Let's start with the beans. First of all, the sides are just a little skimpy. Admittedly I ordered from the lunch menu. But the serving bowls are kind of small. The beans had great flavor. But there were about 10 beans in my bowl. And I'm not being hyperbolic here. There were literally about 10 beans in the bowl. I mentioned this to my server and she had essentially no reaction. She just kind of stared at me. It was actually kind of an awkward moment. Look, beans are cheap. If a customer complains they didn't get enough beans, then bring them a bowl of beans! You don't leave a customer dissatisfied over the cost of a few beans.
As for the rest: the decor is kind of Disney world, as in a designed attempt to transport you to a Mexican cantina. Kind of contrived. I'm not a big fan of that kind of make believe decor.

I got the birria quesadillas. I lived 40 plus years in Texas. They looked like tacos to me! The flavor was good. I enjoyed them. They were a little on the greasy side. But the the flavor was great. And as for the thing, that should start the assessment of any Mexican restaurant: the chips and salsa. The salsa was good. Could have been made in-house, could have been store-bought. I don't know. The chips were thick, kind of heavy duty. But they were also reasonably good.
So basically the place was okay, which is what three stars is supposed to mean. Of course we live in a world of rating inflation. And I might have actually given them four stars if they brought me a bowl of beans for goodness sake.

We were so happy with our lunch at Los Arcos. From the time we walked in we were seated almost immediately. Our waiter was there in just a few minutes to take our drink and guacamole order. The quacomole was delicious. It was a chunky mix instead of a smooth blend. When our meals came, a chimichanga meal and a fajita quesadilla meal, we were very pleased with the amount, appearance, and taste. Our waiter was attentive without hovering, friendly and very knowledgeable of the food they served. The restaurant was very clean with a very comfortable temperature and had a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We will return soon.
We have returned 3 more times with 2 different waiters. Our opinion is unchanged. Great food, great service, friendly staff.

This was our first time here and we weren’t disappointed! Great service- appearing when we needed something but allowing us time to enjoy visiting with our family as well. I got the quesadilla with chicken and cheese and it was on a grilled, toasty homemade tortilla with a side of Mexican rice which was delicious. The Flaming Cheese dish was very tasty but disappointing in the size of the portion. Overall, great meal, great service, great experience in a beautiful, convenient spot.

Visiting my hometown. Absolutely the best experience we could hope for. It’s authentic. Jose was a incredible server. Ceviche was similar to the shrimp cocktail. The guacamole tomato onion appetizer was delish. Salsa was seasoned, not to spicy. Rita’s were spot on. The atmosphere was what sold me with the service. Felt like I was in Cozumel. Sat outside. The road noise can be expected but didn’t hurt our experience. I’ll be back. Celebrating my mom’s 85th birthday weekend.

The restaurant is beautiful! Feels very authentic! The service is always amazing for us, and the food is always delicious!! My partner got the birria tacos and I got the pollo Pechuga! 10/10

Beautiful interior, amazingly friendly employees. We've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one, by far has the best tasting food. Alot more options than most places. We highly recommend this restaurant. I'd give a 10 star if I could. Sweet tea is absolutely on point as well. Service is amazing. Our waiter was top notch. Nothing bad to say about this place. Clean and beautiful establishment.

Basic Mexican food. Service was good. They do give you good size portions.They are closer to a 4 Star than a 3 Star but not quite there. The cheese dip was very bland it needed a little more spice to it.

Dine here every chance I get. I've never been disappointed. The Poblano Pepper entrée is the best this side of Texas. They don't skimp on the tequila in the Margaritas, either. Everything has been delicious!

Not only great Mexican food but the best service I've had at any of the Mexican restaurants in the area and top the of service we've had at any restaurant period in the area.
Jose was incredible and fun and took care of us while we dined. Everything we tried was top notch. And it was cheaper than my usual haunts in Florence. I'll go back for sure!

I used to eat inside here, but I have ordered delivery and pickup 4 times, and each time, it has been awful. The orders have been wrong. The food has been cold. Serving sizes have been half the size they should be. If you pick up, they want you to use an App that charges a fee and leave a tip.

Go to any of the other local mexican places. The food is basically the same, but the service is many times better, and they dont screw up or overcharge for pickup.

Had a waiter that didn't write our order down he relied on his memory and yes our food showed up all wrong and took forever to correct everything then forever on the check so we are one and done the food was average in taste and quality.

The amount of food you get here is small compared to other Mexican restaurants just down the road. The sweet tea tasted funky. They did swap the drinks and the server was nice but was rarely around.

The atmosphere is good and actually quite impressive compared to some other Mexican restaurants but I'm there for the food and there's not enough there to make me want to come back.

We ate at a restaurant in North Carolina a couple of years ago with the same name, don't know if it's associated or not, but the food was really good at this one, the service was fantastic but it was obvious we were there close to closing time because all we could hear was employees talking about when we leave and when they leave. Yes, they were speaking hispanic but others know the language as well. We will probably go back and hopefully have a different experience but I'd recommend it for Mexican food

It’s hard to find good service in the Shoals these days. But we found it here! Excellent service, as a matter of fact.
The food was pretty good. Mine was a little different than I was expecting…but that’s my fault. Because they did make it exactly as it was described in the menu. I was stupid and ate the whole thing, even though I was full way earlier.
We will definitely be back. Let’s hope they stay consistent.

The 1st time I tried Los Arcos was last year for my birthday. A friend told me how great the food was and she was right. The last few times I’ve been getting the fajitas Hawaiian with the homemade flour tortillas. Absolutely delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine.

Absolutely love this place! The servers are always super nice and help in any way they can. They check up on you throughout the visit to make sure everything is going great. The food is always fresh. The restaurant is always clean. Great variety of food choices.

I've tried lots of Mexican food and this one is up there on the list! Great food, generous portions and fair prices. The best thing here is their handmade flour tortillas!! Order some on the side just to try. Will be back to try more of the menu :) also, this restaurant has beautiful decor and music to enhance the eating experience.

We have been there twice and both times the food was great and the staff friendly.
My husband loves their taco salad and I, their fajitas. I'm not a fan of guacamole but loved what they made! Place is also very clean and loved the interior. Definitely will go again.

The hostess and server were both very nice. Cheese sauce was so watered down that there wasn't much flavor. The same watered-down cheese sauce was used for the nachos, resulting in soggy watered soaked chips. The cheese enchiladas had no flavor. They truly were a piece of cheese wrapped in a tortilla with the sauce on top.

The food here is absolutely delicious. There is no 'bland flavor' to the food, like some other Mexican restaurants I have visited. The rice was good; the enchiladas were great; even the tacos stood with a unique mouth-watering taste. It's a beautiful restaurant with a bar to sit at as well. I recommend!

Spotted this place while spending a couple days in North Alabama & decided to give it a try. It was excellent! From the margaritas to the chorizo cheese dip to our entrees, all delicious! And the service was outstanding as well. Won't hesitate to visit again next time we're in the area.

Me and my wife came here to eat while my mom baby sat. We waited 45 minutes to get our order taken. I left, but offered to pay for the chips and salsa. They were polite about it but it was to long to go with having your order taken.
