Mi Casita Mexican Restaurant Southside

Fantastic! Best Mexican food we've had anywhere. We went on a Saturday afternoon and they were busy but wasn't hard to find a parking spot. We had a full order of Cheese Nachos with Jalapenos to start and sweet tea. My husband had the Chicken Fajitas and I ordered Pollo Ranchero and a single taco. It was all delicious and very appetizing looking. The nachos weren't microwaved like some do and the Pollo Ranchero was the best I've ever had. Large portions of chicken, seasoned, and actually grilled; you could actually taste the smoky grill flavor. Yum! Same for my husband's Fajitas. He said the chicken was seasoned to perfection. Overall great great food; it was our first time there and we'll definitely visit again

This is a beautiful new restaurant. Clean with a friendly and pleasant staff that enjoys their customers. The menu has plenty to choose from. The prices are competitive to other Mexican restaurants in the area. We were there at around 6pm the crowd had not hit yet, our food was out in a matter of minutes, hot and delicious. We throughly enjoyed our visit and definitely will return.
Note: this restaurant is always packed every evening that’s how good it is but a big plus, they are expanding! So the seating will double by the end of April. This is our Mexican restaurant from now on.

Food was excellent! We come here often and it is always as expected. Has an outdoor seating area that will be nice in fall and spring. Alabama summers are too hot to enjoy this space now. Service is always speedy and courteous.

There is a reason this is one of the higher rated restaurants in the area. Food was delicious - great portions and perfectly seasoned. Our meals came out fast and fresh. The servers kept on top of our drink refills without being asked. This place was clean and folks were friendly. Can't wait to go back. They have amazing Mexican food with enough options to please everyone.

Awesome food. The staff was pretty cool too. Only thing I didn't like was the seating in which we sat but I understood. It was the only seat available. All in all great experience. Highly recommended. Great place for date night or just having drinks with friends.

First time visiting Mi Casita !!! We went for Valentine's Day !!!! The place was decorated for it.....red hearts all around....sooo sweet !!!! Everything was super clean and everyone was super friendly !!!! I would come back just for those attributes !!! The food was OK, but nothing compared to our favorite Mexican Restaurant where it is always hot and fresh and we always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Here we did not. The salsa did not taste freshly made, so not sure if that was out of a bottle or what. The menu has tons of options so we will go back and try some other items. Was super appreciate that they gave me a little red bear with candy for Valentine's Day !!!! That was a precious touch for all the ladies !!!! Thank you sooo much !!!! Perfect 10 for atmosphere and kindness of everyone, just have to get the food up a notch, but we will be back to see your smiling faces !!!! God bless you all !!!!

There is nothing not to like about Mi Casita. It is clean, staff is friendly & professional & the quality of the is spot on.
The selection of entrees is amazing. Every time of day you can expect hot, delicious food. If you have a non-Mexican cuisine lover they also do a great rib eye steak.
If you’re in the Gadsden area make sure you go to Mi Casita, you won’t be disappointed.

I thoroughly enjoyed and devoured my lunch special steak fajitas. Excellent. Just enough. Nice size sides & portions. My guest enjoyed her chicken fajitas. I had a nicely flavorful icy lemonade. Delicious! I was also given a lemonade for carryout.

Such a huge facility.I saw a smaller main entrance room, then me & my guest were escorted 2 a larger room. I also saw closed sliding barn door to an even larger dining area. Seems to be a great venue for parties, celebrations and get togethers.

And there was an area for dining outside. Nice!

Everything appeared freshly cooked, clean restaurant and a very cordial server. I gave her a $10.00 cash tip!

While traveling, we needed a place to have dinner and didn’t want fast food. I used Maps to look up nearby restaurants and then clicked “top rated”. Mi Casita was on the list! We were very happy with our meals. A good place to have dinner!

They're some of the best business owners you could ever imagine and there are hands on with all there locations in Etowah County. Thia business is built off FAMILY FIRST and great FOOD!! KID FRIENDLY, even if you're w/party or just couple/ few people that want to enjoy a afternoon margaritas or beer delicious tasty food. I've been going to this business before it was even a business the owner used to serve for a local Mexican restaurant and he took and done what they lacked in areas, bc he was people person and he knew what the locals wanted other than just on the menu that's a great venue/food/drinks/specials/loyalty/ like FAMILY....

I enjoy the food here very much. The staff are also kind. The only recommendation I ask of them is to filter the water for drinking. I'm very picky and others didn't notice, but the water has a dirty flavor to be as it does in many places in the area. Anyway, totally recommend!

If you love Mexican food, give MiCasita in Southside a try. The restaurant is gorgeous. It is locally owned and operated by the sweetest family.
The food is delicious. I highly recommend the shrimp and avocado salad.

The food here is exceptional. We eat here at least 3 to 4 times a month. Unfortunately their service needs a lot of work. Since their food is delicious, we still come:) Beautiful restaurant interior design and so many items to choose from and delicious Vegetarian.
