Upmarket chain restaurant featuring Mexican specialties & margaritas in stylish quarters.
The establishment at Terminal D (D22-D23) was clean and well-maintained. But the interior design, bar top, chairs/tables looked a bit out of date. The restaurant was quite spacious with lots of seats and tables. There were not many guests in the restaurant when I visited. It seemed a good place to stay while waiting for the flight; very cozy! The environment was not crowded or noisy.
The bartender was friendly. The margarita, mango paloma rita, tasted fruity and sweet as I expected.

Got bad vibes from the beginning. Dead give away when the bar looked like it hadn't been cleared for a dew servings. We waiter to be seated with no one around them. A lady came from outside and told my wife and me and all the other people waiting that we could just sit anywhere. We got seated, and all seemed ok. Our waitres said they ran out of chips and salsa... what Mexicana restaurant runs out of chips and salsa?? She never asked if we needed any refill on our drinks, and the chips and salsa were not worth the wait. They might have been freshly made chips, but they taste like they were made with stale tortillas, and the salsa had no flavor. I ordered a tortilla soup that was over salted. My wife had the spinach enchiladas, which were the best of the whole experience. I would definitely not recommend it.

We came in For breakfast. Upon entry the space is well lit. There is music playing softly in the background. It is spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was very limited. I have an egg allergy and every single item on the menu included eggs and you cannot order a la cart. The items that I ate on the plate were good. The potatoes were crispy, the multi grain toast was toasty, the bacon had a great flavor but was sparse and thin. My husband had the breakfast tacos. The flour tortillas was soft and warm, the eggs soft and fluffy. There was enough meat in the taco. The dipping sauce was just the right amount of spice and tang. Overall good food, unless you have an egg allergy .

The food was ok, but to be honest the value was incredibly low. $10.00 for a tiny cup of cheese dip? $18 for tacos made with stale grocery store crunchy shells with no sides like beans or rice or anything.
Not their fault I suppose but the place was also infested with tiny little flies.

The staff was super helpful in helping me find something that was safe to eat with my food allergies to gluten, dairy, eggs, and peanuts. The chicken fajitas were super tasty, and it was a ton of food (definitely enough for two people to be full). Service was a tad slow, but I also had a late lunch when the staff was switching shifts, so that may have just been bad timing on my part.

This one surprised me. I didn't expect to find good Mexican food in DFW airport but there it was. Starting with the chips and salsa. The salsa had fire roasted tomatoes and just the right level of spice. For entrees we had the tortilla soup and a carne asada burrito. Both were very good. Our server was fast and friendly. The atmosphere isn't great but it is at the airport so you can't expect too much there. If you find yourself with some time at DFW and want a good meal, don't hesitate to visit Cantina Laredo.

This location has horrible service. State that you have to be served food before you can be served any alcohol on Sunday. There is nothing in TABC stating this as a law or rule. The service being the only one at the bar was horrible. Ordered Migas con huevos ask for extra cheese. They put the cold cheese in a bowl on the side. Had to ask for tortillas and they came out hard. Charge extra 3.95 for them. Waited on bartender for 10 minutes to start his shift. We were told couldn’t sit at the bar until after 10. He finally showed up at 10:07. Eggs were overdone and lacked any flavor.

I am just passing through Dallas on my way to New Orleans and the food is okay but typical of airport food over priced. The wait staff seems to have absolutely no organization. They are all over the place. It took forever to get a refill on my coffee. Sweetener for it, condiments and other things that should already be on the table. Glad that I am just passing through! I definitely wouldn’t come back if it were in the Springs.

I can't even rate it stars because I'm really tripping that they close the kitchen a whole 2 hours early! It is 7:20 and you're telling me you're only serving tacos. First, why didn't the bartender say that to me as soon as I walked up rather than letting me sit down AND passing ne a menu as if I can order food. And didn't say, "the kitchen will be closing soon", which would have allowed me the opportunity to order food!
At the very least, post something publicly that says the kitchen closes at a particular time before the last flight! Now, I've wasted 15 minutes sitting here and possibly other places have closed!

I had a flight delay so I decided to find something to eat. I came across the Cantina Laredo resturant and stopped at the hostess desk at the front and the hostess (I wish I would have gotten her name) was so pleasant that I decided to give the resturant a try. I engaged in conversation with a young gentleman that was sitting at the table next to me. We talked for about 15 minutes and no one has taken my order, no one has even come by to take my drink order or to offer chips and salsa. I had no idea chips and salsa were complimentary. I guess they were but not for me.The waitress(Maria) finally comes over, I've had plenty of time so I know exactly what I want to order. The food came out really fast and tasted decent. I sat at the table for minutes after eating and NOTHING! I was given my check before I finished the first fews bites of my food. After sitting for several minutes and giving Maria eye contact I grow weary of this bad service experience and ask yo speak with the manager. The manager comes over and I explain my disappointment with the service I have received and he says and does absolutely NOTHING!! It only take one bad experience and on to the 'Don't Go To" list

We had Thomas as our server and we had a really great experience. He was very friendly and kind and fast. The food was really, really good - it was all hot and tasted fresh. Nice size bowls of chips and tasty salsa & queso laredo dip (extra cost, but worth it.) For an airport restaurant, my family and I were really impressed and if we were to fly through DFW again, we'd more than likely return to eat here again. If you go, make sure you ask them to grill their burritos!

The coffee mug looked like it was cleaned and washed with coffee and the food I received (chorizo and eggs) was terrible. The eggs were rubbery and the ramekin, that the fruit was served in, had some kind of scum coating around the inside that could be easily scraped off with the fork. I decided it was better to not eat any of my meal as I did not want to risk getting sick on my flight.
My waiter was very good, though. He was very friendly and was quick with everything that was requested/needed.

I usually stop here whenever I layover at DFW. Today's stop was a complete 180° difference from every other time, for the worse.
Stood at the hostess stand for about 10 min before being told that it would be a 10 min wait. There were MULTIPLE tables open.
Once I was seated, at a table that was empty the entire time waiting to be seated, it took another 8-10 min to get the complimentary chips & salsa. Another 10ish for the 1 of 3 (?) waiters to get the drink order.
30 min in, put my order in. Received the food after watching an entire episode of Suits.
Food was so-so. I ordered the Vera Cruz Enchiladas, small next time I'll order tacos since I'll get 3 small tacos.
Not 1 refill on the drink, had to ask for salsa refill.
After the meal, waited another 20 min for the bill.
Luckily, my flight was delayed.
Will eat there again, but not if the wait at the hosts stand is like today was.

This was a really good place to eat at the airport. I was having a bad day as my flight was postponed a few times so decided to grab a bite to eat. At the time, I was under the impression that I only had 30 minutes left before my revised flight was boarding so I asked the hosts if I can be out in 30 minutes. He said, order fast and you should be OK.
As soon as I sat down, my waiter Marvyn came and asked if I wanted to order a drink and if I wanted chips and salsa. He was very outgoing and almost cheerful with full of energy and a big smile. Immediately, I forgot about my travels and just relaxed while the drink came. I asked him about something that was not on the menu for food and he said, I'll make it happen with no hesitation. The chef or the manager even came out for specification about my order.
The food arrived pretty quickly after that and the food was really delicious. My overall experience here was 100 out of 100 all starting with Marvyn. Kudos to Marvyn and the entire team for making my dinner just an overall pleasant experience.
Next time I stop in DFW, I'll be sure to eat here again.

As far as airport eateries go, I found this place quite good actually. Had breakfast and was greeted with decent food, great service, and generally a clean atmosphere. Not a bad way to start a flight.

Great place to eat kind quick if flying american. Not the fastest option, but also not slow. I was sat, ordered, and fed, in under 30 minutes.
Never pressured to leave once finished either. The "atmosphere" is a airport terminal, so take it or leave it. The food is remarkably good for an airport. It's a solid option for good, semi fast food.
