I love hole in the wall Mexican restaurants. They love cooking and wants you back over and over, I personally love their attitude service with a smile, but for me the food is above all the other restaurants I've been to in Tuscaloosa.

You new folks have to try this place, dis TACO CASA and make this your new a place

Only taste some quesadilla and it was good but I ate a corn up and not bad. I’m old southern and could have used some spice like black pepper. Not too much heat. Please try them and let me know what you think.

The Al pastor tacos here are the best I’ve ever had. The flavor was amazing, the salsa verde was great, tortillas were perfection. I ate in complete silence because I was at a lost of words from how good they were. The jamaica was also wonderful and sweetened to perfection. Coming back to Tuscaloosa just for these tacos.

Food was okay. Charged us $2 for a glass of water ($8) total and charged $5 for a glass of orchata. Ripped us off.

We own a window tint shop a couple of doors up from this place and we absolutely LOVE it! We think their Mexican tacos are the best- they have many other things on the menu but the tacos are our favorite. We always get the same thing every time and they know us by now and I don't even have to repeat the order. It is a very clean restaurant with great service and we highly encourage you to try it! A word of warning however, unless you REALLY REALLY love hot food, steer clear of the red sauce lol- it will set you on fire. The green sauce has just the right amount of kick and great flavor.

My new favorite place. Great selection of plates and salsas. This was my first time visiting this establishment and I will definitely be coming back. The environment, great tasting food and friendly staff made the experience 10/10.

I tried the al pastor and asada tacos. The al pastor were my definite favorite because they packed a bigger flavor punch. This is an authentic taqueria so expect to feel like you are walking into a taqueria in Mexico only with much better ac. There were many other things to try both on their menu as well as in their drink case and a dessert rack beside the check out. I don't think I would like menudo (never tried it) but I did notice it on the menu if you are looking for this favorite dish. I am looking forward to trying more menu items.

when i was in there a mexican man kept spitting on the floor in front of me then when i went to go put the toppings on my food. He did it again beside me .. mann i was highly pissed & disgusted i couldn’t even eat my food NEVER AGAIN!!!

Coming from a south texas girl that borders mexico....this food is amazing. The res en salsa verde was amazing and the service phenomenal. Highly recommend.

La comida es normal, yo pedí una sopa de res, no estuve muy satisfecho con lo que me cobraron, ya que pague casi el doble del precio porque me sirvieron frijoles y arroz, cuando pensé que era parte del plato, del resto bastante normal

Foods authentic
Mexican drinks were not.
"Jamaica" was grape juice and horchata tasted fake as well.

A real disappointment. Before changing owners several years ago I used to adore this place. Having lived in DF and other parts of Mexico I loved the tortillas warmed on the grill and grilled cebollitas as a free side on taco orders. The salsas and other condiments on the mesa de guarnición were fresh and flavorful. Then owners and name changed to its current version. The tacos then were okay, but a letdown. I discovered Antojitos Izcalli which weren't quite as divine, but they are excellent and all the food is very good. But I wanted to give Sazon Jarrocho one more try. Took my wife (who is a Nica) and we were horrified. Old and cold tortillas wrapped around wet grey carnitas seasoned only with excessive salt. The asada and chorizo were mildly better but still unpleasant. My wife's barbacoa was the only decent one. The salsas were thin and unremarkable. The agua de tamarindo was a powder mix. Thoroughly disappointing and we will never be returning. A shame as I like to give second chances. I'll never cheat on Antojitos Izcalli again.

Best Authentic mexican food we've had in forever. We stayed the night out here on our way back to Texas and this was a gem 💎💎. Not only was the food delicious but the service and ambiance was perfect. We enjoyed our Huraches and Torta Cubana. We recommend them 💯..!!

La mejor comida mexicana que hemos comido en mucho tiempo de regreso a Texas. Ni en Texas hemos encontrado un restaurante con comida auténtica que sepa igual que en México. Fueron unos de los mejores huaraches y torta cubana que hemos comido. El ambiente y el servicio es excelente también. Se los recomendamos 💯...!!

My mother was from Mexico, I know Mexican food, I travel the country every year and have had Mexican from Boston to Florida, and all through the south, and this was garbage, my father's tacos were tasteless hamburger, no sauce, no flavor, and expensive at $2.50 ea. I watched them reheat the asada for my burrito, it tasted old,was really greasy, I threw 3/4 of it away, anyone who thinks this is good has never had real Mexican food
