Food was excellent. There was no wait and we had a nice table. We went as a group of 4. The service was fast and accurate. The server was attentive and well versed on the menu items. A great time had by all. Ate there after seeing Bellingrath Gardens Christmas lights.

Very disappointed in our service last night. We had a party of 8. Our server advised us in the beginning she had a large party outside she was tending to and she would be right back to take our order. 30 minutes later and two trips to the bar to order our own drinks we were hunting down another server and a manager. Nice young man immediately came over and took care of us. NO MANAGER EVER CAME TO OUR TABLE DESPITE OUR REQUESTS. Our original server finally came in and finished out the night with us. Mind you, we don't blame her, we blame whomever set her up with a large party outside as well as inside tables. BAD MANAGEMENT. However, we settled our food tab but we were still enjoying the evening and wanting more drinks for which we had to chase someone down to get those or go to the bar. AND, had to endure the dirty dishes left on our table. They were not busy enough to use that as an excuse. Never have we encountered this problem here before. We will be back but should this happen again we will take our little party elsewhere

Everything was amazing. From flights of margaritas to premium guacamole and shrimp ceviche as good as any I've had in 4 different Caribbean countries. The street tacos were so authentic.

My husband and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat on our way home from Florida and this place has some really good tasty food. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back here whenever we’re back in town. Highly recommend this place if you want some good tasting Mexican food.

I came inside and ordered Togo, the service was great they had told me where to go for Togo orders. The guy at the bar was very quick in taking my order, he was very communicative. The food came out within 12 minutes after placing my order, everything was right. The food tasted great. I love the atmosphere as well, they even had a whole for a birthday go on while I was sitting there waiting. Absolutely love it!

Never Had a problem other then when I do take my order I get aside of chicken and everytime it's a different price wit different ppl that takes my order...🙄I wrk close by and today I've called 5 time ls to place a order one time da gentleman pick up left me on hold for a good min I waited then called bk 30 mins still nobody picked up ...I get places are busy Ect...But I looked at this as a sign not to get da food..😬😏
Most times if da bartender can't get it they will let a server take it guess ya'll to busy to do that too

The food was ok. Price was a little high. Almost $40 w/ a tip for 2 lunch quesadilla plates. Got the lunch quesadilla and it was really dry. No toppings or cheese sauce on it. Just a chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. Large amount just needs some queso on it or some toppings. Our server was great and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic service, me and my friend stopped there after work last minute even though I really didn’t want to my friend insisted, they still sat us anyways knowing they didn’t have to. They closed within 10 minutes of when we arrived still took us and had a friendly attitude and we’re willing to work with us on the menu so we could get what we wanted even though they were about to close. I’m sure the entire kitchen hated us and staff. I felt so bad. But it was the only place still open.

I love this place. The quesabirria is incredible and my personal favorite. Anything I’ve gotten there has been great. Service is always great too. Each time my family has gone we have had a great time. The restaurant is clean and beautifully done. It’s spacious inside and the outside seating area is huge too. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love San Miguel! I’ve been eating here for 15 years and they are still just as good as when they opened. If not better. I recommend the molcajete, charro beans, quesadillas, chile relleno, enchiladas, and margaritas! They always have our food out SO FAST and the service is great!

When we walked in the front door, the video advertisement on the wall said Thursday night was fajita night for $15.99. However, the fajitas rang up $19 (chicken) and $21 (chicken and steak). When we brought it up, and went to the front to look at the video with the manager, it seems as though somehow the video advertisement had changed. Then the manager told us fajitas were on Wednesdays, and the video never said Thursday night Fajita night. Even the workers in the front remember the advertisement showing Thursday night as fajita night. The fajitas also had very little chicken and steak. I never leave a negative review. But, I will not be going back here.

I am a long time customer of San Miguel in Theodore and aztecas in Tillman’s corner!! The prices of the margaritas have absolutely gotten insane!!! $12 for a 16 oz is crazy!!! When aztecas went to over $8 I thought that was crazy but $12 is just absurd!! Thankfully aztecas hasn’t went to $12 yet but he said it was coming!! I remember the days that happy hour was .99. Armando $12 ANYWHERE in mobile is ridiculous but if you have to raise the prices of the new places in actual mobile fine but leave Theodore and Tillman’s corner the same!!! If not, you will lose long time customers!!

The shrimp cocktail is very good! So is the chile rellenos. Most of the waiters are very efficient. Its nice and clean! Luis is the most efficient waiter I've ever had !

We went on a Tuesday night and we had about 8 or 9 people in out group we got sat outside in the corner and literally were forgot about most of the night. Every time somebody would come to the table it was either someone we had a flag down or it was a different person. I never saw the same server twice they brought us drinks never came back after about 30 minutes waiting we asked for somebody they came and took our order. We waited another hour for food kept where it was. The manager said it was behind him and then it took another additional 20 minutes to come out. They only brought half the table out and then when they finally did bring the other half out, it was wrong. Messed up the bill three different times automatic gratuity to it, I’ve ever had this place that don’t think I’ll be going back for a while.

Visited with family on Mother's Day and received excellent service even though it was very busy. The servings were plentiful and tasty. Prices were reasonable. Classic Mexican decor in this large restaurant. Also has outdoor seating and good parking.

This San Miguel location is not great at all. Everything was poor: food, atmosphere, and, originally, service. When we first arrived, we were seated at a terrible table where workers kept walking past and bumping us and the table, but no one would stop to take our order. The only reason I gave 3 stars for service is because the person who finally stopped was really nice and attentive although she spoke very little English. In all, if you want decent Mexican food, go somewhere else.

Fantastic food served quickly by friendly attentive staff who are on the ball in a relaxed atmosphere. A clean quiet affair whether for lunch with the coworkers , drinks with your girls or a nice dinner just the two of you, the house or San Miguel is a welcome spot to grab a great meal and relax on the porch and listen to some live music or the soothing melodies of a mariachi band. Always tip the entertainers and the professional waitstaff, and do it well! Don’t skimp! because the Lord loves a cheerful giver! Gotcha on that one. JBP

I ordered take out. Food is very good but not much for the money. I thought I was getting 2 burrito supreme meals with rice and beans on side but only got burritos. That why I cut the review to 3 stars.
The item I chose was not listed online as Ala'carte . I'm very disappointed & still hungry.

We were there celebrating a special person birthday. The restaurant was not busy, and there was one other customer beside our party of four. Unfortunately the server Yajaira was not very attentive, she didn't understand what we were asking her for, (example: how much was an extra scoop of ice cream, or did the restaurant sell coffee in the afternoon?) simple questions that a child could answer, but she didn't. After several times repeating the questions she finally understood what was being asked 🙄. We were sitting outside and she didn't come to check on us nor did she come to collect the bill after we finish eating. One of our party guest had to go inside to pay our bill. We did notice that our server was sitting down talking with other staff members in the restaurant This server needs to be in the back preparing food not interacting with customers. If I could give a zero for customers service I would.

Enro was out server last night. He was the BEST. Very attentive. Practically memorized our order, kept the tea flowing, and was welcoming in general. His whole vibe is the reason we will be back. We typically go to Azteca in tillmans corner but they were packed, and with service like we experienced here, We will absolutely be back. 💜

Unfortunately I do not remember our server's name, but her service was outstanding!! She was highly attentive to our table and was like a ninja with drink refills! We came in during the church rush on Sunday with a party of 8 and were seated promptly. I've never had a bad meal here. I tried the torta al pastor and really enjoyed it! Thank you for a great dining experience!

Sadly I was not that happy with our dinner. When I get enchiladas, they are normally a meat like chicken that are baked in a tortilla in cream sauce. What I had was a corn tortilla filled with chicken and rolled and topped with red sauce. Maybe what I like isn't authentic, but to me it tastes better. The refried beans and rice were fine. Just nothing very exciting. My wife had something different but with all the same fillings and she agreed, it wasn't what she expected. The service was great, very kind, and attentive. Food was served quickly and very hot. Just not what we were expecting.

Our family rolled in just before Christmas and just before closing. Sorry to the crew for being one of THOSE groups! But the staff was friendly, attentive and amazingly great attitudes towards our own jubilant selves.
As to the food. It was very good. From the tacos to the Victoria bowl and the simple salsa and chips 😘🤌 Well done. We expect to be back.

The food was average. I ordered the birria tacos which were very good, I also ordered a steak taco which was very dry and had no salt on it. The cheesedip was cold and needed a bit more chili taste to it. The horchata was very sweet, but not too bad. The restrooms were a mess and out of paper towels and had toilet paper all over the floor. The server was good except for not checking in very often towards the end, however it was near closing so that was understandable. Overall not a bad experience, just average.

The parking lot was really full, but we were seated immediately. Chips and salsa delivered right away. Our server, Sarah, was on top of keeping us happy. She even brought limes to squeeze on my guacamole I wanted to take home so it wouldn't turn brown. Food was delicious!!!

Came in to eat about 8:30p.m, sat at the bar took about a few mins before anyone relized we were there, because all the servers and bartender were sitting around talking or walking around with thier phone in thier hand. We got our drinks and then they asked if we wanted chips and salsa, well duh, isn't that what they always bring out. Then it took about another ten mins to even ask if we were ready to order, because again all sitting around talking. Got our food, which was hot and good, but after that, nothing. Didn't even ask if we needed another drink or anything, the bartender went and sat down and started eating at a booth, I had to stand up and look like I was going to leave before she came to give me the bill and a togo box. Will not be back.

We were seated immediately, chips and salsa were placed on the table within a minute and our drink order taken and drinks were quickly delivered to the table and order taken. I ordered the steak taco salad and while waiting for our food our chip basket was getting low and it was replaced with a full basket of warm chips. Food arrived and looked delicious. The only negative that kept this visit from being 5 stars was the steak was not hot or even warm, was around room temperature. It was tasty but wish it was warm and tasty. Would recommend and will eat here again.

Our server was like she was somewhere else we had to ask for our drinks we were served out food no forks and napkins had to ask our table asked for the board of drinks on the rocks we were served frozen one instead we had to ask several times for our ticket then when we paid had to wait to get our cards back just was not a good night
