I normally don’t complain on social media about restaurants, but the meal I received tonight from Chipotle was that bad. I ordered pickup—a salad with brisket for myself and a burrito with carnitas for my husband. I specifically asked for utensils and napkins, which were missing. When I opened my salad, the portion size was laughable—barely any lettuce, and the brisket came separate for some reason, with a small amount of meat. It was supposed to have fajita veges, but they were completely missing. My salad only filled half the container. My husband's burrito was ice cold, with hardly any meat. His burrito was also missing the fajita vegetables. I spent $30 on this meal. Extremely disappointing.

The bowls have gotten more and more skimpy at this location. They don't ever seem to have enough staff, or the staff they have don't seem to care. My visit today was nothing short of awful. My bowl was pretty poorly made, there wasn't a sweet tea dispenser at the drink station. When I asked someone if I could get some from the back, I was told that they don't have any sweet tea. Have plenty of unsweet though! They didn't have any straws out. Speaking of straws, the trash can was the last one and the reason for this review. It was so full, you couldn't have put a straw wrapper on it. At this point, I'd almost rather go to Freebirds right down the street.

Chipotle not sure what’s happening….but I purposely drove from Rowlett to Rockwall in hopes of a better experience but was disgusted and disappointed at the Rockwall location as well. The restaurant was an absolute mess. They employees in the kitchen were talking about how they need to work the afternoon shift because in the morning they get sent home and they don’t get hours while being rude to each other and complaining the whole time. The first bag of chips I purchased were stale, the second bag had brown burned chips with so much salt you couldn’t eat them, I went to the counter and the lady that was on the register was so rude and seemed like we were inconveniencing her, purposely ignored me and had a terrible attitude all together (7/23/2024 @1:20pm) they didn’t have straws, no spoons, large chunk of cheese in my sons bowl, chicken was not cut and tasted funny. The restaurant was so dirty. Will not be returning to this location.

I have been in several chipotle’s in the DFW area, and this location has been the dirtiest one. Every table was dirty with food all over, the floor was dirty as well and wet and the server tried to serve me old dried up pinto beans. Then he took my plate to the back and put some “fresh beans”. After all I didn’t eat because we all know what he did to my plate. I didn’t say anything to him because I didn’t want to embarrass my daughters.

Customer Service at this location is absolutely terrible! They are supposed to open at 10:45a and the doors weren’t unlocked until 10:50a. We got in there and they were still setting up. Not a single person acknowledged us. They weren’t even set up yet! We waited for 7 minutes and then walked out. Very disappointing and rude experience! 1/10!

My girl friend got a veggie bowl that comes with guacamole. They tried to charge her for the guacamole. On top of that they didnt even try to close the top of the guac container and everything in the bag was covered. Not very satisfied with the customer service along with the declining food quality

I went in today and it was an unorganized mess. The line was long and when it got time to make my order the counter was filthy. The guy making my order didn't properly wrap my burrito and the tortilla tore. He left it unwrapped in the foil. Please train the employees before having them serve customers.

Restaurant was filthy about an hour before closing. Clearly no one was cleaning. Decided to eat outside and when I tried to go in to throw away my trash 20 minutes before they closed they had already locked the door. Probably won’t be back

When I tell you this was the nastiest chipotle ever is a huge understatement. I came in at 10pm an hour before closing all the tables a mess in lobby. The line was extremely disorganized lettuce in cheese, cheese in sour cream etc. I manage restaurants and fast food and this place needs new management ASAP!

Horrible but horrible way to have your food serve , I when today at 4:45 pm some i don’t know the name of the girl who was serving the food in the front but I had ask to get a burrito and she was doing everything so fast and disgusting that at the end when she was rapping it all together the tortilla tored up and I told her I’m not eating that and she got another tortilla she was mad then she didn’t even let the tortilla warm up and she got the new tortilla and got the old tortilla with the food inside and move it to the new tortilla how disgusting and unprofessional way to do ! This is the filthiest place that I’ve ever been. Every table in the facility was dirty . How are you out of Queso at 5pm in the evening. Also, the chips were stale. I watch the lady make food and with the same gloves go to the back and bring back paper bags. Clearly being clean was not an object. The floor was extremely nasty as well. I instantly told my family we are not dining in. Why was there food spilled all over the place where it’s prepared and also next to the register. The group behind us was looking so confused and immediately began to complain. I will never visit them again and they give the company a very bad name.

I Used to come here all the time but it seems like within the last couple months maybe three months somethings different and the staff is rude and the last couple times I came in a couple staff members were gossiping and talking about things that they shouldn't talk about at work. Be careful don't spend your money here, go elsewhere. The Best thing this location could do is fire anybody they have hired in the last 3 to 4 months or just the whole team and start over

This is the worst chipotle. I would rather drive further to the one in Rowlett then eat at this one. The portion sizes are really a problem. I don’t know if the staff doesn’t want to keep cooking throughout the day so they just give customers less food to make it last longer for them, or they just think it’s ok to give everyone half the recommended portions but either way it’s not ok. And when you ask for more they have a bad attitude and try to charge you more for the correct amount. This location definitely needs to train their employees better. Also, my last bowl had something rotten in it. Chipotle quality control addressed the issue for me and refunded me so I am thankful for that but this location has to get it together.

Placed an order online, went to pickup on time, and found that they didn't work on the order because they ran out if guacamole, I asked to replace it with Queso and off course they didn't do.

Update: We tried pick up multiple times and order is always ready in time and we also eat in store and had no issues, portions are big and we are happy. We'll order more as long as portions are consistent and no ingredients missing.
I'm done with Chipotle, they managed to "loose" my order, had to spend 30-40 min there and show them proof of my order from my email before I got it. I placed the order via their for future pick up at 2PM same day, got there and waited asked few times about my order, they said don't have it, later told me it was pushed at 2:20PM, at 2:20PM another employee comes out, maybe manager, tells me they lost my order and to show her email confirmation, struggled to get the email because of bad reception. Finally I got the email loaded and she took a picture of the order and told me they will prepare it. What a bad service, I'll never go back.

I ordered a barbacoa burrito, unfortunately they put a very small portion of barbacoa, I basically bought a rice and bean burrito so I decided to add double barbacoa which is another small portion at the cost of $5.55 which adds up to the total cost of my burrito at $18.13. Very disappointed.

Anemic burrito with no filling. The taste of the food is consistent with Chipotle, the staffs promptness for services is great. The real reason you come here is for the burrito. They barely put any meat or filling in it. This go around it is almost exactly half the size of the normal burrito. This location has declined rapidly further ruining it's appeal.

The food is as good as any other chipotle so that’s good. One thing that really upset me is I usually order a kids meal which comes with free chips, every time I go they never have the small chips so out of kindness the workers will give me the next smallest size (thankfully). Today I went in and ordered my usual and yet again they didn’t have the kids chips so I politely asked if I could just get a regular chip… The young man that was there claimed I had to pay for a regular chips because they had ran out… It wasn’t making much sense to me because for one: why couldn’t they just make a small bag of chips and two why am i paying more for something because YALL ran out? Horrible customer service all in all.

Have ordered from this location multiple times, both in-person and through Uber Eats mostly because of convenience. This is one of those locations that will short change you on portions in-person and even more so if ordering online.
Customer service could definitely use improvement. I still remember a particular incident several months ago in which I had came in an hour before closing and the person behind the counter seemed upset that I came in. It was as if doing her job was an inconvenience.
I typically opt to go to the Royse City location rather than here if I have the time.

I wanted some good Barbacoa and Chipotle did not disappoint. I love their cilantro white rice, pinto beans, salsa, guacamole and sour cream all piled up together makes a delicious meal. I also had a Mexican Coke. Everyone was so nice. The place was clean, just a little small, but good for a brief bite. I suggest you give them a try.

We went in an hour and a half before close, on a Friday night, and went to place an order to go and they refused to cook anymore steak, white rice or queso for the night. Horrible customer service, and I won’t be going back that’s for sure. To think I liked this place over Chiloso… at least Chiloso has good customer service.

FIRST OF ALL DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! The treatment I received at this location has put me off of all chipotle’s ever again. In my opinion, this place should be closed down. First of all, the workers seem absolutely miserable. They kept huffing every time I asked for any extra ingredients in my bowl. Even the managers don’t care if you talk to them. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT !!!! Portion sizes were laughable, they give you the absolute minimum amount of toppings. Even if there are set portions, no other chipotle is this cheap. Stingiest chipotle i’ve ever been to. Never coming here ever again. I advise nobody else to come here.

I’m at this location now attempted to order quesadillas and was told the quesadilla machine was off for the night. I went in at 9:40pm , they close at 10pm. I don’t appreciate being turned away when the store has 20 more operating minutes . This is not the 1st time I’ve had a bad experience here. Avoid this location if you can.

Walked in at 6:30 and 3 key items were out. They had no steak, no brown rice, and no veggies. I had no issue waiting as others were doing so as well. The girl serving had a very bad attitude, the lady in the back rushed the person cooking this resulting is undercooked brown rice, chewy steak (with a lot of fat) and undercooked veggies. Terrible service and horrible food. Judging by the amount of negative reviews, clearly upper management does not care. They probably take home a nice salary and preach about quality 😒 don’t waste your money Here.

This place is always out of ingredients every time I go in. I finally get tired of my food not being made the way I enjoy it, as a food industry vet, I get it that sometimes there’s either supply chain issues, a new kitchen manager etc, I ask the cashier if they got a new kitchen manager, no one seems to know why they’re always out of food. I would like a simple answer so that I can understand more and be patient with them, but whenever people act like they know nothing about why they can’t make food the way they’re supposed to, and give nonchalant idk answers it gives off the impression no one is looking into why they can’t make food how their customers ask or management isn’t being vocal or communicative to the people on the front lines fielding these questions from customers who get sick of coming to a place they’re willing to spend their money, wait in line for 10 minutes, just to get to the front and be told something as basic as rice is out. Or something as popular as the corn salsa is out. The lack (or pretend) of knowledge about the problem only makes the establishment look less competent to handle basic food pars and ordering accurate, volume based truck orders. As a previous manager at a training Chipotle store, I’m truly disappointed how much time I’ve wasted coming to this store and my favorite meal can’t be made with the mix of ingredients that makes it so good. So much potential in this place.

The first time I went to the Chipotle in Rockwall, Tx I ordered a bowl of simply rice, chicken and queso. It was by far the worst absolute dish I’ve ever had. Not enough to feed a small child after asking for more the young lady put a quarter spoon of chicken on the bowl. But, it tasted decent. Now I waited about 2 months and ordered a chicken burrito with rice and queso. Unfortunately there was maybe 1/8 ounce of chicken on the whole burrito and it tasted like they must of soaked the chicken in laundry detergent. I have been eating at Chipotle’s all over Texas and most have been good. This restaurant in Rockwall is the worst Chipotle that I have dealt with from quality of food to customer service. I live here and won’t/can’t enjoy my favorite restaurant due to the lack of professionalism, no pride in quality of work, poor preparation of food and entrees. Absolutely poor quality, service and communication from everyone on their team. Horrible and waist of money!

My sister in law placed a carry out order for my husband and he pulled two long pieced of hair out his bowl. I tried to called the restaurant it's automated and there is no way you can speak to management, you get an email to submit your issue and they will "call" you back. We were extremely disappointed being that we absolutely love Chipotle. Please in force a hair net policy and be more customer friendly.

This location is routinely out of prepped items. And I’m not talking where it will be 5 minutes. I’m talking 20 minutes at least. I don’t know if they’re not following the prep schedule, don’t understand it, or if it needs to be updated but to make matters worse, they’re stingy with portions. How can you constantly run out of things AND be stingy. I hate that this is the only location in Rockwall. Whoever owns it should shut it down and start over.

Ridiculous! the amount of meat they’re putting on online orders bowls is becoming non existent. From now on I’m ordering at the location and will make sure I get what I’m paying for.

COME ON YOU GUYS! What is happening in the world today. No one gives a dam nowadays. Is it just me or am I just over dramatic when I say these fast food restaurants and their employees and including the owners just don’t give a dam about customer service, quality, consistency, and most of all cleanliness. I’m starting to think even posting dam reviews, no one cares and seems to not want to make things better, but I’m going to do it anyway because Google owns this! Whatever happen to teaching our employees customer service and how to at least show or pretend that they have respect for the customers and themselves. I went into this restaurant and everything that I’m mentioning in this review are facts. There’s no food ready, or they don’t have it, the counter tops are disgusting, food of other colors are running into the next one. The cook thinks it’s funny to not have rice and meat available. The cashier looks stress because she’s the only one running back and forth to get Uber eats, and checkout customers. The server wants to scrape you the (backwash) leftovers from the bottom of the pan and make it stretch. Seriously Chipotle! Oh, and let’s not mention as you going down the line to put your order together, it’s not until you get to that item they say, “we don’t have anymore of that. EXAMPLE: I have a Bowl with no bowl, beans, but there’s no rice, corn, but there’s no meat, sour cream, but there’s no sauce, one teaspoon of cheese, and there’s no chips. Readers, you catch what I’m getting at. Why be open if you’re going to make me go to Walmart or Kroger to make a meal for my family. I guess I need to stop supporting fast food restaurants and making them rich for nothing because clearly I’m not getting nothing out of it but bad vibes. Dang, I had to give one star because it wouldn’t let me complete my review. Google you next.

Came for the new AL Pastor Chicken and was told they were out. Told they were out of Chipotle Tabasco Sauce and then asked another employee and they in fact did have some. This Chipotle has been going down hill. Used to be my favorite place to eat in Rockwall.

Great personnel, very friendly, great food. Queso Blanco was best I have ever eaten. Guacamole was outstanding.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM HERE THEY HAVE MESSED UP MY ORDER EVERYTIME I ORDER ONLINE. Also when you go to call because you’re already eating your food they don’t answer. Stay away from this chipotle and go to the one in Rowlett much better service or the new one in Royse City also much better and newer

I've upgraded my review to 5 stars. This location has shown consistent improvement. Last several visits have been what I expect from any food establishment.

Service and ingredient availability has improved. It is clear that someone is working on improving this location. Good job and keep it up. At this point, the only thing lacking is the online ordering. Food ordered this way is somehow not as good as ordering from the regular line. Tortillas are overheated/overcooked and beans look and taste like they've been sitting on the line all day.

Several visits over the last 4 weeks have shown much improvement in all areas. There is more staff and much better stocked items. I have not had to leave or wait due to missing items. I've increased my review by 1 star. Will check back in after a few months and adjust accordingly.
This is the worst managed Chipotle location I have ever seen. Constantly out of meats with staff preparing ingredients they already have plenty of and not what they are out of or low on. Order online and pick up you say? That's worse than standing in line because ordering online means you get ignored. Chipotle has a very simple menu. One must really try hard to screw up the management of the store so badly. I've been to many other locations often and have never seen such incompetence. Oh, and don't bother writing customer support, you'll just get an automated response telling you they'll forward your complaint to the store manager.

Very stingy with portions. 1/4 filled sides & entrees. Have had this same issue several times at this location. Stale chips & unfriendly staff as well.

Customer service needs work. Didn't get greeted when entering and server had an attitude even though I came in with a smile.

Very very disappointed! I was starving so I ordered this to be delivered. When it got here I was missing items. So needless to say, I am still staring and am $40 poorer because I decided to order this to be delivered and paid like double for it. So I guess now I will head to some drive through and order more food.

I give the food a 4stars but it can easily be a 3. Just depends on who is serving you. Food usually is ok. But half the workers are terrible. Half the time I go there the girls are so rude. Except one who possibly is a supervisor. I would honestly stop eating there but my very picky 5yr old enjoys the food.

The lady that did my order was rude and when i asked for more sour cream, she continued to get very upset about me talking to my sister about the lack of ingredients in my bowl. And interrupts my conversation to be rude and disrespectful to me and the other people in the Rockwall Chipotle! i will not be going back if this is how i’m going to be treated this is just outrageous.

Rockwall location charged my card almost $5 extra dollars from what my total was. Then for some reason, I take breaks from eating here then give another try and they still act as if they count the pcs of meat. So I basically just spent $30 on 1 bowl with no extras or anything 😡

We ordered online and when we opened our bowls one of them looked half empty, they usually give us a good amount of ingredients but not today. Eventhough the order was correct when I called the restaurant it's automated and there is no way you can speak to management. Instead you get an email to submit your issue and they will call you back. Or so they say.

Rockwall location
Cashier seemed annoyed to have to be there. The two young men serving in the line were great.
Food was good.
Only disappointment was that not even 2pm in the afternoon and we were told if there's no more tea they won't make anymore since its only made in the mornings. I mean I've been to the Allen location and they will brew fresh tea for you if their canister is empty.
Overall ok, they just lack customer service.

i took my grandson there for lunch on 1022/22 the you girl that was taking the order has the shortest attention span she did not pay a bit of attention to my grandson as he ordered his food he repeated hi self twice and she still stood there looking stupid. pay attention to your customers or get a different job. worst service ever!!!!!

It is getting ridiculous the amount of times this chipotle in particular has been stingy with their black beans. If you’re gonna charge someone for a bowl that comes with rice and beans, don’t just give them 80% rice and 20% beans. Might as well heat them up myself. You are supposed to be using portion tools am I right? To evenly distribute the ingredients??
While the food was over all fine, it’s disappointing that portion distribution is lacking.

They were out of most of the toppings and meats. Had to wait for them restock. The floors and tables were dirty. The trash can was over flowing. They had no wheelchair ramp.

First of all the customer service was the worst.... the first person to greet you had such a bad disposition never a hello and just right into getting people out of the door... second they didn't have product ready and told us we would have to wait ten mins but somewhere they FOUND some product and fixed the food whichwas the toughestmeat i have ever had at a Chipotle, EVER. The young lady that was on the extras was a sweetheart but the gentleman on the register I wanted to punch in the face... he was just completely nasty, so I walked away and went into one of the nastiest restrooms ever.... there was more grease on the floor in there than in the kitchen. They never have to worry about me and how I feel because I will NEVER walk into that store again.
