El Capitan Bar & Grill

Good place to eat that is on fm 1015. Food is good. Prices are just a bit high but not bad. The place is clean with roomy restrooms. Don't be shocked with the music that is way too loud at the outside entrance. I have been here four times and it is an enjoyable place. I have never seen it crowded. Do expect to wait for your food.

1st time here and we'll, it was an experience. Food is fresh, hot and the fried shrimp and fish was great. Only the time frame to get your food on Mother's day was challenging for the staff. But over all service was very friendly and keep in contact while food was preparing. Will be coming back once the craziness of the day subsidies. 🙂

Nice setup food is caldo de marisco I give it a 7 or 8 almost has a gumbo taste to it, fish has alot of flavor ceviche is very good

Great margaritas! Great cold beer! Great prices! Portions were big n food was so Good! Definitely recommend the ceviche n shrimp cocktail! We will for sure be back! We have found our new go to place in Weslaco!

Bad experience was expecting more, the service was poor, the server brought the food before my appetizer, also my guachinango was dry and had no flavor and the camarones a la diabla had no diablo in it.

Food ok,,,Boring place,,,service sucks,,plus they tried to screw us over on tab had to get management involved to review camara to confirm 3 beers only compared to 16 they were charging,,complete idiots!!!!

Love this place!! Staff is very friendly and always helpful. If you go, you will need to go back to try out the rest of the menu. My favorite is alligator gar plate, and the salsa is awesome.

I don’t like the fact that 35 minutes before they close they tell u they can’t place ur order. That to me isn’t customer service if they really wanted to they would take the order to take care of the customer 35 minutes before closing. Not like I’m

The severs are great and very friendly food is great I like the place not loud can actually have a conversation without having to talk into your partners ear. On Thursday they have karaoke but I haven't been there ... one day maybe today

Primera vez comprando aki y super desilucionada con el servicio .. Page 43 mar y tierra y me dieron arroz y frijoles como para mi bebe nada mas ablo y me disen asi es lo que sirvemos , miro fotos y tienen mas arroz que los chinos 😂

the food was absolutely fantastic! it’s so tasty, like a bubble of flavor burst in your mouth when you eat a spoon of the de marisco soup. the salsa was also excellent, i’ve never seen it before, but it’s absolutely delicious. the place is also very clean. everything in this restaurant is awesome. totally recommended! :)

This place took me by surprise. Its very nice, cool and clean. Very cozy. It has a nice big bar as well. And the food is delicious. Try the fish and shrimp. Can also cater to large families.

Food is always top quality. The waiters can be a little quiet sometimes but not always. The bar definitely needs a bartender. Great restaurant for its location.

Order to go, my plate included a fajita taco and they forgot to put it in my bag the enchiladas only has a few slices of meat. I'm really dissapointed the other plates was supposed to be a shrimp plate and it only had 2-4 shrimps both plates mainly have just rice and beans for the price it's not good I payed 25$ and the server only took my order and it feels like he expects a tip. I asked for an extra spare plate to serve my two year old and the guy just stayed looking at me. I asked if they had any extra plate and just said NO! I want my money back this place is a huge rip off in my opinion. I would give this place 0 stars but unfortunately it doesn't allow it. This place charges you more than a restaurant like Chili's and they just want to give you rice and beans with enchiladas empty and missing items. So this restaurant left my stomach empty and unsatisfied. Please do not go here.

Really good fish place, food was fresh and delicious. Really clean and organized we drive by here every day and really didn't care or even think of stopping to eat boy was I surprised and that quote "don't judge a book by it's cover" hit me as we walked in 😉 happy customers right here and will definitely return. Prices are high for food that isn't all that great but what got me was the bad service... It took longer to place our order in than what it took to come out. Waitress never came back to our table to check if we needed refills (which we did)

I like this restaurant. It was clean and food was nice seasoned, not salty not greasy. The mashed potato was home made. A place to return.
