El Pastor: Resturante, Taquiera y Tienda Mexicana

Working from out of state... don't be deceived by the exterior or interior, because it is kind of a hole in the wall place, but my meal was amazing. I had two beef and two chicken empanadas, with grilled jalapeños. I don't know what they used to grill the jalapeños, but they were phenomenal. Empanadas were so filling that I had to take two back to the hotel. They also had like a salsa bar and I love hot and spicy. Two of the salsa met and exceeded expectations.

You can tell that they make their own chips. Just a tad bit greasy, but they were lighter than most restaurant chips. All in all no place is perfect, but my meal was enjoyable.

Also, the empanads are not on the restaurants menu, but are on the menu in the pictures listed for this post.

Very good tacos. I tried the Al Pastor, Carnitas, Buche, Asada, Lengua, and Chorizo. They come just bare meat on tortillas but thanks to a very robust salsa bar, these turned out to be very fulfilling tacos. The tortillas are very good, flavorful and just the right temperature and fried right. The salsa bar was well stocked with onions, cilantro, salsa verde, guacamole salsa, and plenty of hot sauces. Very good and very authentic (good to know Spanish or bring someone who speaks it). Great value. And they have a good selection of Mexican candies and snacks for purchases.

I stopped by during my lunch break and ordered 3 chicken tacos and a pineapple soda. It was the BEST meal I had in a while. It was delicious and a great price. It took them only 5 minutes to make my food and the owner talked with me during that time. He made sure I was satisfied with my visit, and I definitely was! Highly recommend!!!

Well.... I ordered a burrito and rice and beans to go. They gave my order to me and when I got home I opened up the box to find 3 tamales and no rice and no beans. They had given me someone else's order. I wasn't about to drive all the way back so I ate the tamales. They were great!!! It wasn't what I ordered but it turned out well. I wonder how the other person liked my burrito, rice, and beans.... Lol.

Terrible food. To say it was greasy, would be an understatement. I'll give any style good a try, and love Mexican food, but this food was nasty. First time at any Mex joint, I try a simple burrito, enchilada and tacos. Kind of, to have a baseline to go by. Overcooked chicken and terribly made enchilada, and apparently none of the grease was drained off the ground beef in the burrito and tacos. Needless to day, I wont go back for a 2nd chance.

Best place in town to get some delicious street tacos and fajitas. Fajita Mix is on point with large shrimps, skirt steak, chicken, and the sauté onion and pepper aren’t over cooked. Don’t let the location fool you. Friendly staff and the food is authentic. Highly recommended if you want some great Mexican food.

Well.... I ordered a burrito and rice and beans to go. They gave my order to me and when I got home I opened up the box to find 3 tamales and no rice and no beans. If you want real authentic tacos this is your place. And the tacos are huge, especially for authentic. A small bar for the fixings also was a nice touch.

yo pedi pupusas estaban bien pero pedi una taza de cafe y me dieron cremoran que vencio el ano pasado ya no me tome el cafe le dije ala dona cuando ya me iva ir y me dijo ke eyos yenavan el bode otra ves ! (nolo creo porq no usar el bote nuevo?)
i also.asked for a cup of water but the water was dirty......nasty omg never again

I would put this on the higher end of Mexican restaurants that I have been to, definitely better than average. Very good quality chips!
The barbacoa I had was fantastic!!
Their arból chili sauce was incredible, very hot!
Service was super quick and friendly!

I'm really torn on this one. This has to be the best Tacos de Lengua I have had in the river region. Unfortunately, the lack of service (sat for 15 minutes after finishing, only customer) will make it hard for me to go back. Which in my opinion is a damn shame. Excellent tacos!

El Pastor was a great stop on the way from Alabama back to Florida! The service was polite and the tacos were so rich! I definitely recommend the $2 beef tacos if you need a quick bite.

Mickey smith tires is the only place for tires that i shop from and purchase Basically if they cant get the tire(s) you want. Then you dont need them .whether you need new or used tires. They all are knowledgeable, and are very helpful. Honesty and courteous. They tell you how it is no sugar coating. Then they help to get it done whether they do it or a neighborly mechanic nearby.
