Good food and friendly staff. We were staying across the street, easy walk across the road and our large group was seated quickly. Great value for my money as well. Had left overs for the next day. Highly recommend to others.

Me and mine were on a vacation to Alabama. We stayed at the Hampton Inn across the road, excellent hotel by the way. We decided to eat at this restaurant that is across the street from the hotel. Greeting was slow to get a table despite being very empty of a restaurant (this should have been our first clue). The atmosphere was very dark but clean. Our server was not to energetic and acted as if we were a bother. The food arrived in a decent amount of time and looked just ok. We both found the food to be greasy and tasteless upon trying it. Once the server dropped off the food they disappeared into a booth, which we could see and shoved a phone into their face. We did not see them again until the check was dropped off. After talking with the staff at the hotel after our dinner, they would have suggested a different restaurant to eat at, and now I know why. We are used to great food and customer service at our hometown Mexican restaurant so this was a huge disappointment for us.

The food was good. The only problem is that I don’t eat meat. And there was not a lot of vegetarian options and if you are fully vegan, even less options for you. People were very nice and the place was making me feel like I was in Mexico, which is great. I guess if you are a meat lover, you will have no problems and no complaints. My experience was at the buffet, maybe if you order from the menu will be different, cus you will be able to ask for what you like or prefer. I just didn’t have luck today.

We stopped here for dinner during a recent business trip. The beer was cold, the food looked better as it tasted. The "Pollo Fundido" came out sizzling hot and looked great. However the bacon was too crispy for me and looked almost burned. I would give it a 4 - . Service was ok but also nothing to brag about. Compared to the many other Mexican places I have been, this place is average at best.

I recommend coming to eat at Los Arcos in Oxford, Meals were tasty, well presented, and plentiful. service is friendly accommodating.
Plenty of parking and clean!
Having heard a birthday celebration in the patio was highlighted by the waiters' staff singing. VERY JOYFUL!

I order by door dash. When I tasted the steak it was burnt. So I took it back and ask for my steak to be cooked well done not burnt and this is what I get. I will not be back. Not only that the majority of the steak is fat 🤮🤢 First and last time trying this place.

We were staying near y and my husband loves Mexican food so of course we had to try it. Everything was so good and fresh. Way too much food to eat so we took the leftovers back to the hotel. Definitely would recommend.

Coke was flat. Salsa tasted stale like it was watered down or maybe reused ? Just old tasting.

Waitress kept trying to grab our plate. Bet she asked us if we were ok 5x while we were eating. That’s annoying.
Update. We got sick a few hours after we left here so I highly suspect food poisoning.
The salsa was just off tasting as i noted on original review. Beware !!

We have been here twice before and it was okay at best but we went tonight because Mexico Lindo was closed. I ordered 3 steak street tacos. I noticed the tortillas were very oily so I used extra napkins to blot the oil off so I could try to eat them. They were so oily they fell apart so I basically just used my fork and ate the steak. And since I have gotten home I have been so sick. I think I got food poisoning 🤢🤢 I will never go back.

They got 2 entrees out of 3 wrong. Took forever to get drink refills and chips, food was good, but service is terrible. Have a full house but no staff to take care of anyone.

The waitress did not speak English, so she not able to answer questions. The chips were stale. We did not enjoy the food at all. The rice was cold,my entree was not hot. We won't be back. Do yourself a favor and skip this place and go to Mexico Lindo right down the road.

I had a previous review which was favorable. Honestly, prior to 2/18/2024, Los Arcos was our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Today, we visited, ordered our regular items, and waited (there were 3 in our party). We were served at three different times. Our portion sizes were tremendously smaller, with more veggies than meat, and no break on the price. The food was greasy and left us all feeling uneasy this afternoon. Part of our order was never brought to the table, and we had to chase our server down for refills. When we brought it to the attention of the staff, we were told that the restaurant was under new management and he was cutting portion sizes in the kitchen. When I addressed it to him, he didn't care that we were not satisfied. Won't be back. Oxford is full of Mexican restaurants. Find another.

Food here was great, cheese sauce was delicious and a great topper to my burrito. The wait staff was also very attentive and kept my water glass filled up. My important thing though is two stalls in the Men's restroom. This should be standard in all restaurants but even more crucial in a Mexican restaurant.

Arrived @5:45 and were seated immediately and were brought chips&salsa. Then, our server greeted us warmly. We ordered a pitcher of draft Michelob Ultra and 2 chicken fajita quesadilla plates. Our meal was brought to us within 10 minutes, IF THAT! This place is wonderful and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you enjoy Mexican food and 5* service. Our ticket was $40 plus tip. Great experience. ALSO, they have the BEST SALSA.. thin and jammed pack full of cilantro, onion and flavor that coats each chip perfectly.

I ordered a few dishes that we always order and it was absolutely no point in them having a menu… stuff that doesn’t come on the meal ( per the menu) came wit different individual. The fajitas nacho cancun was so salty and the meats were hard, it literally went into the trash. Can say I will not be attending this establishment anymore. Ill frequent the one in lenlock.

I called and asked, "Do you have 1 dollar Taco Tuesday?" She answered, "Yes, we do." Got there, all they offered is hard shell and they were $1.25. Not a big deal, but I did ask. Them we wanted 25 minutes for the check, and ended up just walking to the cashier. The check never got turned in so we waited 5 more minutes to find him, 5 more minutes for him to come up front and enter the ticket. Food tasted ok. Cheese dip was cold.

We drove through town and found this little restaurant that had a great menu. I ordered a classic Chili Relleno plate. I literally cannot make this up…. That’s a bell pepper! Who do they have cooking in this place?! They definitely are not Mexican! Absolutely, no seasoning to the food. If you close your eyes, you could not tell this is Mexican food. This restaurant is a joke. However, they have mariachis on Saturday night and everyone is extremely friendly and the place is clean. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, go somewhere else.

Osbaldo and Raúl. Best guys you'll ever meet. Food's great. But the service from these guys. Buenísimo ( extremely good). Even with all the little nuggets in town for a tournament running around. They get your order in and it comes out perfectly.

The food, service and atmosphere is excellent here. It wasn't busy but we were very comfortable in their care. The salsa is just spicy enough to be delicious without burning you up, and their guacamole is hands down, the absolute best I've ever had the pleasure to dip. It just kept getting better with every bite. I ask them to never change the recipe. My wife and I shared a steak sandwich that was equally as tasty and satisfying. She was very delighted with their choice of bread. It seemed to me to be a croissant and hoagie roll hybrid. But seriously, I would spread their guacamole on almost anything. I've day dreamed about putting it on a big ole juicy burger. 😋 Yum. Go now. Eat and enjoy.

The thing is I came in last night and everything was fantastic!!! I was telling everyone at work about the experience I had at Los Arcos in Oxford, AL. However, tonight was a different story!!!!!
