The food is well above average. We recommend Sampler as an appetizer, the Taco Loco and the Burrito. The food was filling and so plentiful, that wa brought half of it home. Martha , our server was prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is comfortable and laid back.

By far, hands down, best Mexican cuisine since moving here from Texas. And better than most in Texas. The staff is all on top of the game. We have eaten at pretty much all of the Mexican restaurants within a 60 mile radius from Ozark and The Rodeo's here in Ozark is above all others. We go every week sometimes twice. Just go try it for yourselves. I have tried easily 2/3s of the menu and not one time have regretted it.

Recently remodeled, excellent service, very clean. I had fish Tacos and they were absolutely delicious. By far the best fish tacos I've ever had. I highly recommend them.

Never disappointed with this place.
The best and most authentic Mexican food in Ozark Alabama. I lived in El paso Texas for 13 years and I have found that the food at Rodeos is the closest thing to the food from Mexico that I can find here. Staff is always smiling and friendly. The wait for food isn't long at all.
I come here at least once a month and am always satisfied with whatever I order.

Some dishes hit better than others, but overall, I felt it was ehh. The spice level was low and if you don'tlike cilantro watch out for it in the salsa. The staff were kind and attentive. There were several televisions throughout; I felt this was unnecessary.

We go to Rodeo with our entire family fairly often. One of the best, if not the best, local places. Service is NEVER bad. Everyone is always so friendly! I've only ever had my order wrong once in a blue moon, and I've ordered a couple of different things over the years with changes/substitutions. Great service, clean restaurant, good food.

Excellent dinner here tonight. Great service; seated immediately and waitress checked in with us multiple times during our visit. This restaurant has a huge menu; food was delicious! We will visit here again as we pass through Ozark, Alabama.

Jenny was excellent. The lunch burrito is just an enchilada. The fajitas and tacos were better. The guac was good. Sitting outside cuts the noise down considerably. I'll go again and order something different and ask for Jenny again.

I think I got there late at night and there must have been parties or something. This is apparently the place to go when you have large parties of people. There were 3 different large groups there. When I arrived. Parties of 10, or so. So I believe from the crowds it's a great place for large gatherings.

The food is good. I just waited a long time probably because it was late. I was a party of 3. The service was very very good otherwise.

I had heard from a friend that of all the "Rodeo" restaurants in the area, this one was the best. Unfortunately that wasn't the experience I had. While the staff was cordial, I didn't feel particularly welcome. When I sat at my table, I could immediately feel that it was sticky. It was that kind of sticky from a table that's been wiped dozens of times but not actually cleaned. And the vents from the AC were leaking big fat drops of water onto my booth. When I brought this to the attention of my server, it was just a sort of "oh, yeah, well..." And they brought out a "wet floor" sign a few minutes later.

I am always trying to find good authentic carne asada tacos, and I was pretty disappointed but the ones I got today. I could already see that they weren't going to be authentic because on the menu they came with pico de gallo, sour cream and salsa verde on the side. I asked for cilantro and onion instead, like anyone who knows how to eat tacos does. I also had to ask for rice and beans, which is weird because even on a lunch menu, how is that not part of the entree? Rice and beans are extremely cheap, just include them. But the tacos were brought out without any lime! What??? The meat, disappointingly, was your typical pre -packaged beef fajita steak strips. They were bland and chewy.

To top it all off my total bill for a simple lunch for myself was $27. Queso dip, two "carne asada" tacos, a beer, and a side of rice and beans. This restaurant is just your average, but more expensive, faux Mexican fare in the US.

As a senior citizen, I find the serving sizes more than I can eat and I don't want to take leftovers home. All in all the food and service are both excellent, though their prices have gone up a bit. I miss Taco Tuesdays when I could get a single taco for a buck. Ah, progress!

UPDATE... We just finished lunch and Pedro was our waiter. He was so delightful and eager to make us happy. He didn't have to try too hard because the food was amazing although if you read My previous review above that still holds. So much food...no wonder Americans are tipping the scales these days. I had enough food to feed at least two if not four people. Though if I'm honest and I usually am, I ate it all except the beans which I took home. I wish I had thought to take a picture. Also, my daughter ordered a more mild salsa which I actually like better than their standard. But I don't like any food too spicy either.

Rodeo is definitely making a name for itself. They have remodeled. The restaurant looks beautiful, the staff is accommodating and friendly and the prices are in line with most restaurants in the area.

Excellent Mexican food is not that common in southeastern AL. Rodeo's is the exception. Waiter was attentive, dishes came out quickly and the food was delicious. Note; hot salsa is available upon request. It is handmade and definitely e'spicy!

First time going to this restaurant and it's the worst we have tried. We ordered chicken and steak fajitas for two and it tasted very bland like no seasonings were used. The salsa tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes. We also ordered a burrito and taco but the meat inside was bland with no seasoning added. The customer service was not friendly or helpful at all regarding menu choices. We wouldn't recommend this Mexican restaurant at all. El Palacio is so much better!

Place has been ok before but not tonight! Went in starving left starving food was awful lettuce was rancid!! Mentioned it to our waiter she just said sorry manager wouldn't take it off our ticket he said they don't have bad food lol yea right! Don't eat at Rodeos!

The food was good, but they did get part of the order wrong. They fixed it quick though so not a huge deal. Service was fast, and they were able to make sure we were satisfied. Music is too loud, and I can't have a conversation without feeling like you need to yell.

Great place for a date or just to take the family for a pleasant eating experience with Mexican atmosphere and good seating inside and outside. I would recommend anyone that likes or doesn't care for Mexican food to give Rodeos of Ozark a try and I think those that don't care for Mexican will come again.

I’d love to give a four, maybe a five star rating but it took forever for someone to acknowledge that I was even in the building. After I was finally seated it took a while before anyone noticed me. They have help wanted signs out front so I’m chalking it up to they are short staffed.

When I finally placed my order the food was out very quickly. I had their Chile Poblanos. Absolutely amazing food! My server was also on point and very attentive but not overly so.

I really love this place and I hope I get to upgrade my review to reflect great service on top of excellent food.

We actually went another restaurant because this one did not show a bar and we enjoy eating at a bar where you can chat with others. But when we arrived there it had bright lights, crying babies, and the barstools were 6 feet apart even though The President has declared the pandemic to be over. So left there and came here and were glad we did. Delicious food, top shelf Margarita at very reasonable prices and a fantastic waitress, Monsy. We step a Mexican restaurant’s as we travel and this was a true ‘find’.

Great Mexican place to eat and enjoy conversation with someone. Margaritas lacked on the alcohol, but food and service were superb. Highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer.

They've been in ozark with a few of the same staff members for at least a decade as far as I know. Couldn't begin to count the number of times I've eaten there. Enough of the experiences I've had with their food and service warranted 5 stars, and even in times when it didn't I wouldn't have given much less. They did change the rice for a bit, and that honestly sucked, but they've since fixed that. Don't sleep on most of the menu options. I've branched out from my old usuals lately, and I'm very happy with that decision! Last visit I got the Chile relleno, and I'll definitely order that one again.

Ordered a our meal for carry out. Was told 15 to 20 minutes. We arrive at the 20 minute time mark, and my husband went in to get our order. He was in the restaurant 20 minutes. Came out and said that every time the hostess was going to get our order, if a customer came in , she would take care of them first. This happened 5 times. Got home with meal and had missing items out of a combo plate order. Was not going back for missing items because we live 15 miles away. Very disappointing.

After we were seated, the waiter asked our drink order and proceeded to walk away in the middle of it. We waited 20 minutes. The hostess at the door came and asked if someone took our drink order I said " Sorta" she said "Okay," and walked away. So they still didn't know what we wanted another 15 mins and the original guy guy came back with the drinks he heard, and we ordered the rest and our food at this point. Another 15 mins we got the other drinks. At this point I really just wanted to pay for the drinks and go bc it was already almost 8pm and we have school kids. 30 mins after that some food. The only reason I gave 2 stars is bc for the most part, they usually have better service. This was ridiculously bad this time however.
