Texas fingers is good- all 3 (steak, chicken, shrimp) was cooked right… a little less than desired on cheese dip over the rice, but I would order again . Salsa not a fan , it was missing something. It was similar to marinara sauce.

OMG. Absolutely fabulous food. I met Hector as I sat on the deck and asked him for a suggestion. He suggested the #51 Molcajete. Holy cow. Shockingly good.

And ask for spicy salsa. It’s much better than the one they bring with the chips.
I’m will definitely go back

This place puts one price on their menu then charges another. Check your bill every time. Menu descriptions are not accurate. They served me brown rotten avocado. Absolutely do not eat here. Trashy crowd and terrible service.

Me and a friend of mine where passing through. We went in and drink a beer took 55 min to bring the food out. Portion was bery poor amd tasteless. Now im in the restroom because stomach is upset. Like wth!!!

I got the stake fajitas when I ordered the fajita nachos with stake the old dude that was our server was just rude and he started huffing and puffing and just down right disrespectful and the atmosphere was like a Walmart branded Mexican restaurant

Me and my friend went here and the food had a bad smell..he didn't want money bk but to let them know something wasn't right...the only thing the manger said was u ate almost all it..which wasn't true..he even ask for lime to try and kill the smell...it didn't...I was disappointed because I invite this person here...that's why I rate this place this way...sometime I feel because people know this is a small town..and don't have much time for lunch...or just getting something to eat with a friend...that they can treat ppl any kind of way...the funny thing on them .is he is A GREAT TIPPER..LOL..YOUR LOST! Came out on a recommendation, the entire dining experience was very pleasant, fast service on our orders and drinks. The tacos, burritos, rice, chips and salas delicious . Will be back to enjoy again.

They waited to tell me they couldn't make my meal until everyone but me got food at our table.
My replacement meal was good but everyone was done eating by time I got my food.

Payed 30.00 for lunch. They put some kind of spicy sauce that resembles barbaque sauce. It was so bad I had to drink 2 huge cups of water. I could not even finish the food because I was drinking so much water. Worst Mexican fiatis I have ever had anywhere.

Worst experience yet by far. First time going there. Took our server 19 minutes to get our drink order. My husband was then served not one but TWO expired beers. The chips were stale. We had a loaded fajita plate with chicken steak and shrimp. It had no steak on it and the shrimp were sour! It had to have been old and or expired. The servers did not ever come back once the food was dropped off. Drinks were empty and the beer was expired. We were there over an hour close to two hours for two people. We will not be back it was terrible.

Sitting on the deck enjoying a wonderful meal with my husband. Extremely fast and friendly service. Were visiting from ohio and I have to say this place tops anything near my home. If were ever in Alabama we will be stopping here again

This used to be a great restaurant. Here lately both the quality of food and service have declined greatly. Most of the meals taste like they have been warmed up frozen dinners and the wait staff act like they could care less if you are there or not. I did give this 3 stars because of past experiences but if I rated it on only my last few experiences it would be 1.5 to 2 stars.

Really good food! There was a bit of a wait for the food. ( however, they were busy!), never was checked on for refills on drinks. And I was suspicious that the cheese dip for the free table chips, may have been diluted wit/milk or something. As to it didn't re-harden upon, cooling... However' I do recommend this Place...

I got three tacos. The menu said $5.25. I ordered a Texas margarita. The menu said $7.25. I get to the cashier and it’s now $25 and change. He had the tacos marked at $7.89 and told me the menu didn’t figure tax. I asked if $2.50+/- was the correct amount of tax for $5.25. He said yes! This place is a rip off with mediocre food, lazy service and crooked policies. Stay away from here!

First time I went they gave me and others who I was eating with unwashed cups. So I decided to give them another try a few weeks later and when I order sweet tea I was brought unsweet tea. When I told the waiter that I was given Unsweet I was told to sweeten it myself. Absolute waist of money...

We sat for like 20 minutes before they gave us menus and when they got us menus they didn't give us time to look I asked for more time found what I wanted then they didn't put my order in refilled my drink and gave me the wrong drink.

Very disappointed. Took my family there for a New Years celebration. I got enchiladas and could not eat them. The red sauce was clumpy and the consistency of ketchup. My daughter got a fajita burrito and it had about three pieces of meat in it. The fajita plate was not steaming and the guacamole was brown. I won’t be back.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The food was plentiful and delishous. The staff was very nice and friendly. The service was a little slow but that may have something to do with the covid 19 rules and regulations..the food made up for the slower service!!

The staff and kitchen were prompt and on point. And while there may not be any great wow factor to the interior, since the South of the Border theme is tastefully down played, there is also no wait to be seated or served. The fajitas were brought out exactly as I ordered, just as the flavor was what I expected. The prices are also comparable with other restaurants in our area. We enjoyed our meal and will gladly dine here again in order to sample more of the numerous menu items.

Worst mexican restraunt I've ever ate at service was terrible they served 5 tables in front not that bad until you consider we were the first people in the store at opening got ignored the whole hour food was late and wrong drinks were overpriced oh so eat AT YOU4 OWN RISK I WILL NOT SUPPORT THIS TERRIBLE BUSSINESS EVER AGAIN and I spend around 80 dollars everytime on drinks and good food didnt get either here

Arrived at about 12:30PM for lunch, maybe half the tables were occupied and there were three staff working the front. Totally of about 20 people as customers. It's a seat yourself place but no direction to do so.

Service: throughout we had three different servers including a member of the kitchen who actually took our order. The servers were nice but rarely checked on us. Our food took about 30 minutes to cook from time of order to table. We had to ask for more silverware. We ate for about 30 minutes. We then sat, obviously done, for another 15 minutes before we had to wave down a waitress for our ticket. 15 minutes passed and we didn't have a ticket nor do anyone come check on us. Ended up having to go to the cash register and telling them what we had. They seemed confused and couldn't figure out the ticket. Eventually we paid and left.

Food: food was poor. Chips were overcooked and the salsa was bland and watery. One of the worst I've ever had. Food arrived hot, so there is a plus. Other than that, bland.

Atmosphere: looked like a gas station restaurant. Bench we sat on in the booth was not padded and bent under my extreme weight of 155lbs. Piece of the front of the bench came off in my hand.

Price: about par for the course for Mexican fare. Customer beware, they charge extra for more chips.

I would not recommend anyone go here. Definitely better options.

First time dining. Poor experience. My menu was filled with salsa. Service was extremely slow, food not that great. Maybe it was the Christmas parade crowd that had them swamped. Did find out that the servers DO NOT get to keep their tips!
