I think this is My New favorite Mexican Restaurant in Wetumpka.. The food is very good this service is very fast everybody was very polite everybody was very helpful I got to go order on the second time I went and within 10 minutes I was in and out on Tuesday at 8:15 pm... I love you look to the restaurant and the taste of the food is just great I really have enjoyed it a lot and if you have not tried El Patron... Please give them a shot.... I looked at the menu & it said "served with" when I placed an order over the phone all I listed was the desired meat thinking that everything else listed in the menu was included by default. No, it was just bread & meat...

Worst restaurant experience in a very long time, I'm honestly going to Taco Bell right after writing this to get something with actual flavor.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We were looking forward for some good food and drinks. The food was good however the drinks were not. We ordered margaritas with extra shots since the drinks were on the light side with liquor. Even the shots of tequila tasted water downed.
Our waiter disappeared half way through service and we had to find someone to finish the service and give us the check.

This was my first visit and I was super impressed. I am not a huge Mexican food fan but this dish had pablano peppers, mushrooms and a cream sauce over strips of chicken and I loved it!

Hands down my favorite mexican restaurant in Wetumpka. I typically get the street taco meal or fajitas. Their salsa is also really good.

Got seated seated right away, plenty of tables. You are greeted and welcomed as you enter the door. Chips and salsa as soon as you are seated. I ordered the grilled tilapia filet, rice and grilled veggies. Everything cooked to perfection. Drinks topped off quickly. Wife had taco salad, son had street beef tacos. Delicious. Not expensive. Excellent service. Ample parking. Can't go wrong with these folks.

BEWARE if you use a debit card to pay your bill. While the food and service is good, it is wrong to charge a $1.25 fee to use your Debit card. The bank charges merchants in the area of a $0.07 useage fee. We will not be back. This is just wrong.

Overall the food was pretty good except for a few minor issues. Some negatives: the rice was a little dry and bland. Not sure what kind of meat was served in the tamale but it was dry. One of our party members ordered a ribeye with shrimp, the ribeye (supposed to be a premium cut of steak) was very thin and tough. Not what I would have expected as one of the more expensive menu items.

On the positive side: the pico de gallo , lettuce, tomato guacamole and sour cream were all very fresh and tasted great. The beef quesadillas were filled with a hearty supply of meat and cheese. The Parrillada Mexicana, or plate of mixed meats, was amazing. All the meats were fresh, cooked to perfection, and tasted great.

Good Mexican restaurant. The menu had plenty of selections. I've gotten the Carnitas, the Chicken Fajitas, the Burrito Bowl, and the Molcajete and all were very good and more than I could eat, all at a reasonable price. Clean place, efficient staff, nice atmosphere. Great place to eat!

I come here every couple of weeks, when I don't want to drive to Montgomery. I usually get the carne asada, which is always good. Real Mexican chili con carne (no beans or tomato) which was mild but flavorful. Big portions. The food was good, and the price was reasonable. Military discount.

It was ok. The food, the service, and definitely the atmosphere is lacking compared to the El Patron in Prattville and Auburn. The food was bland, the service was more concerned about hanging out at register with all the other employees. The atmosphere was lacking.

Excellent Restaurant!! Our waitress, Jackie was awesome! The food was excellent with large portions and they got our orders correct the first time even with our special requests! The restaurant was VERY CLEAN!!! The atmosphere was very nice with good vibes!! We are glad we picked this Mexican restaurant, it was our first time eating here and we will definitely be back!!!

The best street Tacos I ever had! The atmosphere is really cool and the service was fast and friendly. The food was really, really good and the portions were generous. Salsa was homemade and the tortillas were fresh and warm when they reach the table. Absolutely delicious.

I think our experience would have been better if it wasn't the night of Christmas on the Coosa. There was a very loud group of folks at the back table so it was hard for our waiter to hear what we ordered. Other than that everything was good

Cindy and I shared the Pollo Loco, it was delicious. We started with their queso and some flour chips.

Great service, food delivery was fairly quick and the food was delicious! Portion sizes are quite large and my frozen strawberry margarita was perfect. We will definitely be back!

My daughter didn't like what she ordered. We had to ask for our check. When the server check on us and saw that my daughter had not eaten any of her meal. He didn't ask what was wrong if there was something else that she might like. We not be going back.
