Poco Locos Mexican Grill

Went in with a party of four. Even though it was already busy we were seated promptly, and served just as quickly.

The staff was super helpful, and quick with everything. The food and drinks were all put in a snap.

The food was good, but won't go as far as to say that it was the best, but still far above average. Everything was fresh, and the portions were huge!

I also loved that you get a huge glass for your beverage so you don't have to ask for refills, but they are still offered if you need.

Great place, and would recommend if you haven't yet tried

It was our favorite place to eat. the last 2x there was a hair in our food.. the waiter Alexis is an absolute jerk. they offered to replace the food and we didn't ask for any compensation just merely letting them know there was a hair in it for the 2nd time. he proceeds to come over and yell at my gf and say we don't give out free food and she tries telling him she didnt ask for any compensation and he walked off after yelling while she was still talking.. just walked off mid conversation... that's not the 1st issue with him..

Our first time dining for late lunch, ordering Coctel de Camerón and Garlic Shrimp - both very delicious. Definitely worth the trip to satisfy the cravings!

Great food !! The restaurant has been nicely done !!! And the food fantastic!!Also our waitress was terrific !It is nice to have great restaurants to go to on the Alabama side and not to have to go to Columbus all the time !!!

I recommend going somewhere else. I got a to go order and half my order was left out. When I went back the next day, instead of giving me what I already paid for, it was insinuated that I was trying to get something for nothing. I had my receipt with my cc num on the receipt. The mgr embarrassed me. I was coming home from work and I get dirty at work, so I got a to go order. I will never go back. Food is D+ at best. No one has ever accused me of stealing. I'm insulted! I don't normally post a bad review, but they earned it.

First time there and I loved the food. Chips and salsa were great and I had a Loaded Chimichanga. Yummy! They were very crowded so we chose to sit outside to shorten the wait. It got very chilly before we finished but we had a blast. Will definitely go again.

I had chicken with Mole sauce. I was surprised at how good it was. Usually this far from the Southwest or Mexico mole sauce is kind of bland. This one was excellent. Unexpected. I'll certainly go back and try other things on their menu

Great service, menu variety and flavor. Waiter took our nine orders by memory and all came out excellent. He followed up several times to see if we needed anything and then provide to-go beverages for us. My first visit was great. I’m sure I’ll go back again

This is our go-to place when we just can't decide what we want. All the food is amazing. Yhey have some of the freshest tortilla chips you can find. The service is always great. The staff is very friendly and is always smiling. Great place to go eat, hang out and watch a game or two. I recommend you save enough room for a sopapia for dessert. You won't be sorry.

Will never go here again. If you are not from around here, except to get seated after the people that are, even if you come way before them. Been all over the world and this is by far the worst costumer service I have ever had.

Lol edit to what the owner commented.... we literally watched 4 families of 1 more than our party get seated before us (could have put the tables together). No bull we saw a family come in 20 minutes after us, which had more members of its party then we did, and get seated before us, which we knew they were not on the list before we were. Please know we were trying to occupy 3 young children while they were seating all adult parties before us, in which had came after us.

I visited this restaurant with a small group for a retirement dinner. The atmosphere was good and our server was great. That is where it goes bad. The food was terrible. Rice was so dry it was like eating sand and was not cooked because myself and two others kept biting crunchy grains of the rice. Enchilada, Tamale, and Taco was very bland, no flavor. I was highly disappointed and will not be back. In my opinion go somewhere else.

We really like the food here, sometimes are better than others. Great service. Overall a solid restaurant with great salsa/chips. Love the enchilada's (do not recommend the ground beef ones) chicken and cheese are the best. Great steak quesadillas.

A 3% charge is added for all card transactions. They even added the charge twice when they ran the tip, except the charge for the tip was 3% of the total bill again so we ended up paying 6% of our bill for using a card. This is a sign of a massively failing business, and I’d be worried where else they cut costs. The food was just a generic Mexican menu anyways, which you can find anywhere else.

Overall not a great experience. Atmosphere was not inviting. Their idea about a Texas Margarita that they mix with a spoon in a barrel. It frankly is disgusting. Chips were cold Salsa had no flavor. The only reason this place was full was due to the fact there is no competition for them. Oh will add the bathroom was filthy.

My family and I love this establishment! Never a bad meal. Recently had a crew of 14 show up for a celebration dinner and everyone got us seated as quickly as they could and orders were correct. It was a pleasant celebration. Thank you and highly recommend.

Wasn't bad new spot. I gotten better portions with the carna sada meal at other restaurants. Drink was ten dollars I didn't feel any effects from the tequila. That was not a great experience I spent around eighty bucks. Next time I will probably choose another meal and no alcohol not for ten bucks a pop.

They add 3.5% if you pay with any card. So be aware. It's a mexican restaurant, just like any other. Food was bland, not really seasoned and not a lot of flavor. Even the cheese sauce really didn't have any taste to it.

Very nice looking place. Food was dry and bland no flavor at all, kinda pricey (4 people plus group gratuity $60 one being a kids meal) Waiter seemed agitated with the large group we had (softball team) someone could have helped him out. Probably will not be going back.

Took my husband and he's in a wheelchair and no one knew how to handle the seating. I asked if we could go outside and they told us if we didn't mind not to sit outside that was kind of awkward so we get seated at the table in the center of the building four seats which we had to move two seats just to get the wheelchair there.

I gave this place a so-so review before, but today I went and it was phenomenal! The server (Emily) gave this very tired mama all the time in the world to decide and really made me feel like a guest. Extra bonus, the food was delicious. Shredded beef quesadilla was *chefs kiss*!
