I here for lunch with my husband and a friend. We were
Immediately greeted and felt welcome. Our server James was fun, attentive and provided excellent customer service. We snacked on chips and salsa for a short time and then our meals were brought out. The food was hot and delicious. We had a great time and we will definitely be back! I highly recommend you give Robles Mexican Restaurant a try!

My husband and I went for breakfast..I got breakfast tacos and they were just ok..not much flavor..if I closed my eyes and ate them..I wouldn't of known what I was eating..we had to pay $1.99 for chips n salsa at breakfast..no big deal except chips all broken n stale and salsa was possibly ketchup???.. won't return and can't refer...sry

Service was spotty. Waitress spent a lot of time letting people know "I'm cleaning tables as fast as I can" polite, bit still had a frantic air that could be toned down.
Ordered shrimp cocktail spicey (and dang was it spicey!) And an a la cart tamale. This is what came.

Good little Mexican place. The service was superb. They checked on us repeatedly. The salsa was good. It was spicy but not to spicy. The food was huge portions with good prices. We will come back.

This place is a joke food is horrible and not even made right tamales are heated in a microwave and dry and the menodo is not made right and has no homey in it and has no flavor if you want to wast your money your choice but taco bell has better food but good note waitresses are nice

I stopped here for some breakfast. I ordered the menudo. It smelled funny like it wasn’t prepared properly. No flavor. The carnitas taco was just ok. The chorizo taco was good.

We used to eat here every week and little by little the food and service has gone down n down we accepted the watered down salsa to start but then the portions got smaller and prices went up. Today the beans are like from a can the quest so runny it wouldn't even stick to the chips. The meat tasted like can dog food smells And when we did not eat and I tried talking to them thinking we'd get something else they were rude offered a discount all they would give was 7$ off a 50$ bill and were rude. After years of being loyal to them weekly for years we will never return. Wish I could load pics of the uneaten food and bill. At street taco shack getting good food now.

The salsa taste like a tomato base. The queso was cold and watery (we sent it back). We ordered fajitas, sampler plate, quesadillas and nachos. The beef was dry and over cooked on all plates. The cheese on the quesadillas had a weird taste and the meat was dry. The sampler plate was awful. The beef nachos again had over cooked meat. The fajitas were overcooked, the rice was dry and the beans were barely warm. The restrooms were musty and you can view the kitchen while waiting for the restrooms. The grills looked dirty. When are food arrived we took one bite and then got up from the table. The waitress added a discount (very little) and asked if we wanted a to go box (we said no and told her that the food tasted awful)! At this point a manager should of stepped in but did not! We paid for the $65 meal of 4 people and left.

4th bite into chicken chimichanga food found HAIR. Immediately lost appetite. Called waitress over and she took hair , not 1 person (Manager) came out to apologize or see if they could make it right. And what I did eat had No flavor. I use to live in the area and have had much better food elsewhere and that's where I'll go back to. I will not eat here again. Soon as possible I will be contacting the health department in Austin, Tx.

Blonde Hair found in our food and they said cook was Mexican with black hair but 2nd waitress was a blonde running in and out of kitchen with no one was wearing a hair net . Would not make it right, just ignored us. took our plates and charged us full price. We personally won't be returning.

I should have known what I was in for when the waitress couldn't recommend anything. The service was good but I think our waitress was having an off day. It could have been my fault because I did not word my order correctly. I asked for the same thing my husband ordered (because he gets his steak medium/rare when he orders a quesadilla) and then I asked can I get it with spinach too. I was hoping to add spinach and the beef but instead I got just spinach in my quesadilla. The salsa was not very good. The Pico de Gallo was pretty spicy though. It's just ok.

We had arrived at 3:04pm with a party of 9, to my surprise the girl in the front said they would have to refuse service because they were closing early. The sign on the door states closes at 5:00pm and the website stated closes at 5:00pm. Their comment was they only had one person to show up to work on a Sunday. Needless to say I will not be back but the Jalapeño Tree saved the day.

We had several flies at our table.
The menudo was pure grease and the tripe was complete mush.
No flavor, and no texture.
I found an actual hair in my food... Go try and different place if you want quality mexican food.

The food wasn't bad but I've had much better. The wife and I split an order of the Chipotle Chicken, glass of water and glass of sweet tea. Upon arrival the plate was very well presented as depicted in the photo. The Chicken was overcooked , dry and a little chewy but overall it was okay. The tea was tasty and the chips were great but the salsa tasted more like straight ketchup. Overall our experience was forgettable but our waitress (Riley) went out of her way to make sure we would NEVER come back again.

Two times we had to go searching for Riley for a tea refill, lemon slices for the tea and again for chips. When she finally returned with the basket of chips the entire basket was broken up chips so small you couldn't dip them in the sauce (photo attached). It was clear that Riley hates her job and she was successful making us hate this visit. As a restaurant owner myself I'm shocked the owners of this business allow this to happen.

I've cream machine was down and didn't have a lot to offer off the menu cuz it was 810pm.... Not sure what the problem was but whatever. The food was decent and server was polite and attentive.

What a fun family atmosphere my aunt and I were visiting town and decided to have a late lunch unfortunately by two the lunch specials had ended it was about 1:45 when we asked about them our food was prompt and delicious no problems the day after LOL as any true Texans my aunt and I love our chips and dip the dip is fresh and their chips are hot it's a small restaurant if you blink you might miss it but has a tasty menu... the fried ice cream is a must-try

I’m giving a two star only because the service wasn’t bad at all, however, we were 1 of only 3 tables there. I should have know it wasn’t going to be great based on the chips and salsa. The chips were cold and the salsa wasn’t very flavorful at all, lots of tomatoes. There is absolutely no difference between the ground beef nachos and the fajita beef nachos except the $2 price difference. The meat had no flavor at all. The flautas had little no meat at all. And the queso!!!!! Literally just melted cheese the consistency of water. Will not be returning. :/

First time we've been here. The food was fantastic and our server, James, was amazing and a lot of fun. Eating here was kind of tentative as it "looks" like kind of a hole in the wall place but everything was neat, clean, and tidy. No sticky menus or dirty tables at all. Many thanks to the management, the pride shows through!

Ok, so first off the server was very sweet and this is not about her at all. Actually she may the only thing keeping customers in this establishment. Ok, now that's over let's start with the salsa. The salsa was almost the consistency of a ketchup and had a very strange sour taste to it. The tortillas I asked for came to us burnt (there were only three) and stale as if they had been sitting out for hours (They were literally Popeye's biscuit dry). I gave it a chance and ordered a bowl of queso which got to us pretty quick. The queso was the consistency of a soup and looked like it had just been nuked in the microwave. It was not long after that I decided I didn't want to witness what atrocity would come out as my lunch fajitas. Seriously I have no idea how people kept eating there food

Always so good when I go. The Homemade brown sauce is my absolute favorite. Prices are very fair and service is always prompt and friendly. The Queso is my favorite in town, adding ground beef is never a bad idea. It’s so easy to find something here that you like! This is a great spot.

To be fair, this is about their breakfast. I’ve no idea about their lunch or dinner items. That said, as bad as the breakfast was, I won’t be taking chances there again.

I had the chorizo with scrambled eggs and beans. First, the look of the dish made me understand what prisoners probably feel like. It was the saddest looking plate of gruel Ive seen in a long time. What does that matter you say? We first eat with our eyes, then our palate. It was so unappetizing looking I almost paid and walked away.

Then the taste? Oh, shall we say it was just bad or shall we say that it tasted like it was a leftover dish from the day before? Either would be equally appropriate.

I love supporting local but not this. It’s a one abs done for me with Robles.

These reviews are fairly old so to keep you up to date!.... Went last month, sour cream chicken enchiladas were a hit with my Girlfriend and mother. They said it was the best they've had in town. I had the carne assada and it was wonderful.

Always a great meal. Rays breakfast is my go to in AM. Toastadas in the evening are the best. I will say I have not had a bad meal ever. Service is awesome and everyone is so friendly. Love this place.

They do not use real meat, the hot sauce is WATERED down and complete trash.
The service was terrible, the chips were cold.
It was dirty, and just over all a horrible experience. DO NOT WASTE $50 ON THIS PLACE LIKE I DID.
I told the lady we could not even eat our food because it was so over cooked and nasty and she scoffed at me.
she could have at least given a discount,but nope nothing.

For what it is, it’s not bad. Could definitely be better but I’ve had worse. The salsa was good. The combo plate I ordered had a crispy taco, cheese puff & cheese enchilada. The taco shell was overly hard, possibly stale? The taco meat was dry & seemed hard & old. The “cheese puff” was merely a giant, stale Tostito scoop style chip with bacon cheese in it. The enchilada was flavorless, the sauce was nonexistent and if it was, I didn’t notice because there was no flavor. Ate there about 3 hours ago and I’ve got an upset stomach so hoping it wasn’t the food. Probably wouldn’t eat there again unless it were the only place in Centerville to eat.

July 1 2021 @ about 4:00 pm we came out to first Monday and after being out walking around for a while we got hungry. I looked up Mexican restaurants and Robles came up I have never been here before. So we tried it out after walking in we were greated right away and sat down. Our server was awesome very polite and attentive. She checked up on us constantly. Our food came out it was very good and good portion as well. We would definitely return if we are in the area. Thank you to the server we had you were awesome.

Pretty good Mex food, and I've eating food from all over Cental America.. Beware the booth seats though, you'll be wrestling with the person behind you if there's someone there.
