Salinas Authentic Mexican Food & Taqueria

Ended up here with a large group. They were very accommodating & efficient. The fish tacos were devine with perfect size portions. Lots of menu options (hope u like meat 😂)

Went here on a whim with my boyfriend and we both loved it. Kind staff, chill atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s exactly what you want from a taqueria. That consome for the birria tacos was so good I ate it like a soup 😅.

The Menudo was too chewy but had decent flavor. Flour tortillas were store bought. Campechanos were no good. Guacamole was good. Overall ok, but not beating down the doors to get in.

Inside a gas station. First customer of the day. Ordered pastor tacos. Pastor was crunchy and tasted like beef jerky. Cucumber Agua Fresca had a ton of sugar in it. Beans and rice cold. Sauce watered down. I threw most of it away. Guac was fresh and chips were good.

Owner was rude when asking a simple question. Ordered breakfast to pickup at 10am just to get there and no one was on the restaurant side. The convenience store clerk was helpful to have them call me once they got in. Just wanted a refund for a failed pickup just to be yelled and cussed at. Never again. Wish zero stars were possible.

Food was deliciousness 😋 !!!
Rice also was very good! The red salsa is very H🔥T and delicious also the mild green salsa! Very good and creamy!

Ordered food for delivery $100. We paid with a credit card. Never got our food. Got a call from someone saying they were waiting on a third party company for the delivery but we never got another call to let us know if we weren’t getting our food. At least give a courtesy call to let people know.

No soy de la area, pero definitivamente lo recomiendo. El servicio fue bueno y la comida era fresca, aunque estaban a punto de cerrar. Volvería otra vez. / Not from the area but definitely recommend service was good and the food was fresh even tho they were about to close i would come again.

soo.. my friends and I came here for the first time & we were met with employees with bad attitudes. english was not their strong suite, order was wrong everytime we ordered. chicken was flavorless, beef was better tasting. one of my friends had the beef taco & next day she was feeling sick & will have to take a day off from work. the point of my review is the customer service is trash, especially from the hispanic guy that appears in the drive thru sometimes. he assumed we came to the window again for the 2nd time to complain but that was not the case at all. i would rate this place a 3/10.

The tacos were extremely bland with no flavor. The chicken had no flavor or seasoning. Rice was ok and the beans were not good. The beans weren’t even hot.

Unfortunately I do not recommend this place at this time.

Not authentic. Canned beans, roast beef not barbacoa. Don’t order huevos ranchero because you will be disappointed. Instant coffee is the only option.

There was no issue with my order, the food was subpar. I asked which meat was recommended, and I wnded up getting trompo and barbacoa. The barbacoa was cooked well, but didn’t have a lot of flavor. The trompo had good flavor, but was noticeably dry. The salsas were good, but even they couldn’t hide the weakness of the tacos. Might try a different meat next time, and see if my review improves.

This place is in my neighborhood!! I have watched this building and the drive up (sonic looking) place next door, go through a lot of changes in ownership/name/specialty. Now I have had 3 separate experiences in a row with Salinas that were exceptional!! #Cubanatortas!!👍🏼The little beer store that’s attached is very welcoming as well. Have doin great business.

Food is authentic I have had trouble finding real good Mexican tacos since I moved to Garland these have good flavor and the size of the tacos is very good compared to most salsas are delicious
