The best most authentic Mexican food you can get. Everything is so fresh and delicious. The salsa is the best salsa I ever had. It was so fresh and yummy. The quesa birria tacos are amazing. So much love and heart is put into the cooking and the food. One of the most authentic places I have ever been. The staff is so welcoming and nice. The hibiscus tea was yummy too and so good for you.

When I say BEST and truly AUTHENTIC Hispanic food, I’ve ever had! I truly mean that! I was blown away from start to finish! It was honestly all a great experience from the food all the way to the customer service! I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the tacos. I ended up eating them before I could think to snap a picture. But it started with the chips and salsa. When I tell you the best salsa I’ve ever had, I mean it! It was perfect and FRESH! And the tacos, just omg I’m getting hungry again just thinking about them! Everything was perfect! You definitely have me locked in, and will be back soon at that! I loved every bit of this place even down to the casual conversation!

We were blown away with the quality and taste of everything that we ordered. I felt like I was literally in Mexico, eating freshly prepared local cuisine. We will definitely be back. I wish I had taken photos! Oh and the tres leches cake was delicious also!

Visit this New Mexican store and cuisine just this week, it reminded me of home “Mexico” why because it’s authentic home made food, we had the “tortas” it’s a Mexican sandwich, best I have had, I had the carne asada and my daughter had the ahogada torta.if you are looking for a place to relax,eat and look around to see what they have and are willing to try something authentic this is the spot, will definitely be back for more…

This place is awesome!!! It has a tiny menu but EVERYTHING is delicious. The street corn is life changing. We had a ceviche tostada, cachete and asada tacos, and chicken quesadilla. Everything was fabulous!!!

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food that is fresh, delicious, and unique, this is the place. Hubby & I tried it last weekend and were thrilled. Don’t let the location fool you. Yes, it is a small, non-descript place located in a strip mall. The seating is very limited, and right now the market part of the business is still developing. But there is magic happening back in that kitchen, folks. You’ll see the handwritten menu posted on the back wall, and the family staff are so eager to explain the dishes to you and answer your questions. We ordered a variety of dishes to sample and all were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the street corn (messy but worth it!) and the street tacos—fresh, perfectly seasoned, roasted meat and fresh toppings on a tasty corn tortilla. The chicken and cheese quesadillas were simple but delicious. A fellow diner said the pork torta and the ceviche were outstanding, so we’ll try them in our next order. Can’t wait! Sauces are on the table to kick up the heat as you prefer, but all the dishes are well-seasoned without being overdone or masking the quality of the food.
So, if you’re looking for a cheap TexMex ground beef burrito the size of your head on a plate smothered with bland rice and beans, this is not the place. If, however, you’re searching for genuine, flavorful dishes made with fresh ingredients that actual Mexican families would serve at their table, you’ve found it in La Chinita. Definitely worth a try!

Update: This is still my favorite, but they MUST do something about the slow service. We did a DoorDash order that they overlooked. When hubby arrived to pick it up, he had to wait 40 minutes for a simple order in a for restaurant with only 2 diners. No apology or offer to comp some of the cost. The last time we ate there, we had a similar experience—it took 50 min to get our food with only one other occupied table. I love this place but if this keeps up, they’ll lose customers, including us.

Please let this be a restaurant that sticks here🙏 I stoped earlier today and fed my addiction to street corn. The service was amazing the two ladies behind the counter were so sweet. We are going back around Valentine's Day for there street Taco heart shaped platter. This is my new spot🙌❤️

The food was on point! I had the table side guacamole and the California Style Burrito (asada). It was all delicious! I very much enjoyed having something that was more authentic and not so Americanized. I can't wait to come back and try something else. 🧡💙

Food was authentic and good. Small portions. Street Corn was fantastic! Restraunt needs cooler air conditioning...not comfortable for dine in. No prices and small menu. Will go back in fall when weather is cooler.

Nancy and I moved to this area two years ago and had given up finding authentic Mexican food. La Chinita is the most authentic tasting Mexican food we have had anywhere in a long time.
Authentic, fresh, and sooo much flavor! We had cerviche, guacamole, Street corn, pork quesadilla, and steak burrito - all so good! All the ladies here are very nice and make you feel welcome. Highly recommended and can’t wait for our next meal.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give. My husband and I had lunch here on Sunday and it far exceeded expectations. The flavor of the food, freshness of ingredients, kind staff, and family atmosphere creates an experience that will keep you coming back for more. Street corn is a must! I had the street tacos and my husband had a torta, both with chicken.

And the torta showered in sauce. Messy but kill’n it.
Best asada in town. Customer service was great. Super kind and welcoming. This is amazing food. The flavor was explosive!!! Everything from top to bottom.
They are just getting started. It is also a little market. Give them a try, give them your support. Prattville has very little in great food. Never mind what type of food it is. It came straight from their love and soul. Pure comfort!
