for the bowl meal

I went in the other day for my birthday burrito, and requested the gentleman replace his gloves before making it. He immediately removed the gloves he had on, washed his hands thoroughly, and put a fresh pair on. He then went above and beyond by inquiring if there was a food allergy to accommodate. His consideration was greatly appreciated, and my dinner was delicious!
