Munoz Mexican Grill

First time eating here and the food was really good! I had fajitas and a margarita. The servings were huge! I had more than enough to take home after I ate 3 fajitas! I will return. The chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas were $15. Service was also great and fast!

Munoz is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town! Some of the best food and the best margaritas. The salsa is delicious and goes great with the chorizo dip (or plain cheese dip is chorizo isn’t your thing!) I used to always love the #39 Munoz Special with steak (steak over rice with cheese), but lately I’ve been moving on.. a little more plain and basic but you can’t go wrong with the beef soft tacos (add grilled onion if you’re feeling wild).. and I know it’s not really Mexican cuisine but sometimes I’m just craving chicken fingers and with as wild as it sounds… Munoz has some of THE best chicken fingers!!!! I’m not an avocado lover so the chicken soup isn’t for me, but I’ve never seen anyone order it and not love it!! The beef and steak burrito are also both amazing. I’ve never had something here I didn’t love and if you do - the staff is amazing and will fix it for you. They have great deals on margaritas. Amazing happy hour deals Monday-Thursday. (Also the half and half margaritas are so good - half frozen, half on the rocks… don’t knock it until you try it!!!) Noe is mine and my friends favorite server (we always ask for him if he’s there) but they’re all amazing. Sophia up from is great but again they all are. They make you feel like family.

Fresh, hot, sizzling food! Large portions! Better than the Munoz in Pinson and better than Mexicali Blues down the road! Great service. Has heated patio. The salsa is fresh and amazing!

Service was very quick. The Calif. Burrito was as Jorge said. "Excellent choice!". Perfect flavors and not one of empowering the others. My wife ordered a single taco. She had enough filling left over for nachos. The price was great and we will be back again.

We orderd the #29 & it was A LOT of food! Chili relleno, enchilada, burrito, tostado, taco & flauta (I think). Everything was delicious! We love the salsa & cheese dip here. 😋
This place has been clean every time we've visited here. The people here are so very nice. Service has always been super fast. Love the atmosphere too! Highly recommend.

Let start by saying I have been a munoz’s customer for years at theTrussville and the Pinson location’s I would like to tell you how many but it’s been so long I just don’t remember I sometimes go alone and sometimes with a date, sometimes I eat , sometimes I don’t, sometimes just for margaritas, sometimes for dinner, sometimes for lunch tonight I was made to feel so unwelcome by the bartender Joaquin, he kept trying to give me my check before I even ordered my dinner that I finally decided to just go somewhere else to eat so here I sit at El Patrons having my dinner and writing a review for a place that I will never visit again at any location but at least I feel welcome.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever visited. Ive been here over forty times and took at least 20 different people with me and every agrees the food is great. The proportions are grandiose and the price is cheap. The drinks are cheap. I ALWAYS order the Munoz fajitas.
