Wow! I just had a lovely time at El Sabor De Mi Tierra. I ordered tilapia for lunch, and it was fried to perfection! I don't know who the last customer ordered fish and complained that they found a bone. Lady or sir, I found an abundant amount of them in my fish, unless you want store processed fish like fish sticks, then you came to the wrong restaurant. Fresh fish comes with bones unless you want jellyfish or lobster shrimp or grabs. And whoever said you threw up at home, lol, you must be a Taco Casa owner or employee because if there's ever a place that deserves that comment, that's Taco Casa. Please, everyone that reads my comments I come with validation. I've traveled to 27 countries dined in Paris France to War Saw, Poland. To Dubai Kuwat Qatar and Uganda East Africa, my photos and reviews have garnished almost 5,000,000 views. To the lady at this mexican bakery, I still stand by what I said.

My wife and I had the Carne Asada, it said on the menu two thin Ribeye stakes, there is No way that was Ribeye, it was Skirt or Sirloin at best. Very tough and grizzly. The seasoning was not good either. All I could taste was Oregano. Not coming back. Mejoren su receta de Carne asada por qué estubo muy fea.

The waitress did not understand English and stayed on her phone. She was not attentive at all.
The Nacho Supreme smelled and tasted horrible. There was a huge chunk of ground beef, when I busted it up, the inside was a completely different color than the outside and cold. The cheese was melted then solidified and the whole plate was super greasy. I believe it was old, uncovered leftovers fresh from the microwave. I also ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri, I believe they sent a smoothie instead and it didn't have alcohol in it.
The salsa was good though.

I ordered Chicken Quesadilla with rice and beans…chicken was dry, there was no lettuce, tomato, or sour cream to put on it! Beans and rice not good…paid $16.20 for a poor meal! Won’t go back

Celebrating a family birthday party was fun and tasty at El Sabor. That’s the best Taco Salad (flavor) since dozens that I had at the Mike Monroney aeronautical center in air traffic control school. And the service was equally as good. Authentic cuisine and ambience. Then, the three cooks came out and serenaded the 70 year young for her birthday🎂🎉 What a Day!!!🎈

We ordered queso and chips and chimichangas. The queso wasn't warm it was already really clumpy and hard to dip. The salsa was good.
The chimichangas were dry and didn't have much seasoning. Just chicken rolled in a tortilla. No fixings to give any other flavor like sour cream or lettuce or tomato like usual Tex Mex the guac salad is usually on the side. Not here.
Other issue was you have to choose between beans or rice you can't have both unless you pay $3 more.
My husband found a bone in his so I stopped eating. It was hard to swallow anyway and I didn't finish a quarter of my plate. It's a small chimichanga and nothing packed on the inside and no salad on the side to dress it up.
A chimichanga is a fried burrito. I've never had a burrito that only contained chicken. Spice it up add some flavor and add something wet to help it go down. It's too dry to consume happily. Beans and rice were decent. Rice was a bit overcooked.
Our waitress was nice but didn't pick up on how unsatisfied we were because she never asked if we enjoyed it or if anything was wrong. Seeing full plates should give you a clue that your food is unappetizing. Especially when that was the only meal we had that day. Usually our plates would be empty.
We left and ate again because we left hungry.
Maybe work with a chef that can help you pair correct items to satisfy palettes. Dry food needs something wet to help it go down. If you insist on only chicken and tortilla then provide guac, sour cream, cheese, tomatoes or pico and lettuce on the side. Add an extra dollar to your price to cover cost. People will pay an extra dollar to get food that tastes great and pairs well together.
And for gods sake don't make people choose between rice or beans.
If you go here id suggest the beans so there is something semi wet to put with your dry chimichanga. But they dry out fast so eat quickly. Also I poured my salsa on it to help it with flavor and to wet it up.
Very disappointed. Won't be going back.
The owners comment is idiotic. Most people only review when they don't like something or they really like something so your comment is dumb. Maybe taking some constructive criticism would help your business to not be empty at dinner time like it was the day we went. I was honest and you want to throw out a comment like that. Loose more business not my problem. The way you react is very important. Get some class and learn how to cook then come back like you got somewhere to come from. If your business had another person in there with us at dinner time I wouldn't be able to say this. The city I live in would cancel your company for your response. No one wants to willingly do business with a donkey's butt.

I ordered a Chimichunga for me and two others. The meat was dry and i came across a bone while chewing it. I didn't enjoy the meal 😞. None of us did but we paid anyway! Maybe i should have ordered something else but i always stick with the Chimichunga.
