Needed a quick bite before a play at Shakespeare. The service was very good and prompt and the food was good but not great. I enjoyed that the salsa was closer to medium and had pieces of jalapeno in it. The tacos were ok and that margarita was on the weak side but it was a happy hour drink so I guess that can be expected. The health score was an 89 at the time we visited which is the lowest I like to try but hope they can get that raised in the future. All in all it was an okay experience and we made it to the show on time.

street tacos AMAZING. Pictures don’t do it justice but it was so good. It reminded me of Mexican spots in Cali and the cook was vibing to bad bunny. Def give this place a try. We came around noon for lunch and was not disappointed. I got the beef chimichanga with no cheese (I’m allergic don’t judge me.), asada taco and hubs got the torta hawaiana(not pictured cause he ate it before I could take a pic)

Edit: came back for dinner. Still not disappointed. Got a blue margarita, pastor tacos and the asada burrito.

No bugs! I read previous reviews and people stated bugs. Our meal was delicious. Server was very attentive. Food was delivered to us promptly. All the employees were very friendly. Coming from Cali this place was pretty good and very responsible priced.

If I could rate it a 0/5, I would. I found a bug in my son's food because I always check before we eat. We did not eat any of the food. Salsa was watery and chips had a burnt taste. They still wanted to charge me. Instead they decided to charge me $8.25 for three drinks with attitude. DO NOT EAT HERE IF POSSIBLE!!! If you do, CHECK YOUR FOOD THOROUGHLY.

I went to this restaurant for Taco Tuesday. I wasn't prepared for the super festive environment. They even have a live DJ playing hip hop music. It's more of a club environment with food on a Tuesday. The prices are AMAZING 👏🏾.

We went for the 1st time the other day, and it was ok. The beans and rice were cold. The music and atmosphere was nice. The guacamole was not good it was runny and almost like they put the avocado in a blender and then added Pico. I got the chicken fajitas, and they were just alright.

The food was great. Our waitress was sweet.
At the end of the meal, it took forever to get our check. We had to flag her down. She was attentive otherwise.
Overall we'd go again. We may just ask for our check as soon as we get our meal.

Stopped in on a rainy day to this gem. Amazing food with great beer or mixed drinks from the bar - all at a good price. Staff are attentive and very kind.

CCW be warned! You can't go into this establishment because they will prosecute you!
They don't allow any weapons for any reason even if you do have the mother may I card from the state of Alabama and their sign on their front door threatens you with prosecution if you do so... I'll go to other businesses that do appreciate the fact that we live in the United States in the state of Alabama and have the freedom to protect our selves and there's the fact that I'm not walking around in a city with as high a crime rate as they have without protecting myself and my family.

would not recommend for their absolute lack of second amendment support... and just to be fair if they had a no open carry sign I understand it's private property they're entitled to that also I'm ccw....but they're not entitled to remove my second amendment rights entirely.

Don't forget the word soup in that law "with intent to commit a crime" technically there could be "intent" to commit a crime just walking past the sign where you're threatened with prosecution.

Music way to loud. Food was ok. Felt once again ignored. I've been trapped here waiting on a truck to get fixed. Been to many places on my weekend endeavor. So many places to eat have awful service.

I ordered about 4 meals to go for my family and upon getting home realized that they forgot 1, a burrito(just ground beef and cheese) with rice ( I definitely should have checked before leaving). I went back to let them know that they forgot a meal and immediately he came out with the meal so it was just sitting there the whole time. I knew it would be cold and the rice looked old so I asked if they could swap out the rice at the very least and they stated that was all they had🤔 huh?! So I ended up asking them to just remake the whole thing. All they did was reheat the rice. Simply put I will not be returning.

You might as well go to the freezer in your local market. Most of what they served us looked and tasted like came from a jar. My wife called a down grade from taco bell.

When we were there I counted 5 buckets catching roof leaks. The men's restroom looked it would soon be a swimming pool.

Keep looking for a good option.

I came here for lunch and it was the worst experience I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Ordered off the lunch menu and they brought out the most disgusting tacos I've ever seen. It was dripping with grease and oil. Then I noticed my plate had flies on it. At this point, I decided to leave and had to wait over 10 minutes for the waitress to come back out to get my check. They charged me $17 for what is always a $7 meal at ANY other restaurant. And with a bad attitude I might add. I am reporting this place to the health department. They were very rude and didn't care that I wasn't happy with my food.

Drinks were nasty., sent them back twice. After 2nd time, I told them nevermind. Enchiladas were supposed to come witg ric and beans. They brought them out with only lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guac. Food was not good, ive had better at Taco Bell.

Stopped by for lunch while visiting. Had the quesabirria and a margarita. I've had better birria, but the waiter was very nice and checked on us often. I'd say it's worth going back to try other menu items.

I came on a Tuesday and enjoyed the Shrimp burrito. Not sure if it's every Tuesday but after 5pm they had a DJ and the sign said something about Karoke. Good Vibes. Easy to find location and a lot of parking available.

Probably the best Friday night I had in Montgomery in years. Wonderful food and atmosphere in the drinks were really goodwonderful food and atmosphere in the drinks were really good. I had 3 drinks and 2 shots I believe lol or 3 times up by two because I had a friend with me and we got six tacos between the two of us. Easily 130 bucks which isn't bad if you think about not including tip.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Homemade chips and salsa. Visiting from Florida, margaritas are so good we hit the place twice that evening.

Dark and very loud inside. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and the booths and blinds were all torn apart. Also, our waitress seemed kind but literally could not speak or understand English. We certainly will not be returning.

I arrived 10 minutes before closing (didn't realize the time), but was greeted very warmly and seated immediately. The nachos I ordered were great and so plentiful that I couldn't them all. I highly recommend.

Not a great experience. I stopped by when I was working from out of town and was sadly disappointed. Not a clean restaurant at all. The overhead lamps were too low and in my face. Just grabbed a margarita but it was extremely sweet and my coworker got a whiskey and coke. We found a string (thread maybe) in the salsa and left. Just a bad atmosphere overall, very loud music and dim lighting...until you get the lamp to the face. More of a sketchy bar vibe.

Okay soon as you walk in staff is very welcoming and friendly. The building itself needs to be cleaned , each booth we moved to had food everywhere .the food was not it . They clear as fat burnt my son corndog and fries and still brought it out to him 😒 i ordered the burrito it was served so wrong . The prices are decent for what they are serving

Pedi un taco de catfish empanizado junto con otros tacos y me dieron un pedazito de tilapia a la parrilla, en verdad queria probar el catfish aunque la mesera me dijo que nunca lo habia visto, aunque el menu tiene 2 opciones de tacos de catfish: grilled and breaded, el servicio esta bien. Creo que deberian actualizar el menu y explicar a los meseros lo que esta disponible diariamente para el cliente
