WOW!! Truth be told, I am not one to frequent ‘taquerias’, as I like to grill or cook my own; however, when friends of ours (from church) invited us here this past Wednesday, I knew I needed to return and bring my family to enjoy this food!
The beans have just the right amount of spices and pieces of pork in it, that result in such a delicious and very unique flavor, that want you asking for a second serving!
The baked potato with butter is so smooth and cooked just right, all you need is salt n pepper! The options available to top the potato are an added plus!
The chicken tacos with onions literally melt in your mouth, alongside the grilled onions and cilantro bits! I’m not sure if the chicken is marinated but the flavor is amazing.
Finally, the beef bistec tacos are tender, as is their ‘Taco Pirate’, and adding their green chili sauce is my version of ‘the cherry on top’!

I am wonderfully surprised and grateful for the customer service Mr. Octavio provided, as well as their Saturday staff. WOW! Thank You!

First time here. Trying it because they said it was delicious. First off taste was good but it was drenched in oil. When I opened the foil paper there was a puddle of oil. No time to complain but ate what I could. First time going and not impressed. Thanks

Great service. Attentive without being pushy and super friendly. They have a plate called the compadre. Two lonches , three tacos and beans. Everything was tasty with lots of meat.
3/27/23 Food remains consistently good. Expanded dining area provides a lot more tables. Favorite place for tacos. 🌮 🌮

Best taqueria in Weslaco so far... they have fast service and their food is perfect in taste and their aguas naturales are the best. I recommend this taqueria to anyone who wants tacos and lonches for lunch or dinner.... I'm from Edinburg and I don't mind coming all the way over here to eat their delicious food, it's worth it! Esta taqueria es la mejor, tienen buenos precios, servicio rapido, y el sabor de la comida está perfecto...sin duda vuelvo a venir! 10 out of 10!!!

On top of this, they don’t give me salsa. I call and they say I need to check my order. Then as I’m talking the lady keeps interrupting me, she said she can’t come and bring my salsa, I said what she can do is train her employees to make sure orders go out complete because she also said they change personnel.

Second time I have a problem here. The first time they did not give me salsa, I called to complain and they put me on hold so I stayed on the line listening how they would attend up to 5 clients and they didn't bother to pick up the phone and talk to me. (I was completely ignored) so I ended the call and called again. The manager was so rude. So I went again after a long time and again I got only one salsa. I asked for another one and the girl was so rude saying she was not allowed to give any more. I called and talked to manager and she told me I had to buy more and that whenever I buy "tamales" it was one salsa per order. I don't think it was appropriate for her to say that! I wasn't buying tamales... so unprofessional..NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!

Was very good. Servers were very attentive and food was really good. They really need to do more advertising for the place though because I never heard of this place and hardly drive through the road they're currently located. I'll recommend this place to people I know though. I only found out about this place because my aunt invited me to come eat with her.

I need to update my review on this place. I tried their pirata taco for the first time. The food in general was very good, my only complaint is that the pirata was disappointing. It's very small compared to pirata tacos in other restaurants in the area while it costs just as much or more than other places. It was good flavor but not worth the price. Don't recommend it unless they make it at least as big as other restaurants at the same price. Felt like I paid $10 for 2 tacos slightly smaller than stripes tacos. I still recommend this place for anything else but don't order the pirata taco.

4.5 rating from me. Tell u what, the food is consistently very good. The charro beans are sometimes inconsistent(from visit to visit) but still good/very good.
The prices are reasonable. I would rather order a taco combo-(4)bistek tacos, beans, a loaded potato and drink for $8 vs a $15 double meat/cheese meal @ WB a.k.a. Whata(nExpensive)Burger!!!
I tend to go during off hours usually between 1-3pm cause this place does get busy.
