San Marcos

Was highly disappointed yesterday. Went around 5:30/6pm to pickup my call in order and was highly dissatisfied. I ordered the Fajitas Mixed Nachos and it was more bell peppers and onions than it was steak, chicken && shrimp. Barely had the cheese && chips on it. I also ordered the El Paso, I think that’s what it’s called. It comes with rice, steak or chicken and shrimp. Shrimp was missing and the plate wasn’t full. I’ll post a pic of it.

Clean and great health code rating of 97!! This Restaurant came highly recommended, and we were impressed with the entire atmosphere. The food was average compared to other area Mexican restaurants, but I will tell you… That fried ice cream dessert was outstanding! For $3.75 … Look at the picture ❤️! We were in heaven, that was the best Dessert I think I’ve seen in a long time, thank you very much San Marcos for being a great restaurant !!!

Food was okay. Frozen ice cream was awesome. Must try. Only $3.75. I ordered TWO SMALL SOPES($9.5) which is waste of money. No one from my family liked it. Overall all good experience. Price was reasonable.

This is probably the worst review I’ll ever leave. Service started off nice then went down hill. It took a turn so fast. It took so long for someone to take our order. At least 15 mins. It about 25-30 mins for our food to come out. The food wasn’t hot. No one came to check if we needed anything. There were people around us who got their food quickly. Extra napkins which we were not given. No asked if we were satisfied with the food. No one asked if we needed a refill. This was honestly the one of the worst experiences I’ve had at restaurant. I’ll never return here. I felt so looked over at this place. I was only here for a few. It was the closet thing to eat. I definitely should have went further out to get food. If you guys are going to make certain individuals feel uncomfortable in your establishment. Maybe put up a sign or something. Not even worth what we spent at all.

The family comes here a few times a week. Food and drinks are always great, staff is friendly, and atmosphere is great for Pike Road. They always broadcast the games and during the holidays christmas music is on.

LOVE THIS PLACE STOP SEARCHING FOR TACO INGREDIENTS OR GOOD TACO PLACES!
They say "Dragons LOVE tacos" so then call me a dragon cause boy I love tacos.OH AND THE CHEESE DIP YUM ITS DELICIOUS their lemonade is good too the cantina is perfect but most of all its their food that gets me.sorry about the TACO picture it's supposed to be 3 but I ate one and they're so smart they put rice in the salt to prevent it from clumping up

Bad customer service they are not polite at all we arrived at 0815 and they didn't told us they closed at 9 at 9 clock they give me the pell and take away box. They have told me they close at nine im not familiar with system here cuz im visitor here and when i told them that you should told me that they started to smirk in polite way that's shame on them i will not go there again

Went for a take out on Monday as Sol was closed . The guacamole dish was too spicy and lemony with water dripping. The food order was wrong. One of the worst thing is when you order something and restaurant either sent the wrong item or missed the item. Will stay with Sol.

Middle of the road Mexican food that's been toned down. Seems like they tried to cater to a blander pallet, which take away from the actual quality of the food. They should refocus to their heritage/ base line of Mexican food. They make quality food. It's just turned down to a mild version of what it should be. Great for those with IBS or dislike for strong flavors I guess.

Solid Montgomery Mexican. Good for lunch or dinner. High ceilings, clean and festive atmosphere is very nice. Large selection of dishes. Friendly service. I recommend the elote/street corn, and ask for their homemade hot sauce.

My family has been going to San Marcos in Pike Road since it opened. It has always been a positive experience. We eat there every week.
Tonight, we went there for dinner. When I received my food, I noticed after a few bites that there was a hair on my plate. I told the waiter, and he removed the plate; I did not want a replacement. A few minutes later, the manager came to our table with the hair in his hand, held the hair up, and told us he had walked around holding the hair up to his employees and it did not belong to any of them, and then he said it looked like my husband's hair. We were both completely shocked! I let the manager know that this was horrific customer service - to accuse long-standing customers of doing something like that. I was so upset that I cried. And it was completely wrong of him to bring the hair back to our table; that was the most absurd part of the whole experience. We did not ask for a discount, and we paid for my husband's meal and drink, and we tipped; we simply expected to be treated in a kind and professional manner.
I spoke with the manager twice, and he did not think anything about what he did. I asked for the owner's phone number, but the number he gave us did not work.

I drove a long ways, on the front door it states that you close at 9:30. I got there at 9:20 and upon walking up to the door they lock the doors. Poor Service.

This is by far the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The salsa tastes like tomato soup. Just throw a little cilantro and onion in there to add some flavor. Chile Relleno tasted like dog food. If you have ever had decent Mexican food, don’t ear here.

Been eating at San Marcos for over 20 years, starting at the original location on Burbank Drive. My family usually eats here one per week. Staff is always friendly and service is fast. Do yourself a favor and start with the queso dip!

SERVICE IS BS !! We’re being served last and I’m guessing because this area is what it is and we’re AFRICAN AMERICAN!!!!!! and to me that’s really bad customer service we deserve the same treatment as everyone else! Queso is watered down people walked in after our party got served before us had their drinks before us as well. Terrible!! I won’t be coming back. Today is my moms birthday and we’re highly upset

Visited this place on the way back from a craft show in Pike Road. Drinks were awesome and the food was simply amazing! I wish I would have got that picture of the Sizzling Fajitas and the other food but it was fantastic and we were hungry. Next time on the pics and there wi be a next time!

Came from out of town on a business trip and decided to stop by. Food was good but some servers were talking badly. A blonde short girl and large girl with really long hair and a tall man who is kinda balding. I over heard them in the bar talking awfully about customers and other coworkers in Spanish. You cant speak in spanish and not think other ppl because they are white cant speak spanish. Bad environment! DONT RECOMMEND!!!!! would given zero stars.
