Awful children are in charge on the weekend. I love this place in general. On the weekend they intentionally put beans and rice on top of the taco and Gordita so the meal becomes a plate of slop. I will skip the disrespect next time. Parents need to get the children to respect the people keeping them in business.

The packaging they use for takeout is cheap foam. Their meats that have broth or consomé is very runny and spilled out from the foam into the plastic bag. The flavoring of the meats is very bland and has no spice to it, if any. At least their red taco salsa is good other. I feel like if they do not take the time to carefully package their food they actually have no pride in their cooking and are just making what gets by. Their food looks like cat food, so presentation is terrible.
However if you're in for a quick fix and heavy meat meal they are generous with their portions. I ordered red and green pork. Their red pork was better than the green. The green one is the one that looks like cat food. I also ordered the pupusas and they're nice and housemade. However they charge extra for sauce and cabbage slaw. They put the rice and beans in little plastic containers that probably cost more than the amount of rice and beans they can fit in.
This place is not recommended for anyone vegan or vegetarian.
I'm actually quite disgusted with their pork meats.
I will not be returning.

The fajita torta was delicious and their red salsa was on point plus the lady that attended me was really nice! Will definitely be back at least once a week now that I know is here. They also had tortillas by the pound flour and corn!

Very good food and great customer service. Beans were a little too watery for my liking and not much flavor but went well paired with the food. Pupusas were great! Also I was with a spanish speaking friend that was able to order for me but had I went alone I dont know what the ordering experience would have been like so thats why 4 stars.

Would not recommend. Came here for Pupusa and Taco de Chicharrón. The chicharrón was very spongy, looked like the type you get at grocery store and was quite flavorless. The Pupusa tasted unbearably sour, I was a regular here, I figured it was probably a bad batch, I was more than ready to give them the benefit of the doubt. I notified the waitress to which she notified the boss. The boss proceeds to tell me that their food is fine and that he can’t do anything about it because it’s likely my tastebuds that’s the issue. No apology, no concern, it’s your fault not ours so deal with it.

I won’t be back.

Muy mal servisio pase ser una ordn de tortilla y me preguntaron que como a qui horas paso a recojerlas y les dije que entre las 4 y 5 en tonse me pidireron mi Numero de cell y les dije que para que El Numero y me dijern que para recordame que las Tengo te recojer y como yo tenia una fiesta se me fue El tiempo y Ella's nunca me ablaron y yo llege a recojerlas a las:450pm y ya avian cerado estaban la puerta laquida y las luzes apagadas y terminen sin tortilla par Ami fiesta y Ellen me hisieron un llamada para regojer MI tortillas hasta El Domingo otro dia a las 11 pm cuando yo ya no las necesitaba llego con mi recibo y les dijo que me agan refund de las compre porque nunca tube la.mercancia con mijo y la duella Erika Duarte se nego a dar me las tortillas onel dinero asi que tube a aser una reporte con la policia y atendieron El casa y me dinero mis tortillas y aparte pero muy mal servisio muchas falta de atencion al clinete y buenos modales son gente sin ninguna educacion que par que su nejocios siga crescindo neceaitan saber tratar a sus clients con respeto por que su nejocio esta de pie por los clintes le quieren morder la mano a los que les dan de comer yo ya no perderia mi tiempo y dinero en este nejocio con gente mal educada perdieron bueno varios clientes por mi conosido y familiar tampoco van a consumir nada en este lugar con cucarachos y ratones guacatelas 🤮🤢🤮🤮🤮 que asco 🐀🪳🪳🐀🐀🐀

When I went to get my tortillas at 5:00 and they said they were closing at 6:00 they were already closed and I can't get my money back and and they didn't want to give me my money back and and they're in the wrong so yeah don't get the food from there because there horrible service is horrible.

We have quite a few pupuserias here in GP but El Carreton is definitely my favorite. I can tell when food is made with love and let me tell you, with one bite you feel the love all over. I always order 2 pupusas, one of chicharon and one of frijoles con queso and 2 tacos of asado de puerco en chile verde. MAAAANN!!! The best!!! So delicious. The best asado in GP and some of the best in DFW. The whole menu is tasty. Give it a try folks. Good homestyle food made with love. Just like mamita used to make.

Voy a darles 4 extrellas por lo siguiente , al pedir la orden por Uber eats los complementos para las pupusas que son el curtido y la salsa tomate no fueron agregados, no se si en si los manejen en el restaurante, pero en cualquier pupuseria es algonque ya viene en la orden, y en caso de que no viniera pues tampoco nos dimos cuenta por que no estaba especificado asi que ojo con eso.

Yo ordene tacos de barbacoa, me gusto mucho la textura de la carne, la mayoria de los tacos de barbacoa que he consumido en otros lados parece mas una desebrada que una barbacoa, al menos a mi me gusta que este mezclada y asi es esta, muy tierna y un poquitin de gordito solo lo necesario. Los tacos vienen en tortilla doble y son super llenadores me pedi 5 y con 3 quede bomba!

La salsita verde esta sabrosa, la roja esta picosita, un tanto acuosa, si integraran alguna salsa tlaquepaque levantarian esos tacos de barbacha con toño!

Las pupusas mi esposo que es del Salvador las califica con un 7, aparentemente les falta un poquito de sabor pero creo que mas que nada fueron los complementos a sus pupusas ( que no le llegaron ) por los cuales el les da esa calificacion, a mi parecer tienen buen tamaño, y la textura se veía buena, no estaban quemadas por fuera como en muchos otros lugares cuando se esta saliendo guiso.

Espero pronto visitarlos y ver que otras cosas tienen el menu !

I have been to this place plenty of times. I always order the Pupusas plate with the rice and beans. The last two times I’ve ate there, within minutes my stomach starts hurting a lot, feels like cramps and I start feeling nauseous. The first time I thought it was just the heat but this second time, I felt really sick! Had to run to the restroom immediately after eating one of the pupusas! I won’t be going there anymore.

Hace tiempo era muy buena atención del personal. Ya van 3 veces que voy y pido una cosa para llevar y cuando llego a mi casa me doy cuenta que me dan otra cosa diferente a la que pedí. Los dueños son muy amables pero sus trabajadoras siempre te atienden de mala gana.

Found this place close to my house and I'm sad that it took me 2.5 years until I was working from home to realize it. Had no idea it existed before and I've definitely been missing out. Tasty food and wallet friendly prices!

La comida muy sabrosa y muy limpio el local. Compre Pupusas y tamales de puerco. Buen precio tambien. La variedad de guisados no me gusto mucho pero para otro gusto puede estar bien. Si lo recomiendo!
