The taste of the sandwich ( steak) was good , better than at one of our favorite Mexican places. But the chicken Quesadilla was only so so with small chopped chicken ,a small amount of cheese, and over grilled tortillas. They do have the good Mexican Coke, in the glass bottles, made with real sugar, not syrup. The salsa was very good with plenty of cilantro and small onions and tomatoes with just the right acidity. The chips were hard and not warm. The sweet tea plenty strong and sweet, done right. Lime available. I should mention that someone did approach me on the sidewalk when I left, asking for change. And to the side of the building was a broken down car ,where we parked that had both beer bottles and vomit on the ground ( that last part unknown to me at arrival- my passenger filled me in after our meal)

Great tortas de asada, and friendly staff. I enjoyed it with a cool refreshing Victoria beer michelada. I think next time I will try the fish.

I asked for Gorditas with pastor no pineapple , instead of them taking it out the meat they made them with it anyways and rice had no flavor. I won’t be returning , not authentic Mexican.

I took a friend here for dinner last night. I’d been telling her they have the best enchiladas verdes in Montgomery, she gets them everywhere. Absolutely loved them and my Gordita’s were perfect as usual. Love this place, the owner and her daughters.

Reasonable prices for their well served plates. Pretty much what I expected from a good taqueria, great Home made food! My first time here and loved their menudo. I see they have other great options for the next time I come back like their Chile colorado. Very polite and attentive watress. In less than 15 mins that plate was on my table. Great food and service!!!!!!

Tacos are a no brainer- true street tacos and homemade salsas. Also got the sopes- best in Montgomery. Stop in you won’t be disappointed

A note about the sopes: you’re required to order 3 at a time, which the menu doesn’t say and lists individual price which is a little confusing. And they can’t be 3 different fillings (meats) but - still delicious

One of the best Mexican restaurant l have ever tired. This is authentic Mexican not no texmas. Everything is clean and the waitress and everyone there is so polite and nice. they always be making me laugh and talk to me And l really enjoy that they make you feel like you are home. Everything is freshly made even the chips. I will definitely come back again. and the prices are really good for everything even though all all the prices has been going up lately. A lot of people may say it’s expensive but for what I got in the environment and a lot of food it’s pretty affordable.

We came to eat here due to the 4 stars & great reviews it had! But our experience was unacceptable our server was a young lady she brought us chips & salsa & our basket of chips literally had about 10 pieces of chips that wasn’t the issue. She didn’t greet us by at least a hi no she kept silent. We ordered our food & she was very rude. We tried to order a sope she denied that sopes were only sold by 3 not individually when the menus said we could order by one.
We are not from around here & this was not a pleasant experience.
I am not the type to write this type of review but I was very upset by how we were treated. We would of loved to have tried the food but sadly we didn’t get to.

Amazing food, large portions, coming from Florida you get a lot more food for your dollar. Chicken flautas were excellent, husband had tacos al pastor and they were excellent as well. Friendly service and great drink selection.

So very delicious & authentically fresh, I've been thinking about just how much I loved the food since we were there enjoying it almost a week ago. Can't wait to have more very soon! And I must mention the wonderful service & hospitality provided there by Rosa - she's fantastic herself. This place is truly a hidden treasure although very easy to find on Troy Highway - I'm so grateful to have finally been introduced to a genuine & excellent epicurean delight!

Since moving to Mobile from Arizona, I've definitely been missing authentic Latin cuisine. Well, this place hit the spot and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Montgomery. The food is a little pricey but, it is VERY tasty and they have all the drinks I would expect an establishment like this to carry. I may be 2,000 miles from home but, the food here made me feel a little closer. As an added bonus, the staff is very pleasant and cordial, even to a güero like myself. Give this local establishment some love. You won't be disappointed.

It wasn't what I expected I asked for chicken and yellow rice with beans the beans were not ready what I received was what appeared to be some chicken chopped up and lettuce and tomatoes I guess on some kind of taco shell and yellow rice the yellow rice was edible it's not my kind of place

Slow service, need food fresher, outstanding variety of alcohol drinks, that's their strong side of the force, however is a friendly service. Try them, you might be able to find a great Tequila. 👍🕊️☮️

Stopped here on our way home from vacation based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. The tacos were so good - maybe the best I've had. The outside made us nervous, but, as the other reviews suggested, we did not let that stop us.

Food was the best Mexican food we’ve had since moving from New Mexico. Definitely not Texmex like most places. The waitress was friendly. Don’t let the outside fool you, this is the place to go if you want some good tasting Mexican food. Can’t wait to go back and try their margaritas.

This was my first time going here. It was a nice little hole in the wall. Most people seemed to have placed to go orders so we pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. Careful, salsa is spicy. Waitress was very nice. With your order they bring a plate of cucumbers, radishes, limes, onion & cilantro for the table to share. Mmmmm

Hidden Gem!! A friend wanted Mexican, so I suggested we go somewhere we hadn't been.

The menu items were different than I'm used to but it was a good different. Pleasant service. VERY reasonable prices. I definitely would eat here again

Best place for street tacos (I love the steak & my husband loves the lingua) & margaritas are great too. Very authentic Mexican food. Just please be patient with the servers because some don't speak English very well. For a couple of Texans, we were so happy to find this place.

Great margaritas & street tacos with a wide variety of meats to choose from. Very authentic & wonderful service. My beef tacos were so good that I can't wait to come back & try the fajitas. My husband is from S. Texas & he loved his. Had to add some hot sauce to the guacamole because we like a little more heat but you can tell it's home made. Even the tortillas taste home made. Muy bueno!
