Mucho Taco Taqueria

My dad and I wanted some food so I told him about this place and this would be my first time trying it too. I got myself a burrito I wish I had taken a picture but I couldn’t help myself from eating it and my dad wanted a torta the food is well worth the 5-10 minute wait. It is fresh and it was hot down to every bite until we finished. I’ve known the owners for years but this was my first time visiting and the reviews don’t lie. The food was great, the lemonade was amazing and the flavors were spot on. Definitely coming here more often Ive been missing out for too long and so is everyone else who drives past this place!

The parking lot is small as it shares it with other stores in this tiny corner, but I love convenience store taquerias. The flavors and vibes are always solid

The guy taking my order was nice and answered my questions

The tacos smelled and looked great, the salsas had good heat, especially the red one.

They let me try some menudo, which I've never had before, but I recommend it! Tasted light yet flavorful and homemade

Some of the best Trompo tacos I’ve had in the Dallas area! Everything I’ve tried there has been good, and they give you large portions. The owners are really nice people as well and greet me every time I come in. I would recommend if you’re in the Garland area!

Presentation eight out of 10 Just happen to be in the area , guy working the register , was really great did an excellent job he even let me try out the soup of the day. Rice and beans were a 7 out of 10. Ordered two beef/steak tacos don’t remember what the last one was. Garnishes on the tacos were really good and tasty overall three out of five. I don’t know if I waited too long, but tacos were slightly cold.

In a word: DELICIOUS!

My family visited around 1:00 on Saturday afternoon, April 2, 2022. We ordered chicken nachos, chicken flautas, beef tacos, and a monster burrito. This isn't mass-produced fast food, thankfully.. Since all of the plates are carefully prepared to order, there is, understandably, a wait. However, the gracious owners provide guests with a complimentary cup of chicken noodle soup as an appetizer while the tortillas soften and the steak sizzles on the grill. Aguas frescas are available and delicious. Try the mango water!

Everything was just scrumptious! All items except nachos were accompanied with Mexican rice and refried beans. The accompanying sauces ranged from mild to spicy, and the salads of cucumber, radish, avocado, lettuce, and tomato were cool and refreshing. This is now my family's local stop for great Mexican food, and we're excited about our next trip!

We ordered take out, but there is seating for perhaps 16 guests inside the store. At 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon, the taqueria had a steady stream of guests arriving hungry and leaving completely satisfied. This is a family-owned restaurant to which you can take your entire family for a home-cooked Mexican meal prepared to order. 10/10

Have seen this place for some time now. Decided to stop in. Ordered seven corn tortillas tacos. Four chicken and three barbacoa. They were nicely packed with sauce and condiments and tasted really good. Probably should have ordere them as a meal plate. Will definitely be going back.

Probé los tacos de carne tanto de harina como de maíz. Ambos estaban deliciosos. Probé la salsa verde y estaba muy rica y picante, ¡pero no sería una salsa si no picara un poco! La carne se cocina con cebolla y pimiento morrón (fácil de quitar) que es lo que le da el sabor. Mucha carne en los tacos a un precio asequible.

Tasted the beef tacos both flour and corn. Both were delicious. Tried the salsa verde and it was very tasty and spicy but it wouldn’t be a salsa if it didn’t sting a little! The beef is cooked with onions and bell peppers (easy to pick off) it’s what gives it the flavor. Lots of meat on the tacos for an affordable price.

First time today, I ordered the carne asada taco plate… BEST TACOS IN GARLAND LITERALLY! The meat has so much flavor, the rice & beans are made to perfection, and the salsa is top tier!! The workers here are so nice & welcoming. I really feel tooken care of here . Everything 10/10

They have exceptional customer service. They take care of the details for you. And they even were willing to let us try their menudo for free. We got 12 tacos plus tenders and fries. . Asada and barbacoa. But I would recommend their queso tacos because they were amazing as well

I live over an hour a way and I make sure to come to Mucho Taco at least a few times a month! Their food is so amazing and delicious, keeps you coming back! Especially with that home made taste, brings me back to mi familia in El Paso!

Food was delicious. The lengua was so good, the best I have had. They were juicy and had a very delicious taste to them. Trompo tacos were delicious as well. My kids gave them a 10. Service was excellent. So glad we found this place.

I meant to take a picture but by the time i realized it I had already eaten my food. The good was delicious to say the least, really made me feel like I was back home getting feed this food as a kid. I personally recommend anything on the menu. It doesn’t matter what time you come at the chefs all cook the same, it’s the family that has grown together and shared home cooked meals together that make this food what it is and that’s a masterpiece.

I personally highly recommend you to eat at this phenomenal restaurant. The workers are so polite and understanding. I like how when you’re waiting they also give samples of their chicken broth soup and agua frescas. I recommend going on a Saturday when they have their special on menudo.
The food is delicious and the agua Refrescas is amazing as well. Especially the torta Cubana but man when I tell you I was shocked I was shocked. I love Mexican food but this restaurant hits it amazing.
This is a family restaurant that I highly recommend to everyone.

Place is great! Inside the convenience store off dairy and 66. Fast service and always helpful if you have questions. Trompo is the best! I’ve had a lot of trompo tacos and these hands down are my favorite, my husband won’t go anywhere else. The salsas are both delicious and spicy! Perfect little taco spot you’ve never heard or.

I love the atmosphere of this place. Its a family owned business so they put a lot of love into their foods. Their food’s isn’t like anything you can find at Taco Bell or wingstop, their stuff is authentic and it tastes so good. Will be coming back soon

Amazing flavor on all the food, The guys there are awesome, me and the kids walked in after they closed and they still made us our food!! Class acts, very polite and amazing service. As far as the tacos go they’re really good but their Sandwich game is on another level, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich is one of the best I have tried and the Texas burger is amazing with the egg and avocado bacon literally just had one 5 minutes ago. Deffinantly my go to place for takeout food, very clean and family oriented place, love it!! Anyone talking about rats or not clean you must have seen your cousin there and felt some sort of way 🤣😂 Keep up the good work guys!! I’ll be back tomorrow lol

Ordered 10 Trompo tacos, 5 chicken, and 5 barbacoa tacos to go. Service was gracious and attentive. The food could use improvement, Portions small for the price. The "trompo" meat was way too salty, and it looked like it had not come directly off the trompo, It looked like just regular pastor. The barbacoa and chicken tacos were okay. The tortillas were way too small and only 1 layer of tortilla. The cilantro and onion garnishes provided were too small in portion size. Place is under new ownership it appears, it was better when it was Trompo Taqueria and Burgers.

Son and I had fajita tacos, and a loaded chicken burrito for the wife. Meat for tacos was soft and flavorful. Wife said burrito could have used some spice. Only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars are the prices. Good food though.
