I was wanting a good Margarita and good tacos close to home so my fiance did some searching and ended up here. We walked in and the place was nice, smaller than expected. Lots of seafood and I look forward to going back to try but my mind was set on tacos. I got the Tacos de Canasta , comes with 4 and I chose pastor for the meat. My fiance had a Torta de fajita.
I also got top shelf Margarita on the rocks.
ALL was delicious 😋 I'll be going back! Chips and hot sauce were so good too!

Food was fantastic! Their salsa was perfect. She served it up warm, not even ashamed to say I Pert near licked the bowl clean! Torta was filling, messy but worth it. Fries came out hot and had amazing seasoning. Would 101% come back.

I randomly visited this restaurant on 6/19 / 24. I was actually ordering at another restaurant in the plaza but was lured in by the music playing outside 😎

I ordered the red snapper and it was quite delicious even the rice and the salad served with the fish was good as well. Oh, and don't let me forget to mention that delicious salsa. If you love spicy salsa, you'll absolutely love theirs. The heat level is up there. They also have happy hour with house margaritas. The small is $2, large $5

I have only great thinga to say about my dining experience. Everything was great. Even the server, Paulina , was patient and courteous. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area.

Katalina was an amazing server, great service. The food and drinks were awesome. The food came out extremely fast, and was super delicious and fresh. We ordered the medium shrimp cocktail, parillada and birria tacos. The portions were also pretty good, the shrimp cocktail had plenty of shrimp in it. I would come back for sure.

Tried a new place today.

We used to love this restaurant. We went to Subifest on Saturday and stopped by to grab some food at lunchtime. There were 4 of us ....1 child 3 adults. We had as follows:

Bill was 137.00.
It used to be so good but that has changed, we won't be going back. I even tried to call and speak to a manager and was hung up on. What thed did isn't right and is sad because they had some poor guy holding a sign on the street to attract people to eat, holding a sign for a $6.99 lunch. If people only knew that they would be overcharged. I wish them the best of luck but I will never go back. Sorry

The tacos were good had ran out of corn tortillas but the pastor taco a bit salty for my liking and the fajita was just seasoned fine. The enchiladas were presentable and fine the salsa more on the limey side than on the spice side which I don’t mind! , however the only complaint I got was on the rice Spent about 28.00 dollars in total

Orderd a 7 mares soup for 20 dollars it the broth had ok flavor but it was missing most of the main ingredients which was the seafood it had a total of 3 shrimp 3 clams and a mixture of small pieces of fish and imitation crab not worth the money I hope this review helps so the consumer does not get ripped off like I did.

When it came time to pay this place charges like it’s a 5 star restaurant. Y’all need to chill with that. Save your money and go to El Viejon if you want mariscos and drinks. For starters I ordered a vodka pineapple and was charged $12 for my drink. I was a bit shocked when I asked the price of the drink. I then ordered the aguachile which was $20 which is normal but it was the sadness plate I had ever seen! It only had 7 shrimp! Sorry but not paying $20 for 7 shrimp. Skip over this place.

Como si eso ayudara mucho, a nadie le gusta tener insectos en su comida !
Después dijeron que tenia que hacer el reclamo de mi dinero por medio de la app que lo ordene !
O sea que aparte de darme comida con animal, tenia que hacer el reclamo de mi dinero por medio de la app por que el restaurante no podía resolver una situación que ellos mismos hicieron!

Sazón excelente, como si estuvieras comiendo en algún lugar de la costa de México. El ceviche de pescado delicioso! Todo está riquísimo pero en especial los mariscos. Auténtico sabor mexicano. La mojarra frita perfecta; crujiente y deliciosa. Precios no muy económicos pero mariscos tan deliciosos valen la pena. Hay que recordar que el restaurant está en Estados Unidos y los precios son justos.

We order 3 plates, 1. the taco salad: too little about of meat it was mainly lettuce, I was expecting rice and beans under all that lettuce, and the taco shell was dry and hard. 2. The fried red snapper was good, no seasoning, small amount of rice and beans, but it was the best mean of all 3. 3. Shrimp cocktail, I got the medium size, and it was ok , too much sauce and too little shrimp, tomato, onion, etc.

I really wanted to like this place :( since I love seafood and just moved around the corner... but unfortunately it was a total fail! I ordered the aguachiles and if you know anything about aguachiles you know they are SUPPOSED TO BE RAW when you prepare them! But they weren't they used cooked shrimp and to top it off they did not use fresh lime juice! 😒 trust me I love lime so I def know the difference! Very disappointed! Will never be back. Too expensive for the quality and portions of food served. They over-charge for refills! They charge a full menu price for side orders! The food is not that great! The music is full blast for such a small place. The only good thing going for this restaurant are the waitresses are really nice and helpful.

Food was good. However, service sucked. Practically ignored. We were not told that the drinks were not refillable. I’m unsure if that was even an option. They also did not inform me that they would add a tip themselves, as well as, expect to be tipped again. It’s not professional to decide on your own what a tip should be and still ask for another. Our waitress definitely deserved a tip because I know the owner isn’t paying her much. But to put the burden of paying your employees on your customers is trash.

Food was ok but a bit over priced for the quality and type of restaurant. A small side of queso, literally the same serving as the salsa was 6 bucks, and they charged 3 bucks for an extra 3 tortillas because they only serve 3 in a parillada. 🫢

House margaritas are 14 bucks and meager at best.

Avoid at all cost. There are plenty of good local Mexican restaurants in Arlington that are more reasonable.

This was truly authentic Mexican food - and talk about delicious!!!!! Huge portions/ tasty/ their salsa is incredible/ great service/ great prices - this place has it all. It was so fun that one of their tvs had bands singing Spanish songs. My entire family loved it. The owner was so nice. Carne asada was heavenly, as was my drink ( I forget the name of it). We will definitely be back!

Second time here.

We had three dishes and two drinks. The Tacos de Canasta where amazing. The balance between all the flavors was so well done. The cumin was the star of this taco. I had the carnitas sopas, and an order of chicken tacos. We had the rainbow and a top shelf margarita. The salsa was spicy in the best kind of way. The only criticism I have is the chips where a little stale however the served their purpose as far as I’m concerned which was to get as much salsa as I could into my mouth. The staff was delightful and kind. They even gave me a to go container of salsa because it was clear I loved it. We are only in town for a week but I will be back to try more of their menu. So wonderful.

The ceviche is cooked shrimp instead of shrimp cooked in lemon. The chips were stale again maybe its me being from the Mexican coast. Great setting and love the service.... recommend going for drinks and appetizers at this location.. not full coarse meal 😕

This place opened up the same time I opened my Barbershop business across the street from them. I was excited to have a Seafood restaurant that I could walk across the street to. My first time going they welcomed me with open arms and didn’t disappoint. Today I’ve Been coming here for 5 years now and have never had a bad experience. Did I mention the food is AMAZING with a wide variety of options. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MEXICAN & Seafood restaurant in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex!!!

I've never been the kind of person who writes reviews 😕 However, I have to say that I was quite disappointed in the Cheese Enchiladas I had. They were not freshly made they were cold, and the cheese was rubbery. The rice and beans were cold. Granted, it was an hour before closing, but still, this was just awful 😖 the menudo my daughter had was not all that bad. Let's just say i won't be coming back.

Came on a Thursday & I guess it was karaoke? Idk but it was extremely loud. It’s a small facility. To a point I couldn’t stand it and wanted to leave very quickly!
T oh I o The food was ok. My rice and beans had hard blocked up parts in it. The enchiladas them self were ok. Drinks were good. Everything looked better than it tasted. Probably would never come back to be honest. I wanted to like it but it was just too much going on for such a small facility. Bartenders/server were very nice.

Just left this place and honestly wasn't going to leave a review until what happened when I tried to pay, so here is my full experience.

Chips taste like they come out of a bag. The salsa was probably the best thing because it looked homemade but needed salt. I ordered the puerco asado (pork stewed in red sauce) WITH DOUBLE BEANS INSTEAD OF RICE with flour tortillas. It tasted like pork pieces that were cooked ahead of time, cooled then (over) fried on a flat top grill, then drenched in sauce. The server had to come back to ask what kind of tortilla again while putting in my order. When my order came, it had rice instead of double beans and corn tortillas. The server realized about the tortillas, but I had to remind her about the beans (which had such little flavor that I had to add salsa to them). When I went to pay, there was a side of beans on my ticket. I told the server, and she tried to blame it on the management, saying they were so bad and were changing so many things and wouldn't allow substitutions. Having owned a restaurant, I can understand that, but I also know you should tell the customer instead of just charging them. In reality, it was $4.00, and I'm fine paying for something as long as I know going in and it's quality, which this was neither. The server said she would get the management, who again told me about the no substitution policy, and I told her the server should have told me beforehand, so she agreed to take it off. Then they both came back, and the server is trying to tell me I ordered the beans after my plate came out, to which I corrected her, and so she changed her story to I ordered extra beans. The food cost to the restaurant on that order of beans is probably .25 cents, but today it cost that, and a 1 star review for the mediocre food and BAD SERVICE! On top of it all they charge you to us your credit card. That's just cheap. It's a cost of doing business. What's next, charge me for the light use while I'm dining?

First of all the place is VERY small, I sat at the bar and ordered stuffed avocados which come with ceviche I didn’t like the flavor. The bartender was super nice and the drinks look very pretty but I wasn’t a fan of those either.

Been there a couple times. Both times the wait was 45+min. Food portions are not worth the money. I was able to scrape up 3 spoons of rice from my plate and a couple from my refried beans. Fried mojarra had great flavor on one side but not on the other. I had to remind waiter to bring my drink after sitting there for 20 min.

Got overcharged for some oysters to go, when I tried asking the lady charging me about the prices she just stayed quiet and had no answers, didn't even bother to show me the prices in the menu. Also got a pineapple water which was not good, it tastes like it just sits out in the open and gets infused with the food smells, tasted kinda fishy. This is the 2nd time I've gotten food from there and both times have been disappointing.

Es la Segunda vez que pido aguachile Verde y me Dan este platillo mal echo nada que ber con agua Chile parese que nada Mas lo hicieron de prisa y los chilaquiles me los dieron igual de mal

Bad service. Worse food. After one bite, I felt sick. Greasy and no flavor.

Really good Lunch on Cinco de Mayo. The salsa was a bit different and a bit soupy, However,, entries were very good. I had the Burritos Plate with chicken. Taste was good and flavorful. My wife had the Camarones a la Mexicana. She said it was a bit spicy hot, but excellent.

Fantastic Service, Brenda our Bar Tender was a great Server. Making sure we had an enjoyable time while providing for our every needs. Couldn't ask for a better time! Definitely make the trip here for Excellent Service!

Cucumber margarita was 10 stars!! Food and service was excellent. They had live karaoke. It was a really beautiful space.

Messed up my order completely when I was very specific... ordered 3 pastor tacos and 2 steak but gave me a taco plate with 3 steak instead

Servicio muy malo, la mesera que nos tomo la orden estaba toda apurada y luego nos cambo de mesero y ella se sento a platicar, ni siquiera tomo nuestra orden bien, estuvimos esperando por 45 min y solo nos trajeron la mitad de lo que pedimos, la segunda mesera que nos atendio se disculpo y fue amable con nosotros pero si estas buscando buena seafood este no es el lugar.

Shrimp tasted like the microwaveable ones from the grocery store. Rice was ok. Nacho chips stale.

Took 25 plus minutes for food to be served. The rice was poorly cooked tasted like fish stock was used to cook it. Chicken cutlets were so hard the knife wouldn't go all the way through. Waitress had to use phone to apologize for the bad meal. Because she saw how horrible it looked .

The service was quick and the server was polite and knowledgeable about the menu, and suggested the chicken burrito for lunch it was excellent. They also have hot(temperature) salsa to accompany the chips. Big plus in my book ❤️

Food is wonderful. The Lime Aqua Fresca is excellent. Our server, Jordon, was the best. Can't wait to go back!

The pineapple and hibiscus water is good! The shrimp cocktail is good too! Homemade tortillas which makes it even better. They also have a bar for those who like to drink. If you expect to be recieved by host this isn't the place, at least not yet they just open so just have seat and they will help you. I don't mind as longest my food is good!

La presentación del restaurante muy bonito. Desgraciadamente el servio al cliente y la la espera por la comida muy mala. Se tardan mucho en darte la comida, y cuando te la traen te la traen incompleta.

Friendly staff but, food is ok and drinks were not well made my piña colada tasted much like alcohol and michelada did not have any flavor just the beer

One of the best ceviche I have tried, hands Down. Last time I tasted this much flavor was in Cancun, Mex. DELICIOUS Authentic Mexican Cuisine.

We loved the food my only complaint was they give u a little bit of rice and beans other than that everything is delicious and I would go there again.

Bad customer service. Unable to place order on multiple occasions due to language barrier. They put you on hold and say someone will be right with you. No one comes to the phone even after waiting 5 minutes on hold. Unable to call back cause they leave the phone on. But on another note...the one time I was able to order...their shrimp ceviche was bomb. I guess I’ll have to find another place that serves Shrimp ceviche.

A hidden gem, i’m glad I ran into this place! We tried the torta cubana it was delicious and the camarones en salsa poblano which were 10/10 the sauce was amazing. The place is really clean as well which is always great.
