Los Mayas was very busy when I walked in on a Friday evening at 6:30. Regardless, they seated me right away! I took about 3 minutes to find something on the menu and they came over to bring my drink and take my order. The food came out in about 10 minutes maybe and was freshly made and tasted good. The server checked in on me twice during my 30 minutes stay and without asking, brought me a to go cup with a refill of my drink. For me, that was awesome because I really did want another drink but I was leaving so I didn’t ask… my overall experience was on par with what a may expect. The to go drink was over the top and the quick seating was over the top for me.

Went and sat down to eat after work. They were getting ready to close in an hour. Most places you visit would not be fresh but I can promise you this was not the case. The food was good, fresh and hot!

Very good food. The menu isn’t updated so expect prices to be a few dollars more. They do have an active Facebook page as well. I had the lunch special at 4/$9.99 since it was my first time here. I wanted to taste a few different things. I
I have pros & cons….
Portions size was good. The taste was definitely there. I wouldn’t say it’s authentic but it’s filling and good. The salsa wasn’t spicy at all which is a plus because I don’t like spicy.
The chicken quesadilla literally looks like a taco, no veggies literally only chicken & hardly any cheese. I won’t order that anymore. My tamale was half eaten or broken in half.. I didn’t eat it because Idk which one it was.

Our food was delicious. Our server was fantastic. I had the chicken quesadilla supreme, so good! We all left happy!!

Updated: this time we had the margarita flight and we split a wrap. We loved it all!

Everything was cold. Manager noticed i wasn't eating and asked if everything was okay. I told him it was just.... cold... I don’t even eat cold sammiches. He told me his grandfather was the same way and then remade my food and brought it to me piping hot. Food was delicious. Very good customer service, just call me abuela. 👵🏽

The chips came out warm and were really tasty. Our waitress was vey accommodating and attentive. The food came out in a timely manner and was flavorful. The drinks were a hit as well and all for a decent price

Went and sat down to eat after work. They were getting ready to close in an hour. Most places you visit would not be fresh but I can promise you this was not the case. The food was good, fresh and hot!

Always a great time and I've tried most of the menu items and haven't had a bad one yet. Today I had the birria tacos. The red spicy tomatillo is so full of flavor I get it for items that it's not standard for. Beware it's hott but in a good way.

Got a to go order and the instant I paid for it that’s when they decided to tell me they ran out of this and that so I didn’t get it on my food. (Cilantro salsa etc) Would’ve been great to know when ordering and before paying. Absolute joke

The food was average. The mixed drinks were horrible. Ordered a strawberry daiquiri and it was so sour I couldn’t drink it. Then she brought a pina colada and it was just as bad. Very milky and the rum was over powering.

5 stars all around! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the service was fantastic. I will definitely plan on returning. I had the steak tacos with rice and beans, and it was awesome. I feel like the prices were good too.

Made a to g order late on Fathers Day before they closed, and from calling them to make the order to receiving it, the service was phenomenal and the food was the same. The cashier Crystal made sure to give a call once the food was ready, and made sure the food came to us as fresh as possible. For both the hot chimi dinners, and cold for the sopapilla ice cream. I’ve dinned at this location a few times and I’m always impressed with the services and food. Highly satisfied customer and will continue to support this location and food!

Stopped for drinks, chips and dip, no food. Had 3 large glasses of beer, 1 med, margarita, chips, guacamole dip. Bill was $37 & change, $45 w tip. I think gratuity was added. We like it here, but gratuity added automatically, No.

Good Mexican food. Pricey and smaller portions after the pandemic happened. Will go to one of the other 3 Mexican places in the area that give nice portions and are less expensive.

Had lunch here and had the Lunch Fajita. Service was fast and food was delicious in fact one of the more seasoned Mexican Restaurants around here. The refried beans were not flat or without taste but were very good. Cheese dip was decent as well. Now I don't eat onions or peppers so I just had chicken, steak and mushrooms but again the seasoning was on point and enjoyed my whole lunch. They also give military discounts. Def Recommend.

My family and I have been there twice so far and both times were sub par. The first time our ticket was $44.71. They added a zero to the end and charged our account for $447.10!!!! It took me making a scene for them to fix it but the damage was already done and overdrafted our checking account. Fast forward almost 2 years later to this evening. This time they added $91.45 to our bill and just tried to act all casual about it. I'll never go back.

Me what I want to drink and get some cheese dip and it’s been left out so it taste terrible then wait another 15 and they ask me what I want to eat and at that point I’m ready to leave bc I been there for half a hour

Great food. Enjoyed the singer. We had a great server, Brian. He was on his toes with all the craziness of Cinco de mayo. Great prices. I was camping at Wind creek camp ground and visited the casino then onto Los Maya's for an awesome dinner. Kudos to Lis Maya's and Brian.

Be aware if you’re picking up waitr orders or door dash they do not allow you to go through the drive thru which makes zero sense considering a order that was placed 20 minutes prior to me arriving- I have to go in and wait behind a line of people not assisted yet. Change your policy , no where does it state anywhere we can’t go through the drive thru! I was able to pickup times before from their drive thru they’re not clearly on the same page!

Horrible service. My family and I arrived at 8pm. The buisness was not packed but was really loud and noisy more like a bar not a restaurant. We received our drinks after about 10 minutes and salsa 15 minutes after that. The waiter was too busy flirting with the ladies at the next table to notice we never was able to place our food order. After 45 minutes no one even noticed that we haven't put in our food order. I left 10 dollars on the table for the drinks and told the waiter we were leaving. This place sucks!!!!!

First of all, this is my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant in the “River Region.”

Secondly, they serve the absolute BEST Chile con Carne I have ever had! Chile con Carne is a soup and is properly presented as an appetizer/soup. No matter what I’m going to eat, I always begin with Lord Maya’s Chile con Carne. Especially nice on a cold day, but I even get it in August.

Third, the “presentation” of meals served at Los Maya’s is exceptional. If you want to see something beautiful, order the Burrito Supreme (M5). They will make that with steak instead of ground beef if you ask nicely!

My wife and I have gotten meals from the Food Truck several times when they were up at the Redland Volunteer Fire Department and the food was great. We ate in the brick and morter restaurant the other day. Once again, the meals were just as delicious as we expected. And in the restaurant we could order adult beverages!

My sister and I went for a Taco Tuesday with the kids and grandkids. Both of the other Mexican food restaurants we tried to go to were packed out so this was a third choice and the food was delicious. I had a half order of chicken nachos I was only able to eat half. Very generous portions and reasonable prices. The iced tea was very good. We sat on the outside patio since the weather was nice. I'm surprised they weren't packed. I guess everyone was eating late because they were getting busier when we left at 8:30. Service was excellent.

99% it's just always my luck something isn't right with my order at most places and even a small mistake here is still a great meal we go here when we want good food, decent servings, and really good service.

I have never had food this sorry anywhere. Basically anything you don't want from a restaurant is what we got here.

Steak quesadilla had no cheese. Quesadilla had almost no chicken or cheese. It was floppy and the chicken tasted like it was reheated or microwaved.

Enchilada was broken all apart and there was a flake of metal on it. More like a beef corn tortilla scramble.

The beans were the saltiest I've ever had.

Oh and there was a hair in the food too.

Saddest Mexican food I've ever had. Too many other good restaurants in town to choose from. Please do yourself a favor and don't come here.
